Reviews of anti-vibration pads for washing machines

Reviews of vibration standsAnti-vibration pads for washing machines are designed to make the washing machine more stable during operation, preventing it from moving and dampening vibration. At least, that's what the manufacturers of these accessories claim, vying with each other to praise their products. But what do washing machine users think after trying an anti-vibration mat or pad? Find out from the reviews we've collected, transcribed, and compiled in one post just for you.

Master House

Alena, Khabarovsk

We recently did a major kitchen renovation, including replacing the flooring with waterproof laminate. To prevent the washing machine's feet from scratching the floor, my husband bought inexpensive anti-vibration pads from Master House.

Initially, we only wanted to protect the new laminate from the shaking of the washing machine during the spin cycle, but in reality, the washing machine stopped shaking and jumping so much, and most importantly, it became much quieter overall.

It was a pleasant surprise, as I used to think that an automatic washing machine was supposed to be so loud and shake, but now our whole family enjoys the silence, and all we had to do was buy $2 stands. After checking the internet, I found out that there are quite a few ways to reduce the noise of a washing machine, including anti-vibration matsI feel kind of stupid, why didn't I solve the problem earlier, especially since the solution is so simple.

I used to put thick pieces of rubber under the feet of my washing machine. They helped dampen the vibration a little, but it turns out the Master House stands are much better. I wouldn't say the machine is completely quiet now, but at least it doesn't try to run away from the bathroom, tearing the hoses off. Now it stands rooted to the spot even at the maximum spin speed of 1200 rpm.

Zumman

Anatoly, Moscow

ZummanI got the Zumman washstands as a gift with my washing machine, but they just sat in my desk drawer for about a year. I didn't bother installing them, thinking they were unnecessary for the machine. A week ago, I was sorting through my things and found these stands. I decided to install them just so they wouldn't just sit there. But the next time I did a wash, I realized they were useless. The machine was still rattling, so they were practically useless.

Washing machine mats and stands are complete garbage, as I unfortunately discovered after buying both. And the reviews I read online convinced me they were practically a panacea, that if you put them under the machine's feet, it would stop jumping and run very quietly. I personally tried them all, including the vaunted Zumman stands, and I can say with certainty—they're 100% a lie. Don't believe the advertisers and the fake forum members they employ who make up praise for their products.

Magic Power MP-610

Kristina, MoscowMagic-Power-MP-610

When I bought an LG washing machine, I was tempted by the salesperson's offer to buy Magic Power drum cleaner and Magic Power MP-610 anti-vibration pads with the machine. He tried to sell me a washing machine mat instead, but it was much more expensive, so I declined. It turned out to be a good decision. The stands don't help at all. It says that they dampen vibration and reduce noise from the washing machine, but in reality the machine continues to work noisily, and nothing has changed with the stands, except that some of them have started working again due to our stupidity.

I installed the new washing machine myself, as a matter of principle. I followed all the rules: leveled and reinforced the floor, installed the machine level, bent the drain hose according to the instructions, and, among other things, installed Magic Power MP-610 anti-vibration pads. My efforts paid off. The "home helper" runs incredibly quietly, surprising everyone in the household, as my previous washing machine of the same brand used to run like a tractor, especially during the spin cycle. I think the anti-vibration pads played a significant role.

Finally, it should be noted that anti-vibration pads do not dampen destructive vibrations during washing machine operation, but in some cases they prevent them from spreading to the floor and surrounding objects. This may be why the effect of these accessories is not noticeable to some users.
