Review of a gas stove with a dishwasher and/or oven
People resort to all sorts of tricks to save space in a small kitchen and make it at least a little more functional. Aware of this desire, home appliance manufacturers offer solutions that make significant progress in solving the age-old problem of space constraints. They offer combination appliances that combine the functions of several household appliances. For example, a gas stove combined with a dishwasher, an oven combined with a cooktop and a dishwasher, and other combination appliances, which will be discussed below, are also available.
The challenges of buying a combination dishwasher
By purchasing a stove and dishwasher combination, you save 60-80 centimeters of usable space. Instead of a stove, oven, and dishwasher, which together would take up approximately 120-150 cm in width, you get a single appliance that's only 60 cm wide. The benefit is obvious, but there are also some challenges.
- Cost. A built-in stove with a dishwasher costs the same (or even more) as a separate electric or gas stove with an oven and a good dishwasher. Be prepared to pay at least $900 for this “miracle of technology.”
- Functionality. An electric or gas stove combined with a dishwasher has limited functionality. Specifically, the dishwasher will only hold a maximum of 6-8 place settings, and the oven will only hold one baking tray. An electric or gas stove, or more accurately, a cooktop, will be fully functional. For the price, the results are more than modest.
- Utilities. A gas stove combined with a dishwasher will require numerous utilities: gas, electricity, and water. In fact, this isn't as safe as it might seem at first glance.
- Technical complexity. Imagine how many parts there are in a device that combines a cooktop, oven, and dishwasher. If something breaks—and the likelihood is quite high given such a complex design—maintenance will be very expensive, assuming a technician can even repair it.
Please note! Although the design of this combination dishwasher is quite unusual and non-standard, its parts and components are quite standard, the same as those found in conventional dishwashers and stoves produced by a specific manufacturer.
These are, perhaps, the main points you should immediately consider when deciding to buy a dishwasher. If you're completely satisfied with everything mentioned above, you can proceed to choosing a manufacturer and a specific model.
Dishwasher-equipped stove review: pros and cons
Combination dishwashers are still few in number on the market. This is because manufacturers are still just exploring this promising technology. However, a few models are already worthy of our attention; let's take a look.
Candy TRIO9501W. This model is known as a combination gas stove, oven, and dishwasher. The Candy TRIO9501W's features are quite remarkable:
- standard hob with four gas burners;
- electric oven with grill;
- A dishwasher located under the oven that can accommodate 6 place settings.
The renowned manufacturer claims that this combination machine is easy to use, as all the necessary kitchen appliances are located nearby, in a compact space. The hob has an electric ignition. The oven (if you remove the grill) accommodates one baking sheet, at least the manufacturer has supplied the oven with only one standard holder for it.

The Candy TRIO9501W measures 865 x 600 x 600 mm (H x W x D). It accommodates any number of appliances, thanks to its well-insulated walls. The dishwasher operates quietly, producing just 39 dB. The combined gas stove is also quite energy-efficient: the oven consumes 2 kW, and the dishwasher consumes 0.75 kW. Water consumption is 9 liters. The average price of this model is around $950, and it comes in white.
Please note! The Candy TRIO9501W has 4 heating elements with a power output of 3.5, 2.5, 1.7, and 1 kW.
The main advantages of the Candy TRIO9501W model:
- saving space in the kitchen;
- ease of use;
- high quality dishwashing;
- there is an express wash program that takes 32 minutes;
- saving water and electricity.
The main disadvantages of the Candy TRIO9501W model:
- difficulties in supplying gas, water and electricity;
- the complexity of the design, which can lead to breakdown (heating elements are especially vulnerable);
- the dishwasher only holds 6 place settings and the oven only holds one baking tray, which is quite small for a family of 3;
- The gas hob is not covered by a protective cover, so to avoid a fire, a tile or metal apron must be placed behind the combination dishwasher.
The Candy TRIO9503X is a combination electric stove model featuring a 4-burner electric cooktop, an electric oven located below it, and a dishwasher located below the oven. The manufacturer has combined all of this into a single, robust unit. The dimensions of the combination appliance are 850 x 600 x 600 mm (H x W x D). The average price is $1,010 and the color is silver.

We will not describe the oven and dishwasher, since their characteristics are completely identical to those of the Candy TRIO9501W model. Let us just note that the hob of the combined electric stove is a modern glass-ceramic one, which means it is necessary to follow all the rules for its use, otherwise it will spoil.
Important! Many users fear that the vibration from a dishwasher cycle could negatively impact the operation of their electric stove. These concerns are completely unfounded.
The Candy TRIO9501X is a combination gas stove, oven, and dishwasher. The model includes a 4-burner gas cooktop, an electric oven located below it, and a dishwasher located below the oven. This model differs from the Candy TRIO9501W only in color (in this case it is silver) and the presence of a metal protective apron covering the hob.

The Candy TRIO9501X also has slightly smaller dimensions of 850 x 600 x 600 mm (H x W x D), with a height difference of only 1.5 cm, but sometimes even this can be decisive. The oven and dishwasher are identical in specifications to those in the Candy TRIO9501W. The average price is $1,020. The Candy TRIO series includes small built-in dishwashers, which have been produced under the Candy brand for quite some time. Review of small dishwashers will help you get to know this technique better.
Consumer reviews of combination dishwashers

Candy TRIO9503X. I'm very happy with this wonderful electric stove-dishwasher hybrid. For five years, I'd been trying to figure out how to fit all the appliances I need into my kitchen, but I couldn't come up with anything, and then this came along. It's become incredibly convenient and comfortable. I live alone, so I don't need a large oven or dishwasher. Cooking on this stove is a pleasure, and I can easily reach down and load the dishwasher – everything is within easy reach.

I just bought a Candy TRIO9501X and it immediately broke down. The dishwasher started malfunctioning and didn't work properly for three months. I sent it in for warranty repair, and the company kept nagging me for six months. They finally fixed it, returned it, and it seems to be working fine so far. The annoying thing is that I spent a ton of money on something that could easily break, and no one knows how to properly repair it. Incidentally, there's one issue I mentioned in the repair request, but it still hasn't been fixed: the electric ignition doesn't work every time, so I have to turn the switch two or three times. For hundreds of thousands, the manufacturer could have adjusted it. Bottom line: I'm extremely dissatisfied with my purchase.

Candy TRIO9503X. This electric stove is simply magical. As soon as I saw it in the mall, I knew it had to take its rightful place in my new kitchen. And you have an oven, a hob, and a dishwasher, all in one bottle, so much free space has appeared. The only thing I'd do if I were the manufacturer is to make the oven more spacious by increasing the height of the appliance a bit. Otherwise, I'm happy with everything. I give the Candy TRIO9503X five stars!
In conclusion, it's worth noting that dishwashers combined with a gas or electric stove are a new development on the global market, although the idea itself has been around for quite some time. In the Russian market, you can only find appliances produced under the Candy brand; other manufacturers haven't yet introduced such products due to low demand. The reliability of these combined appliances is also unclear, although this is typical of anything new.
