Instructions for the Indesit IWUC 4105 washing machine

Indesit IWUC 4105 manualOnly those unsure how to properly start a washing machine remember to read the washing machine manual. However, we recommend that everyone at least briefly read it before using the appliance. For this purpose, we offer an abridged version, using the Indesit IWUC 4105 washing machine as an example.

Connection

Connecting your washing machine begins with placing it on a level, sturdy floor, so ensure this is secured in advance. After unpacking the machine and inspecting it for any damage caused during transport or defects, you can remove the shipping bolts. These bolts are used to secure the moving parts during transport, so don't lose or throw them away.

After placing the machine in its designated location, adjust the feet to ensure they are level. This will prevent excessive vibration during operation. The horizontal tilt of the machine should not exceed 2 degrees.

Important! There should be a small gap between the machine and the carpet for ventilation when installed on carpeted floors.

Now you can connect the machine to the utilities, if you have all the connections ready. Take the inlet hose and connect it to the drain trap outlet or to a separate outlet on the water supply pipe. Don't forget to insert the rubber seal into the end of the hose. Before connecting, drain the dirty water from the pipe by opening the tee. Connect the other end of the hose, the slightly bent one, to the outlet on the washing machine. The thread is screwed on by hand, without any additional tools.

The machine can drain into the bathtub or directly into the sewer. In the former case, the faucet is mounted on the edge of the bathtub using a guide. In the latter case, the end of the drain hose must be inserted into the drain outlet and secured. In both cases, remember that the highest point of the drain hose must be at least 65 cm and no more than 100 cm from the floor. This is achieved by securing the hose with a latch to the rear wall of the machine. When extending a short hose, the total length should not exceed 150 cm, otherwise it will put additional strain on the pump.

To connect the washing machine to the power supply, you'll need a grounded, moisture-resistant outlet connected to the power source via a residual-current circuit breaker. The appliance's operating instructions fully outline these technical requirements, and the manufacturer reminds us that it bears no liability for damage to health or property resulting from noncompliance.

Detergent trayIndesit IWUC 4105

The Indesit IWUC 4105 washing machine has a standard detergent drawer located in the upper left corner. It pulls out with one hand. It is divided into three main compartments. Counting from left to right, the leftmost compartment is used for prewash and holds washing powder. The center compartment is the most important and is used for the main wash, while the compartment on the right holds fabric softeners and fabric softeners.

The tray's design also allows for the use of bleach. It's poured into the fourth compartment, a small container placed inside the prewash compartment. The bleaching process eliminates the need for a prewash cycle.

Care and safety rules

Paying close attention to washing machine safety and maintenance will extend the life of your appliance. Here are some basic guidelines:

  • After washing is complete, you need to disconnect the machine from the electrical network and turn off the water supply;
  • Do not use the washing machine for industrial purposes, it is intended for home use only;
  • Do not allow children near the machine while it is running, do not allow them to play with the machine;
  • Do not touch the body with wet hands;
  • It is prohibited to open the powder compartment during washing;
  • Before placing laundry in the drum, check that there are no foreign objects in it;
  • If the machine breaks down, do not try to repair its components yourself while the equipment is under warranty.

As for maintenance, it's not just the machine body, which can be wiped with a cloth and detergent, that requires care, but also individual parts. Regular cleaning is required for:

  • drain filter to prevent excess load on the pump and stopping the machine from clogging;
  • powder tray to prevent the water supply hole from becoming clogged with powder and gels. In addition, the cuvette should always be wiped with a dry cloth to prevent mold from appearing;
  • the hatch door and the drum, after washing they are wiped with a cloth and opened slightly for ventilation;
  • the insides of the car are cleaned once every six months using special cleaning agents for removing scale and limescale.

Do not use abrasives or solvents to wash or clean the machine!

So, the instructions for the Indesit IWUC 4105 washing machine aren't much different from those for other models, but there are still some unique features. We've covered the basics, but you'll find all the details in the full version below.
