Ardo A800X Washing Machine Manual
Many people still own washing machines from the Italian brand Ardo. However, the operating instructions have been lost or are still available, but they're not in Russian. Even if you need one, an electronic version is perfectly adequate. For example, we offer a quick reference guide for the Ardo A800X.
Machine installation
Before using the machine, remove not only the packaging but also the four safety screws and spacers. Insert plastic plugs into the holes for these screws. Once you've chosen a location for the machine, level it by tightening the lock nuts on the feet. Failure to level the machine will result in noise and wear on internal components.
Important! Install the washing machine only in a room where the temperature does not drop below 0 degrees Celsius.
Before connecting the machine to the water supply, open the tap and drain the dirty water, then screw on the inlet hose. The appliance must be connected to cold water only, and a filter gasket must be inserted between the tap and the hose, and the same gasket must be placed at the other end of the hose. When washing, open the water supply tap completely.
The drain hose is connected to the sewer drain so that the highest point of the drain is 60-90 cm above the floor. You can also insert the drain hose directly into the sewer pipe, which should be at least 40 mm in diameter. Secure the hose so that it does not pop out under the pressure of the draining water. If you plan to drain the water into the bathtub, secure the hose using the included holder.
Electrical connection requires a waterproof outlet with a 1.5 mm electrical cable. This outlet must be capable of withstanding the maximum load of the washing machine. For safety, a residual-current circuit breaker (RCCB) is installed on the electrical panel where the washing machine's wiring is connected. Alternatively, the machine can be connected to the power supply via voltage stabilizer, which will smooth out the jumps.
Remember! Do not turn the appliance on or off with wet or damp hands.
Control panel and tray
The user interacts with the Ardo a800x washing machine through the control panel, which contains buttons and rotary knobs, namely:

- washing temperature control knob;
- spin speed selection handle;
- program selection knob;
- heating off button;
- water machine stop button;
- spin off button;
- Wash cycle shortening button.
Please note that all programs are numbered and their names are displayed on the control panel.
The detergent dispenser in this machine is divided into three sections. The compartment on the far left holds the detergent used during the pre-wash. The compartment next to it (in the center) holds the detergent used in the main wash. The compartment on the far right holds the fabric softener. It seems simple, but there's a catch: when using liquid detergent, you need to insert a special dispenser into the main wash compartment and pour the detergent into it.

Starting the wash
Once you've figured out the functions of all the buttons and where to pour the detergent, you can begin the first wash, which should be done without laundry and without the spin function. This wash will remove dust and debris from the machine's drum. To start a wash with laundry, first sort the laundry, remove any stubborn stains, and arrange it according to load size. Then, follow the steps below:
- turn on the water;
- set the program knob to the Stop position, remember that the knob can only be turned clockwise;
- plug the machine into the socket;
- pour the powder into the powder tray;
- select the required program, speed and temperature;
- Pull the programmer towards you to start the wash; if the machine has an on/off button, press it;
- wait until the wash is finished;
- open the drum door;
- turn off the power;
- turn off the water supply.
Service
The Ardo washing machine is designed to require minimal human intervention, but some maintenance is still necessary to prevent the machine from malfunctioning. The debris filter should be cleaned approximately every 3-4 months, and the filter mesh on the inlet valve should be checked and washed every six months. After each wash, it is necessary to wipe and air out the machine to prevent moisture from accumulating and mold from forming. That's all the events.
Avoid washing your washing machine with abrasives, acids, or alkalis. Soapy water is best.
After each wash, be sure to leave the door and detergent drawer open. The detergent drawer should sometimes be completely removed and soaked in hot water to ensure dried-on detergent dissolves and comes off completely. If it's time to clean the dust filter, follow these steps:
- Immediately after washing, open the plug lid, which is located in the lower right corner of the front wall of the washing machine.
- Place a flat container under the filter plug so that part of this container fits under the machine body.
- Unscrew the filter cap and drain the remaining water into a container provided.
- We remove the container and then thoroughly clean the filter.
- Screw the filter cap back in and close the lid. Be sure to check that the filter is screwed on tightly, otherwise you'll flood the room during the next wash.
Finally, we remind you that the manufacturer is not liable for any injury to you or damage to the washing machine caused by failure to follow the safety instructions in the manual. Please be careful!
