Bosch Classixx 5 Washing Machine Manual
The Bosch Classixx 5 washing machine is a simple yet reliable appliance with German roots. Although the quality of these machines has declined somewhat recently (possibly due to Russian assembly), they still offer serious competition to automatic machines from other brands. If you need instructions for this model, we have them available. In this publication, we have provided a shortened version of this document and the original instructions, both of which are available for free use.
After purchase
Upon delivery of your washing machine, you should immediately unpack it and inspect it for defects. Keep in mind that the seller will accept your return within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked. Problems may arise later, even if the machine is under warranty.
Without further ado, place the machine in its intended location and remove the transport elements. The area where you plan to place the machine must be completely prepared:
- the foundation is leveled and strengthened;
- unsuitable floor coverings (carpets, rugs, laminate, etc.) were removed;
- The necessary communications are provided (socket outlet, sewer outlet, water supply).
Bosch Classixx 5 is not demanding in terms of additional accessories, but still, in order to reduce vibration noise, you can put special ones under it. anti-vibration footrestsWith them, the machine works noticeably quieter.
To ensure your Bosch Classixx 5 washing machine runs smoothly and breaks down less often, it needs to be installed level. Let's assume the difference is no more than 2 degrees, but you don't need to rely on this.
Try to level the frame perfectly. To do this, use a spirit level and alternately adjust the feet until the machine is level.
The original instructions describe the process of connecting the "home assistant" to the necessary communication components quite well, so doing it yourself shouldn't be too difficult. However, if you don't have experience with this type of equipment, it's best to entrust the connection to professionals.
Learning to operate a washing machine
The Bosch Classixx 5 washing machine's operating instructions emphasize the importance of familiarizing yourself with the control panel to avoid basic mistakes, ruining your laundry, or damaging the washing machine. First, it's important to understand the components of the machine's control panel.

- A rotary knob used to change programs. It's simple, as this washing machine has only one knob, making it impossible to confuse with anything else.
- There is a display on which the control elements display various useful information.
- There are five buttons. The second button from the right activates or stops the washing program, while the others are used to turn functions on and off.
- A three-section dispenser. It's used for adding detergent, fabric softener, bleach, and other products.
The Russian-language control panel of the Bosch Classixx 5 washing machine is very informative. Much can be deciphered by reading the manufacturer's markings and symbols.
First start and subsequent use
The Bosch Classixx 5 washing machine doesn't have an on/off button, so the program selector switch performs this function. The neutral position (marked upward) indicates the machine is off. As soon as we turn the knob clockwise, the machine automatically turns on and goes into standby mode. We can then select the desired program, adjust it using the buttons, and then press the "Start" button. The first time we start, the procedure is as follows.
- We select the program using the handle.
- Open the dispenser and add powder.
- We do not touch the hatch, since you cannot add laundry during the first wash (you need to rinse the inside of the machine).
- Using the buttons, we activate the required functions, adjust the temperature and spin speed (if possible).
- We press start and wait for the program to end.
From now on, we'll do the same thing, but add one more step: loading the sorted laundry into the drum. If your kids like to play with the machine's control panel, you can install a child lock. To set the lock, immediately after starting the wash, press and hold the “start” button for 4 seconds.
Taking care of your car
Some "clean freaks" clean their washing machines with acid-based, chlorine-based cleaners, and even abrasive powders. In our opinion, no matter how good their intentions, this is downright barbaric and shouldn't be done! Your washing machine does need to be wiped down after the wash cycle, but a clean, dry cloth is sufficient.
If there are stains on the housing that can't be removed with a regular cloth, use a soapy sponge. Wipe the dirty surface first with it, then with a damp cloth, and finally with a dry one. Don't forget to rinse the detergent drawer occasionally, as undissolved powder often remains in it.
In addition, you should clean the machine's dust filter and pipes to remove debris and limescale deposits. The dust filter can be cleaned manually, without using any chemicals or tools. The rest of the machine's internal components (without disassembling it) can be cleaned using specialized cleaning products. Specifically, there are washing machine mold remover, limescale, and other gunk. They're fine to use, but be careful and read the packaging.
This is roughly what the basic instructions for the Bosch Classixx 5 washing machine look like. If you need more detailed information, download the file attached to this post. Good luck!

Machine g. The shortest wash cycle is 36 minutes. Who's bothering with it for so long? Rob the welder or something?
Well, yeah, it's a hassle to buy it, then install it, buy detergent, load the laundry, then pour in the detergent and rinse aid, close the door, set the program, open the door. Oh yeah, and sometimes you still have to dust it. 🙂 But in the sink, it's a quick one-two, one-two, and you're done. It's a huge time saver. And if you keep your socks on and wash in them... you wash and dry them without having to put them on in the morning. 🙂
100%
I'm already tired of the length of the process of this Classixx 5.
After work, I need to rinse my socks, T-shirt, and underwear. I wait for two hours. Then I fall asleep.
This way you can turn it off when you need to and put it into rinse mode, without having to wait until it finishes.
I see 0 and some checkboxes on my screen.
Buy six socks and six pairs of underwear and wash them once a week.
I can't figure out which program is the shortest. I wash everything for 2 hours. Often, this is completely unnecessary.
