Bosch Maxx 6 Washing Machine Manual
If you need information on how to start a Bosch Maxx 6 washing machine or how to properly connect it, you've come to the right place. This is the operating manual. Electronic versions of manuals are becoming increasingly popular these days, and that's understandable. Let's break it down.
Safety instructions
When installing and operating your washing machine, follow all instructions in the manual. A number of hazardous situations may arise:
- Risk of electric shock. Therefore, only unplug the machine by the body; do not pull on the cord. Do not touch the plug or the body of the machine with wet hands while using it.
- Risk of injury. The door glass becomes hot when the water temperature is high; do not touch it while the program is running. Be careful when pulling out the drawer. Injury may occur when moving the washing machine; it is heavy, so always move it with two people.
- Risk of poisoning. Keep machine detergents out of reach of children.
- Choking hazard. Keep packaging materials (box, film) out of reach of children.
- Explosion hazard. Do not wash items soaked in solvents, gasoline, or diesel fuel; they may cause an explosion during washing, so it's best to hand wash them first.
Washing
We will present the process of starting the washing process in the form of the following algorithm:
- Open the water tap to which the machine is connected.
- Plug into the network.
- Sort the laundry and load it into the drum.
Important! To prevent drum imbalance, load small and large items together and remember to load the maximum amount.
- Place the detergent in the main compartment of the drawer, i.e., in the compartment on the left. If you are pre-washing, add detergent.
into the compartment on the right. Pour conditioner into the central compartment up to the mark. Be sure to dilute thick gels with water to prevent the hole from clogging, or pour them into a dispenser container that is placed in the drum with the laundry. - Turn the selector dial to the desired program, note that the handle can be turned in any direction.
- Press the additional function button if needed. Note that the buttons are sensitive; a light touch is sufficient.
- Wait until the wash is finished and unload the laundry.
- Turn off the machine.
- Turn off the tap water.
If you accidentally select the wrong program, to change it you need to select another program and press the Start button.
Individual settings
The Bosch Maxx 6 washing machine may have different features depending on the model, but overall, they differ only slightly and are configured in the same way. These features include:
- delayed start;
- spin speed, which is adjusted not only before starting the program, but also during the program;
- spots - extended duration program;
- pre-wash with water heating up to 30 degrees;
- easy ironing;
- adding water, which means extra rinsing.
In this series of washing machines, the child lock is activated by holding the Start button for 5 seconds and remains in effect until the lock is deactivated. Deactivation is also accomplished by holding this button. This washing machine features an adjustable beep volume. To do this, follow these steps:
- Set the programmer to the 12 o'clock position (off).
- Turn the programmer 1 notch clockwise.
- Press and hold the spin setting button.
- Turn the programmer one more notch clockwise.

Important information
Treat your washing machine and your clothes with care, so before washing:
- check all pockets;
- zip up your zippers;
- remove rings and hooks from curtains;
- Wash underwear and small items in a special bag.
Before the first wash, the manufacturer recommends running the machine empty, meaning without laundry. To do this, pour a liter of water and a dose of detergent into the main compartment of the detergent dispenser. Select a heat setting of up to 60 degrees Celsius (140 degrees Fahrenheit) and no spin.
It is not recommended to bleach clothes in the washing machine, as well as to carry out frequent clothing dyeing special means, as they affect the internal parts of the machine.
Maintenance and care
Machine maintenance involves cleaning the drain pump, drain hose, and metal mesh on the inlet valve. When cleaning the pump, turn off the machine and remove it. Gradually unscrew the pump, draining and collecting the wastewater in a shallow container. After removing the filter, rinse and clean it. To clean the drain hose, disconnect it from the siphon by loosening the clamp. To access the inlet valve mesh, unscrew the inlet hose and gently pull the mesh toward you with pliers. Rinse it and replace it.
When cleaning your washing machine, remember to wipe off dust and spills regularly, using only soft cloths or rags. Do not wash the machine under running water; use only a slightly damp sponge. Avoid using solvents or cleaning agents.
It's crucial to clean the powder dispenser drawer; it can be removed by pressing the center of the middle compartment and pulling it toward you. After cleaning the drawer, wipe it dry. In general, make it a rule to wipe the drum, cuff, and drawer with a dry cloth after each wash; this will protect the machine from mold and odor.
The limescale that has formed in the machine is removed with special products when starting the wash cycle without laundry.
We'll stop here. If you're interested in knowing what to do in the event of a malfunction or breakdown, the complete manual for your equipment provides detailed information on this topic. Download the manual and read it.

E 05 what does it mean?
The door is locked, what should I do?
The washing machine brand is Bosch 6. If -0- lights up on the screen, there is a key in the upper left corner of the screen, and the machine does not wash - it beeps (when you hover over any program of the selection sensor) - it does not wash.
