Instructions for the Indesit WISE 10 CSI washing machine
If you're interested in this post, it means you have an Indesit WISE 10 CSI washing machine, and for some reason, the manual has been lost or is unreadable due to a lack of a Russian translation. It's good that you've searched for it rather than trying to figure out how to use your "home assistant" yourself, poking at every button in the hopes of guessing. This article will give you everything you need!
We will install and connect the machine
Before installing the washing machine, inspect it for any external defects. If any are found, return the "home helper" to the seller. Next, remove the plugs with spacer washers and unscrew the fasteners used for transporting the washing machine. Replace the plugs where the bolts were removed, and then store the removed parts away for future use.
We will not touch the hoses attached to the body for now, so that they do not interfere with the movement of the machine.
Now you should leave the washing machine alone for a while and start planning the space where you plan to put it. Ideally, you should begin preparing the space for the washing machine during a major renovation of the room.
- Lay out pipes and arrange connections for the inlet hose.
- Install a siphon with a drain hose outlet or a sewer pipe outlet for it.
- Install separate grounded and circuit breaker protected wiring for the moisture-resistant outlet.
- Strengthen and, if possible, level the floor under the future machine. The stronger and smoother the floor, the less vibration, and therefore the quieter the machine will operate and the longer it will last.
- And of course, you need to clear enough space for your future "home helper" so that there's nothing in front of its door that interferes with loading laundry into the drum, and there should be clearances around the body (1 cm on the sides and top, 10 cm at the back). You get the idea!
We're dragging the washing machine into place. By the way, don't try this alone; you might hurt yourself. Move the surrounding objects out of the way so the washing machine body is accessible from all sides; otherwise, connecting it will be awkward.
We unfasten the hoses and install the inlet hose. What does "install" mean? We insert the rubber seals, having first lubricated them with grease (in case they've dried out). We screw one end of the hose to the inlet valve (on the machine body) and the other to the water pipe outlet. A tee valve is usually installed on the outlet pipe so that the water supply to the machine can be shut off. We check the connection for proper quality.
Next, connect the drain hose from the pump to the drain. Incidentally, the pump draws water out of the machine quite quickly. So, if you don't secure the hose properly, waste water will splash onto the floor. Don't force the hose into the drain; if it's not long enough, extend it with a hose of the same diameter.
Now all that's left is to connect the washing machine to the outlet. Be careful: if you live in a community with frequent power outages or voltage drops, it's best to connect the washing machine through voltage stabilizerThis will seriously protect your new "home assistant".
Control panel, washing start
If the connection is successful, it's time to try out your new machine. First, though, it might be a good idea to examine the control panel to understand which knob and button do what. The Indesit WISE 10 CSI washing machine has four categories of controls on the control panel, not counting the dispenser. What are they?
- Handles. This Indesit washing machine model has only one handle, which is used to change programs.
- Buttons. There are eight buttons, which are used to turn on the washing machine, start the washing program, and activate various functions.
- LED indicators. Three LED indicators illuminate the function buttons: "Easy Iron," "Extra Rinse," and "Stain Removal."
- Display. The control panel has a single screen, which displays all the information useful to the user.
The Russian-language control panels of Indesit WISE 10 CSI washing machines contain a wealth of useful information. Specifically, all available programs and functions are labeled.
Let's start the wash. Press the large button located in the upper right corner of the machine, which will activate the control panel. Under normal conditions, you'll need to load the laundry, but this isn't recommended for the first wash. Let the machine run the program idle and rinse itself from the inside.
Turn the dial so the arrow points to the number 2. Press the corresponding button to activate the desired function (you don't have to do this for the first wash). Add detergent to the dispenser. Press the button located in the top row, second from the right. This button activates the wash program. Then, all you have to do is wait for the machine to finish washing.
How the dispenser works
It would be a good idea to also look at the dispenser's design so you know which compartment to fill with what detergent. Almost all Indesit washing machines have the same dispenser. It's very simple. It's a pull-out plastic drawer divided into three sections. The first section on the left is rarely used. It's needed when activating the "Soak" mode. When running regular programs, don't put detergent in it. The middle section is always needed, as it's for the main wash cycle. The section on the far right is for rinse aid.
There's also a whitening compartment. It's placed directly in compartment number one when you want to turn on the whitening function. It's rarely used, so the manufacturer intentionally made it detachable.
After washing
So, you know everything you need to do laundry with your new Indesit washing machine. However, to ensure it lasts a long time and maintains its aesthetic appearance, you need to take care of it. You don't need to do anything special. Just after each wash:
- dry the inside of the machine by leaving the hatch and dispenser open;
- Wipe the rubber bands and all other wet parts with a cloth to prevent moisture from stagnating and causing an unpleasant odor;
- Rinse the powder receptacle to remove any remaining gel or powder.
These measures will help maintain the neat appearance of the washing machine, but this is not always enough. To ensure your washing machine works properly, you need to clean the debris filter periodically. How to clean the filter in an Indesit washing machine, you can read in the article published on our website.
Here's a short version of the instructions for this washing machine. If you find it insufficiently informative, please refer to the manufacturer's instructions, which we've placed directly below this publication. Good luck!
