Instructions for the Vyatka Katyusha 722R washing machine
So, your Vyatka Katyusha washing machine has arrived at your home from the store in its original packaging. While you're naturally tempted to open it and try it out, there's no need to rush. First, carefully read the instructions for this washing machine before attempting any operations. If you're too lazy to read the original instructions, check out the abridged version we've provided in this article.
Installation, adjustment and connection
First, carefully open the packaging and remove the washing machine. Don't tear the box, but be careful. Next, remove the shipping parts. The image below shows a schematic and a brief description of how to remove these parts.

Thanks to the transport elements, the drum cross is securely fastened and cannot rotate during transportation of the washing machine.
Once you've removed all the parts listed above, store them in a safe place so you can easily return them when you need to transport the car. Now we need to move the Vyatka Katyusha 722r car to its permanent location. By the way, the location for this placement should be prepared in advance:
- the floor is strengthened and leveled (at least relatively);
- any carpeting has been removed and can be replaced with new carpeting anti-vibration mat;
- There must be utility lines (water supply, sewerage, electrical outlet) in the immediate vicinity of the machine body;
- There should be a gap of at least 1.5 centimeters around the body of the machine, and the clearance between the bottom of the washing machine and the floor should be about 1 cm.
Once the space for the washing machine has been properly prepared, you can move it there and begin leveling it. The washing machine body must be installed strictly level, with a maximum 2-degree difference. To level the body, you'll need to adjust the machine's feet. To do this, you must first loosen the lock nuts on the legs, and then unscrew the legs to the desired height. It is necessary to ensure sufficient clearance between the floor and the body, and most importantly, to level the machine, otherwise it will produce more noise during operation.
Next, you can connect the machine. The instructions indicate that a Vyatka Katyusha washing machine requires a separate grounded electrical outlet. It requires a 1.5 mm² copper wire or a 2.5 mm² aluminum wire, and this outlet must be protected by a circuit breaker. We'll be connecting the power cord to the outlet last; first, we'll connect the machine to the water supply and sewer system. This is described in the article. Installing and connecting a washing machine yourself.
Machine elements and their purpose
Before using the Vyatka Katyusha washing machine, it's important to understand the purpose of all its key components. This is especially true for the control panel, as its knobs and buttons require familiarity. So, let's list and briefly describe the most important external components of the washing machine, which the user interacts with directly on a regular basis.

- The door has a locking mechanism and handle. The door securely seals the drum during washing, preventing water from spilling out. To ensure the door closes properly, ensure the door seal and locking mechanism are in good condition.
Be careful with the door handle; it's quite flimsy on the Vyatka Katyusha washing machine.
- Powder tray. A special pull-out drawer where you place detergent before washing. In some cases, it is acceptable to add detergent directly into the drum.
- Program selection knob. Located on the far right side of the control panel, this knob allows you to select any of the available washing modes.
- The water temperature control knob is located next to the program selector knob and is self-explanatory.
- Buttons. Four buttons are located directly behind the handles. The first button, located behind the handles, turns off the spin cycle, the second activates the half-load mode, the third pauses the wash, and the fourth turns the machine on and off.
In addition to the above elements, the Vyatka Katyusha washing machine's control panel has two lights. One indicator alerts the user that the machine is on, and the other indicates that the heating process is in progress.

The structure of the bunker for detergents
The Vyatka Katyusha washing machine's detergent drawer is extremely simple in design and looks similar to most automatic machines. It's a rectangular pull-out drawer, and when opened, we see that the interior is divided into three compartments:
- the first compartment, if you count from left to right, is necessary for soaking the laundry; if soaking is not planned, there is no need to pour powder there;
- the second compartment is for the main wash, where we pour the powder most often;
- The third compartment is used for any special additives, from simple blueing to high-quality conditioner.
Before placing the powder in the detergent dispenser, make sure that there is no detergent left in it from the previous wash.
Before and after washing
Immediately before washing, sort dirty laundry by fabric type, color, degree of soiling, etc. Separate enough laundry to avoid overloading the machine. Inspect each item carefully to ensure nothing has been accidentally left in the pockets. Any loose buttons or holes will need to be repaired. Some items will need to be turned inside out, and if there are zippers, they should be fastened.
When sorting laundry, be sure to check the care labels. They contain information that will help you wash each item correctly. Don't overload the machine, but don't overload either. Ideally, 1.5 to 3 kg of laundry is ideal, with a maximum load of 4.5 kg. Once you've sorted the laundry and loaded it into the drum, you're ready to wash.
- We close the hatch door tightly.
- Pour the powder into the tray and close it.
- Press the button farthest from the powder dispenser and turn on the washing machine.
- We set the temperature and select the required program. Once the program is selected, washing will begin immediately.
- As soon as the program selection knob is turned to the “stop” position and the hatch is unlocked, you can take out the laundry.
After washing, be sure to unplug the machine and turn off the water. Wipe the inside of the detergent drawer with a dry cloth. You should also wipe the door seal, the inside walls of the drum, and the front panel if any moisture has gotten on it. Do not close the door after washing; in fact, the door should only be closed during washing; otherwise, it should be left open.
Well, that's it, we've summarized the basic information contained in the original manual. If you need the factory manual, you can find it below the text of the publication. We hope you find what you're looking for. Good luck!
