LG Washing Machine and Dryer User Manual

LG Washing Machine and Dryer User ManualWashing machines have become a fixture in our homes and apartments, yet few people are likely unfamiliar with how to use them. Improved versions of washing machines—dryers—are gradually gaining ground on the market. Drying is now being added to the familiar features. The unknown can be daunting, so it might seem much more difficult to use such a machine, although this is a misconception. Let's review the instructions for LG washing machines with dryers to see for ourselves.

How to use a machine with a dryer?

What should you do after you've installed your washer and dryer and connected it to all the utilities? Can you run it and test it out? Not recommended. Any reputable technician will recommend running an empty wash first to clear the drum of any buildup. If you haven't already, do so.

If the machine is ready for use, double-check that it's plugged in and the tee valve is in the "Open" position. Sort your laundry by color, fabric type, or any other method you prefer. Load the first load into the drum and close the door. Now, the sequence is as follows:pour the powder into the LG washing machine with drying function

  • Open the dispenser and pour detergent into the main wash compartment (the largest section). Push the tray back in;
  • press the "Power" button and wait for the machine to turn on;
  • set the washing program you need, adjust its parameters if necessary (spin, temperature, duration, rinse);
  • press the start key;
  • Wait until all wash stages are complete. After draining the water, remove half of the laundry from the drum.

Please note: A tumble dryer can dry exactly half as much laundry as it can wash.

Once the desired amount of laundry remains in the drum, select the drying program that best suits your needs (based on fabric type, weight, etc.). Close the drum and press start. Repeat the process with the second load.

Some models offer the option to immediately start a complete cycle (where drying begins immediately after all washing cycles, without interruption). When loading items into the drum, make sure you don't exceed the specified load and that the fabric can withstand the drying process. At the end of the cycle, you'll remove the dry laundry from the drum. However, the option of manually intervening and separating the laundry is safer; it's still a good idea to supervise.

First launch of the new machine

As mentioned above, before using the washing machine for full use, you should test drive it to ensure it's working properly and to remove any industrial contaminants from the interior. This is usually done by the installer, but if they haven't done so, you'll have to run a dry wash yourself. Also, during the test run, you need to be nearby in order to react promptly to a malfunction if anything happens. What should be done?

  • Connect the machine to the power supply.
  • Close the hatch door tightly until you hear a distinctive click.
  • Pour or pour powder or liquid detergent into the dispenser (there are also special detergents for the first start of the washing machine).
  • Select the Cotton wash program (temperature 90) and activate it.
  • Wait until the work is completed, without moving far from the machine and observing its behavior.choose Cotton 90

During the cycle, pay special attention to sounds. There should be no unusual grinding, clanking, humming, or other noises. After the wash cycle, carefully inspect the drainage system, hoses, and underneath the washing machine for leaks. The exterior should be completely dry. Also, check to see if the machine drained properly and whether there is any standing water inside the drum.

Pay attention to how the washing machine moves. It shouldn't bounce or vibrate excessively. If this happens, check whether the unit is installed correctly and whether the floor has been leveled beforehand. If the suspicious behavior of your washing machine is difficult to explain, you should contact a service center for advice from a technician.

Why is it necessary to do the first wash without loading the machine? The reason is that residual industrial dirt can leave permanent stains on your clothes. Besides, the point of a test run is to check the machine's functionality, not to actually wash or dry the clothes.
