How to turn on an Ardo washing machine

For some, turning on a washing machine may seem like a trivial matter, but don't rush into it. People who are new to a new brand of appliance may be completely unsure how to turn it on. Furthermore, difficulties with turning it on can arise even if you've just bought a new, modern machine or, conversely, a used one without instructions. In this article, we'll explain how to turn on an Ardo washing machine.

Preparing for launch

Before you can start washing your Ardo, you need to properly connect it to the power supply. This may determine whether the machine will even turn on. If the inlet or drain hose is connected incorrectly, the washing machine may not start, and an unfamiliar message will appear on the display informing you of the error. Some washing machine models react to floor level, so the machine must be level.

So, after the unit is delivered home, you need to:

1. unpack it and remove the transport bolts;
2. make sure that the hoses are long enough to install the machine in the chosen location;
3. connect the inlet and drain hoses to the machine;
4. connect the water inlet hose to the water supply double;
5. connect the drain hose to the siphon branch;
6. Install the machine level by adjusting the feet.

Important! The drain hose should be positioned approximately 60 cm above the floor to ensure proper drainage. As for the electrical connection, it should be directly connected to a grounded outlet, without an extension cord or adapter.

Starting up before the first wash

Before washing clothes and linens for the first time, Ardo recommends running your new machine empty. This is necessary to flush out dust and oil from the tub and drum. Also, be sure to read the instructions for the equipment, which describe how to turn on the Ardo machine. We will share the general algorithm for starting washing machines of this brand.

An empty wash without laundry is started as follows:

1. close the drum door;
2. Pour some powder into the powder compartment and close it;
3. check the position of the programmer, it must be turned off;
4. plug the machine into the power supply;
5. select the shortest program using the programmer;
   

   Important! The Ardo washing machine's program selector switch can only be turned clockwise. Even if the switch accidentally skips a program, you must turn it clockwise again.

6. Press the start button (Start), if your Ardo washing machine model does not have such a button, then pull the programmer towards you, as a result the door will lock and the indicator will light up, informing you that the program has started;
7. After the cycle is completed, the machine is turned off by pressing the Stop button or by pressing the programmer.

First wash

Starting your first wash cycle is not much different from starting an Ardo washing machine without any load, but we'll still describe the process in detail. To turn on the machine, follow these steps:

1. Load the laundry into the drum according to the maximum load specified for the Ardo washing machine for the corresponding washing mode. Overloading the machine may lead to an imbalance in the drum, and the machine may stop. Linens should be sorted by color and fabric type, and all small items should be removed from pockets.;
2. pour the detergent into the powder dispenser;
   

   Important! Do not open the detergent drawer during washing to prevent water from leaking onto the floor.

3. check if the water supply tap to the washing machine is open;
4. Plug the Ardo machine into the socket with dry hands;
5. select the washing mode and the desired temperature by turning the corresponding handles only clockwise;
6. pull the programmer handle to start the mode;
7. wait until the wash is finished and turn off the machine by pressing the programmer or the Stop button;
8. remove the laundry from the drum;
9. Unplug the machine from the power outlet.

So, starting an Ardo washing machine has its own unique features. Machines of this brand may not have the Start button you're accustomed to, but it will definitely be replaced by another button or a programmer. Read the instructions carefully, and good luck!
