Electrolux Dishwasher Error Codes

Important! Do not confuse the English letter I ("I") with the number 1 displayed on your dishwasher's display.
- The i20 code or two flashes indicate that the dishwasher is not draining properly. If the machine fails to drain for a certain period of time and the i20 error appears, the cleaning filter may be clogged, the drain pump may be broken, the drain hose may be kinked, or the water level sensor may be faulty. Usually, to eliminate the i 20 error, it is enough to clean the filters, which become clogged with food debris, bones, and sometimes pieces of chipped dishes.
- The i30 code, or three flashes of the End indicator light, means the water leak protection has been activated. More precisely, water has entered the tray, the float has tripped, and the valve in the Aquastop system has opened, shutting off the water supply. To resolve this error, drain the tray and replace the Aquastop hose (if it's mechanical), or simply drain the water and move the float out of the "water" position by tilting the dishwasher.
- The i60 code, or six blinks of the indicator light, means the dishwasher isn't heating the water or is heating it above the set temperature. This could be caused by:
- the heating element burned out;
- electrical wiring fault;
- temperature sensor failure;
- small amount of water collected;
- failure of the circulation pump or control board.
Most often, service center technicians encounter the first three problems.
Replacing a heating element or temperature sensor is possible at home, provided you have at least some technical experience. Diagnosing faulty wiring and control boards is much more difficult, so in most cases, this work is entrusted to a professional.
- The iF01 code on cars without a display appears as 14 indicator flashes. This error is related to exceeding the permissible water fill time, i.e., the dishwasher took too long to fill with water. Despite the occurrence of this error, the machine continues to wash dishes with a small amount of water until the water is drained, after which this error is corrected.
Electrical and sensor related errors
This group of errors can be considered more complex both in terms of diagnosis and troubleshooting. Here are the error codes for Electrolux dishwashers:
- The i50 code or five-times blinking indicator alerts the user to a malfunction of the triac responsible for the circulation pump. When this malfunction occurs, the pump operates at full power for a short time, after which the washing program stops altogether. The error can only be corrected by replacing the triac on the control module.
- Code i70 or 7 indicator flashes indicates a faulty heating element thermistor, causing the dishwasher to wash without heating the water. Replacing the NTC thermistor will resolve this issue.

- The iA0 code or 10 indicator flashes means the rocker arms aren't rotating. This could be caused by a power surge, or jamming. More often, the cause is much simpler: improperly placed dishes are in the way.
- The iB0 code or 11 indicator flashes indicates that the water transparency sensor is faulty. The fault occurs if there is no data on water turbidity for 15-20 seconds.
- The IC0 code or 12 indicator flashes appears if the connection between the control panel interface and the board is lost. The board needs to be diagnosed and replaced.
- Code ID0 or 13 indicator flashes indicates a faulty circulating pump tachogenerator if there is no signal for 20 seconds. The water does not heat up.
Malfunctions and difficulties in troubleshooting
Repair and troubleshooting of Electrolux dishwashers can be classified into one of three complexity categories. The simplest repairs can be done at home and won't take much time, 20-30 minutes will be enough. This includes checking the machine for blockages, kinked hoses, and replacing parts during partial disassembly of the machine body. Medium-complexity repairs include:
- replacement of the pressure switch;
- replacing the pump (error i 20);
- cleaning the inlet hose and filters of the water intake system;
- replacing buttons on the control panel.
