Review of 4-Pack Dishwashers
Sales data show that 4-placeholder dishwashers aren't very popular in Russia and the CIS. Why is this? It's likely due to their very limited functionality. Few people want a dishwasher that can't handle even medium-sized dishes, much less large ones. Nevertheless, there is a small group of fans of these machines, and for them, we've prepared our review today.
Why choose such a technique?
Indeed, why buy a dishwasher that can wash 12-16 plates and a few cups at most? What's the point if you still have to wash pots and pans by hand, not to mention baking sheets? The main reason lies in the size of such a dishwasher. Its W x D x H dimensions average 550 x 460 x 450 mm, meaning there's always room for it even in the smallest kitchen. "It's better to have any dishwasher than none." This is the maxim used by owners of miniature appliances, although from our perspective, it's still unreasonable. Why?
- With a dishwasher like this, a housewife won't be able to save her hands. The machine will wash some dishes, while the housewife will have to hunch over the sink to wash the rest.
- A machine for 4 people looks very unsightly, and built-in models are a rarity among miniature appliances.
- The cost of a miniature dishwasher is comparable to the cost of a compact one 6-set dishwasherIt's better to get a "home assistant" with a slightly larger capacity; it will be more useful.
- A miniature washing machine is very difficult to find in a home appliance store. It's listed in catalogs, but not on the shelves. Retailers can order it, but you'll have to wait a while.
Technically, such machines are significantly inferior, and this often affects the quality of dishwashing.
But the smallest dishwashers are very simple and low-maintenance. They're easy to transport from place to place. You could take one to the dacha for the summer, although even there it wouldn't be much use.
Bosch SKT 5002
The first dishwasher we reviewed was the Bosch SKT 5002. This extremely simple machine with mechanical controls washes dishes quite well, but it uses 15 liters of water. Modern full-size machines with a 14-place setting capacity can use 12 liters per cycle, while this one uses 15 liters for 4 place settings. The machine is quite noisy, on the normal program it produces 53 dB, although standard models operate at 45-47 dB.

The programmer has five wash modes. The standard program for everyday washing lasts 66 minutes. The Bosch SKT 5002 is completely leak-proof, which is quite encouraging. It has a built-in water softener. The average price of the machine is $385.
Siemens SK 25200
One of the most expensive miniature dishwashers, it costs $614. What can it do for that price? Not much. It washes four place settings and has basic mechanical controls. It uses about 12 liters of water per cycle, which is also a lot. It produces a noise level of 50 dB.

The dishwasher offers 5 wash programs and 2 temperature settings, which is generally sufficient. The Siemens SK 25200 is completely leak-proof and has indicators that promptly show the salt and rinse aid level. It can wash dishes at a maximum temperature of 65°C.0C. Body W x D x H – 555 x 460 x 450 mm.
Zanussi ZDC 240
The more basic but much cheaper Zanussi ZDC 240 has won the hearts of many mini-washer enthusiasts. It holds four place settings and washes and dries satisfactorily. It has electronic controls, but they're rather simple. There's no display. It uses about 10 liters of water, but it's as noisy as a Belarusian tractor. According to the manual, the Zanussi ZDC 240 produces up to 59 dB.

The control module has four wash programs and three temperature settings. There's no leak protection, no indicators, or sensors. Salt levels must be checked manually, as must the rinse aid level. The Zanussi ZDC 240 costs $298. The dimensions of the housing (W x D x H) are 570 x 500 x 470 mm.
Korting KS 6210 TT
At a relatively low price, this machine clearly outperforms similar models in technical specifications. The Korting KS 6210 TT can wash four place settings in one go. It features electronic controls, a decent display, and a child lock. It uses up to 8 liters of water and produces a noise level of around 55 dB. It has six programs, which is more than its competitors, although in our opinion, this advantage is questionable.
The machine is equipped with a delayed start timer, and its housing is partially leak-proof. The Korting KS 6210 TT is one of the few small machines that recognizes 3-in-1 tablets.
It's a shame to waste a whole 3-in-1 tablet on four place settings. If you cut it into quarters and use a quarter at a time, then the tablets are worth it.

The dishwasher has indicators that show whether it has salt and rinse aid. It even has a cutlery tray. The dimensions of this little one are 580 x 480 x 470 mm (W x D x H), which isn't all that small. The average price is $333.
Elenberg DW-610
Rounding out our review today is the budget-friendly Elenberg DW-610 mini dishwasher. There's nothing particularly remarkable about this machine. It also washes four place settings. It's a manual model, without a display or any other bells and whistles. It uses 10 liters of water—not a record, but still a lot. There are three automatic programs: normal, intensive, and quick. There's a salt indicator, but you'll have to figure out how to add rinse aid yourself. Frankly, the manufacturer's skimping on one LED doesn't inspire confidence.

The washing machine doesn't wash very well, but I'd give it a solid C. The body isn't too big, and it's not too small either: W x D x H – 570 x 480 x 466 mm. The average price is $236.
So, this time, we won't shy away from our own conclusions and will state the obvious: miniature cars are not worth buying; a quick glance at their technical specifications is enough. These cars are almost twice as expensive, and they're useless.
