Siemens 60cm Built-in Dishwashers Review

Siemens 60 cm dishwasher reviewIf you're going to buy a dishwasher, let it be a decent one. It's a shame everyone has different ideas about what constitutes a "decent appliance." Many people are turning to Siemens 60 cm built-in dishwashers, and we understand their preferences, as Siemens dishwashers have always been the benchmark for quality. In this article, we've decided to review the best Siemens machines, based on the specifications listed, and share real customer reviews. We won't be advertising, but rather providing objective information about these machines.

Why choose this technique?

We used to be bothered by this same question. It was unclear why people chose to buy Siemens dishwashers at exorbitant prices when there were so many good appliances available at affordable prices. Over time, we've come to understand these buyers well, and here's why.

  1. Siemens dishwashers are assembled only from the highest quality components.
  2. The best specialists work on the design of the models, which is why many Siemens machines are the main decoration of the kitchen.
  3. Siemens engineers pay attention to detail, so everything in their machines is carefully thought out, from the basket configuration to the lighting in the wash chamber.
  4. A great deal of attention is paid to the assembly and testing of finished machines, so the defect rate in any Siemens dishwasher line is negligible.

Thanks to multi-stage testing of assembled Siemens dishwashers, both at the factory and in our quality control departments, customers receive appliances free from manufacturing defects that last for decades, not just years.

Perhaps this is the secret of the unfading popularity of Siemens technology. The company's policy is not to reduce the quality of its products under any circumstances, Even if there's the temptation and opportunity to increase profits by producing consumer goods, reputation comes first! When purchasing Siemens equipment, a customer should be confident they're buying the standard, and that's what the company's army of engineers has been working tirelessly to achieve for decades.

Siemens iQ500 SN 64L075

We'll begin our review of Siemens 60 cm wide built-in dishwashers with the relatively affordable, yet wildly popular, Siemens iQ500 SN 64L075 dishwasher. This fully integrated machine boasts a beautiful design, a capacity for 13 standard place settings, modern electronic controls, and an informative display. Additionally:

  • there is a partial load mode that will save up to 6 liters of water and up to half a kilowatt of electricity;
  • There are only 4 washing programs, but these programs are selected in such a way that more is not needed;
  • The dish drying is condensation-based, but it works so well that you can be sure that not a single drop will remain on your plates or glasses;
  • The dishwasher has a delayed start program. You can delay the start of a pre-selected washing cycle for periods ranging from 1 hour to 24 hours;
  • The machine's safety is at the highest level, as it is fully leak-proof. This means not only the body but also the hoses are protected;
  • There is a special sensor that ensures that dishes are washed only with clean water;
  • There is a special tray for 3 in 1, 5 in 1, 7 in 1 products, the machine recognizes them perfectly and uses them correctly;

Thanks to its powerful water pressure and special action, the Siemens iQ500 SN 64L075 machine dissolves even low-quality 3-in-1 tablets without leaving any residue.

  • When the dishwasher finishes working, it notifies the user with a pleasant melody;
  • A special indicator shows that the dishwasher is working beam on the floor.

Siemens iQ500 SN 64L075

In addition to the above features, the Siemens iQ500 SN 64L075 dishwasher has indicators that will always promptly indicate when the machine is running low on salt or rinse aid. The dishwasher is equipped with an ultra-quiet iQdrive motor, thanks to which the noise level emitted by the machine does not exceed 48 dB.The height-adjustable baskets, the convenient cutlery tray, and the excellent glass holder are also worth mentioning.

Let's be honest, this model isn't the most energy-efficient. It requires 12 liters of water and 1.05 kWh of electricity to wash 13 place settings. This is average. However, it's worth noting that more energy-efficient models are at least twice as expensive. The Siemens iQ500 SN 64L075, on the other hand, costs no more than $675.

Siemens SN 66T095

This is undoubtedly a premium model. Not all buyers can afford it, as the price of the Siemens SN 66T095 has risen to $1,280. What can you expect for this price? Firstly, it boasts increased basket capacity. The total capacity of this model is 14 place settings. Secondly, it has a display and state-of-the-art electronic controls. Thirdly, the machine is highly energy-efficient and boasts a record-low noise level of just 42 dB.

A distinctive feature of this dishwasher is its accelerated program execution time. Even on the normal cycle, it can wash a huge pile of dishes in 150 minutes. By comparison, the premium Hotpoint Ariston dishwasher, with similar specifications, takes 210 minutes on the normal cycle—the difference is clear. The Siemens SN 66T095's wash programs are meticulously selected. There are only six, but they all include everything you need, even a soak mode, essential for removing dried-on dishes.

Siemens SN 66T095

The range of additional features is extremely comprehensive. It has everything the previous model had, plus it also features child protection. I don't want to jump to conclusions, but this machine deserves a place in every kitchen in the CIS. But we might be wrong; that's just our subjective opinion!

Siemens SN 66T096

This model is a technical improvement on the Siemens SN 66T095. What could be better? The ninety-fifth model is quite impressive in its technical specifications. But apparently there's always room for improvement, so the ninety-sixth machine was created. Its baskets have been reduced in capacity, but have become even more convenient for accommodating unusual dishes. They hold a total of 13 place settings, but users claim they can squeeze in 14. Perhaps the manufacturer was simply over-cautious, stating that the machine is designed for 13 place settings; that's to be expected from the meticulous Germans.

The Siemens SN 66T096 dishwasher features a beautiful design, a user-friendly and reliable control panel, and a display. Its noise level and energy efficiency are the same as the 95 model described above. Six wash programs ensure the removal of even the most stubborn food residues, even burnt-on ones. There's a partial load mode and a temperature selector with five settings. What additional features does it offer?

  1. Button to delay the start of the program from 1 hour to 24 hours.

Delayed start is ideal for those who load dishes overnight. The machine is quiet, so it won't disturb your sleep, and you'll have clean dishes for breakfast in the morning.

  1. The machine's body and hoses are leak-proof, so any accident will not result in flooding.
  2. Siemens SN 66T096 recognizes all dishwashing tablets.
  3. The machine has a sensor that monitors water quality.
  4. There is a system of indicators, including a beam indicating the time remaining until the end of the program.

Siemens SN 66T096

The model's distinctive feature is a smooth door opening/closing system and special glass protection. In addition, the machine is distinguished by very bright and beautiful lighting of the washing chamber. The approximate cost of the model is about $1,300.

Siemens iQ500 SN 66M094

Another premium model. It holds 14 place settings, and its baskets are perfect for stacking odd-sized dishes. It features a display, a user-friendly control panel, and excellent electronics. The electronics are practically indestructible. A full load of dishes requires about 10 liters of water, which is excellent even by European standards.

Siemens iQ500 SN 66M094

The Siemens iQ500 SN 66M094 is no noisier than the models described above, at 42 dB. The dishwasher's wash time on the standard cycle is 175 minutes. The machine offers six wash programs, including an excellent pot and pan cycle. It also has a partial load program. The Siemens iQ500 SN 66M094 has all the same additional features as the model described above, making it a competitive option with the Siemens SN 66T096 dishwasher. The average price for this model is $1,580.

Siemens iQ300 SN 64D070

This dishwasher, unlike the "elite" models described above, is simpler and less expensive. It's built-in just as well as the high-end models, and the door mounting hardware is identical, with no differences. It can handle up to 13 place settings simultaneously, features electronic controls, and a child safety lock. This dishwasher doesn't have a display.

Water consumption is reasonable, but this model can't be called economical, as it uses 12 liters of water per cycle. Noise levels can reach 50 dB, which is quite low for Siemens machines. This is due to the machine's use of a conventional motor instead of an iQdrive. The database only offers four wash programs, but for many, they are sufficient. On average, it takes a washing machine 2 hours and 20 minutes to wash dishes. This is a very good result. The wash quality is high. It has a partial load function and a whole host of other additional features.

Siemens iQ300 SN 64D070

  1. Complete protection against leaks on the body and hoses.
  2. A sensor that determines how clean the water in the system is.
  3. 3 in 1 pill box.
  4. Melody when the program is fully executed.
  5. A whole group of different indicators.

The Siemens iQ300 SN 64D070 unexpectedly lacks a program start delay, which is at least strange for equipment of this level.

The machine has the same baskets and tray as the Siemens iQ500 SN 66M094, so there's no doubt about its functionality. Assembly is German. The model is available for $630. A very reasonable price for such features!

User reviews

Reviews and descriptions are all well and good, but we'd like to hear from people who've used these machines for a while and can accurately describe their pros and cons. Experienced users have shared their opinions in reviews, which we invite you to read.

Alexey, Moscow

Six months ago, my wife and I bought a Siemens SN 66T096. It's a simply amazing machine. I wouldn't even compare it to my old Bosch, like a cart and a spaceship. It washes incredibly clean, holds a huge load, and there's no creaking or whistling. It's so quiet that even when you're in the kitchen, you might forget it's washing. The baskets and wash chamber are made of metal, and overall, I'm thrilled with the build quality; it feels like solid German craftsmanship. Overall, I won't beat around the bush—it's a great machine, even if it's expensive.

Using the Siemens iQ500 SN 66M094 dishwasher feels like buying a professional appliance. Before Siemens, I had two machines, one Beko and one Bosch. Their cleaning performance is significantly inferior. The Siemens simply pulls grease out of even the most inaccessible crevices, leaving pans and pots sparkling as if they were brand new. The appliance is super reliable; I've had it for a year now, and I haven't been able to find any fault with it. German appliances rule!

Milana, Novosibirsk

A year and a half ago, my husband gave me a Siemens SN 66T095 for our anniversary so I'd stop ruining my manicure, and I did. I can't remember the last time I picked up a dishwashing sponge, because the machine does a 100% job of cleaning dirty dishes. I used to be skeptical about dishwashers. My friend has a Bosch machine, and she often used it to wash baking sheets, pans, and other dishes. I thought it was better to wash them myself than to have to look at the plates later to see if there were any unwashed particles left on them.

It turns out I was wrong. It's all simply a matter of quality. If a Siemens washes flawlessly, it's immediately clear. That's why I recommend buying only the best dishwashers, like Siemens, so they'll really deliver!

Denis, St. Petersburg

The Siemens iQ500 SN 64L075 is my first dishwasher. Before I bought it, I washed dishes by hand. I don't like having to buy a new one every time. salt and powderIt's expensive, even though a dishwasher is convenient. You have to pay extra for convenience, and there's nothing you can do about it. The machine fits well into furniture. I installed it myself and had no problems. I recommend it to everyone!

So, the overall impression of Siemens' standard-sized built-in dishwashers, both from users and from us, is positive. These appliances are truly excellent in every way except price. Some models are incredibly expensive, although, of course, it depends on what you compare them to. Happy shopping!
