Basic methods of elimination
Since the manufacturer identifies the E24 error as a problem with the water drainage, let's first figure out how to clear blockages in the drainage system.
We think you won't have any problems cleaning the drain filter, as it should be done regularly. The filter is located at the bottom of the dishwasher and is fairly easy to remove. Use a wire brush to clean the drain hose. You can also remove the plastic plug underneath the filter to access the drain pump gear. Inspect and remove any debris. - The large plastic housing with outlets for the pipes is a flow-through heating element; there is a pump on the side of it. You need to turn the pump half a turn clockwise and pull it to the side;
Don't forget to disconnect the wires and sensors from it first.
- Now inspect the impeller, there may be hair and threads wound around it, they need to be removed, it is best to pull out the shaft itself for this;

For some, the E24 error code in a Bosch dishwasher doesn't cause any problems, and blowing out the drain hose with a wet/dry vacuum cleaner resolves the issue.
One user, after a long struggle with a malfunction, found the cause in the drain pump. It turned out that when it was turned on, the impeller refused to rotate, resulting in no water being pumped. The problem was that the rotor was completely stuck to the bushing walls or rotated but with difficulty. To solve this problem, you need to clean the bushing walls, the rotor itself, and lubricate the inside of the bushing.

I've been using this method (30 sec.) for two years now! I'm fed up!!!
The error made me nervous. I started with the stove... I flushed and cleaned all the pipes and outlets leading to the drain, including the inlet filters and sump. I added dishwasher cleaner. And lo and behold! Everything worked as before. You can't fool a Bosch; you need to clean it more often.
Guys, it's simple. Buy some clog-busting solution and pour it into the machine. Then rinse it 3-4 times and the error will be gone.
A regular plunger has helped so far. I've pulled a couple of peppercorns out of the filter. Next, I'm thinking of using a drain cleaner.
Guys, you won't believe it. The machine worked for three years after installation. Today it gave me a 24-point error. I moved it away from the wall, and to my surprise, how did it even drain? The hose was severely kinked. We tried our best to push it as close to the wall as possible!
