Error F01 in an Indesit washing machine

Error F01 is uncommon among Indesit washing machine errors. It's typical for machines that have been in use for many years. Therefore, this error most often occurs not on machines with a display, but on those without one. The motor is the one part of an Indesit washing machine that rarely fails. And if it does, it's due to wear and tear. That's why users of older washing machines encounter this problem.

Possible causes and symptoms

The occurrence of error F01 in an Indesit washing machine may be caused by the following reasons:

   Another incident occurred when dust from the brushes got between the armature and the winding. This also indicated a short circuit. I removed the motor, blew out the soot with a compressor, and reinstalled it. It's been working for two years now.
