Why isn't water getting into my washing machine? The reasons are as follows:

What should you do if your washing machine displays error code E17? First, check if there's water in the house; it may have simply been turned off. Also, check if the water supply to the washing machine is open; perhaps you forgot to open it before starting the machine.

The next thing to check is the filters on the water supply, as they are used for coarse filtration. Here's what to do:

  1. Turn off the power to the washing machine and close the water supply tap to the machine.
  2. Prepare a container for water if there is water left in the hose assembly.
  3. Unscrew the water supply hose from the water supply branch.
  4. If there is a mesh at the end, rinse it with water and carefully remove any stuck debris.
  5. Screw the end to the water pipe branch.
  6. Now unscrew the other end of the hose that connects to the machine and rinse the filter in the hose in the same way, if there is one.
  7. There may also be a mesh filter in the pipe coming out of the machine; it also needs to be washed and free of dirt.

Important! If there are instructions describing the location of the mesh filters, be sure to read them. You won't have to go through the hassle of searching for them.

If the E17 error on your Bosch washing machine is caused by low water pressure at the faucet, you won't be able to fix the problem yourself. In this case, you'll have to wait until the water pressure returns or call a plumber to determine the cause of the low water pressure.
