Error F27 in a Whirlpool washing machine

Knowing the cause of the malfunction, technicians can easily determine the correct action in a given situation, such as the F27 error.

What caused the F27 code?

If the "F27" icon appears on the control panel of your Whirlpool washing machine, it indicates a motor failure. Error F27 on the display means the motor is only rotating in one direction. The malfunction is caused by a burnt-out motor reverse relay in the control module.

Troubleshooting a unit on your own is difficult for an untrained person, even a novice technician. To fix the problem, you'll need professional help. Removing the control module
