Bosch Compact Dishwasher Reviews
A compact Bosch dishwasher is attractive primarily because it takes up much less kitchen space than a full-size dishwasher. Consequently, owners of small Khrushchev-era apartments with cramped kitchens won't consider a regular dishwasher simply because they have no room for it. Compact dishwashers, however, are of interest to many, and many buy them and then share their impressions. We'll explore the opinions of Bosch compact dishwasher owners.

A small dishwasher is a true miracle, a lifesaver in our family. While I'm not against washing dishes by hand, I'm just too lazy to spend hours at the sink every day. And my wife nearly faints at the sight of a mountain of dirty dishes; she loves cooking but hates washing dishes. So, we're slowly getting used to the new appliance. Here's what we've learned and appreciated after three months of use.
- The dishwasher perfectly removes dirt of any complexity.
- The machine is paused in order to add any item that was forgotten to be placed earlier.
- Sufficient number of programs. Nothing extra.
The Bosch SKS 40E22RU dishwasher has 4 washing programs: normal, quick, intensive and economical.
- Easy-to-maintain debris filter.
- You can place it almost anywhere, even mount it on the wall using brackets.
Overall, we are happy with the dishwasher, but it would be even better if the manufacturer took some of our comments into account in the future. Firstly, the drain hose has a straight fitting, but it would be nice to make it angular, so that the hose can be placed more compactly along the body of the machine.
Secondly, the pins that secure the dishes in the basket could be made bendable or even foldable. Thirdly, the sound insulation could be improved; if I hadn't put an anti-vibration mat under my dishwasher, it would have been very noisy.
Fourth, provide protection against power surges. This isn't relevant for us, since I immediately set up the connection via dishwasher stabilizer, but many won't spend money on additional equipment. Well, that's basically all the wishes. Fulfilling them won't require major investments, but the machine will be significantly improved and will attract even more attention.

I bought a compact Bosch SKS 40E22RU dishwasher on sale at a major hypermarket. The salesperson had slashed the price of all the appliances by up to 50%, so I had to have it. I'm a sucker for sales; I can't pass by a price tag that says "discounted." Well, that's not the point. So, I bought the dishwasher, brought it home, and made my husband install it and hook it up. He's a handyman, so he spent a couple of hours fiddling around, and now we're washing a test batch of dishes.
The first batch of dishes doesn't count because we didn't follow the instructions. We didn't stack the dishes in the racks properly, and we didn't clean them properly. The thing is that according to the instructions, the first wash should be carried out without dishes, so that the inside of the machine is cleaned of grease and the like. We didn't do this, and our dishes ended up smeared with some kind of nasty stuff.
Subsequent washes were carried out strictly according to the instructions, but to no avail. The machine washes dishes terribly. Moreover, it soon began to break down terribly.
- A month later, the door bent and wouldn't close properly. My husband tried a little magic, and it started closing, but it took a lot of force.
- Three months into operation, the heating element burned out. I had to call a technician from the service center, who replaced the part for free, albeit with a three-week delay.
- Another six months passed, and the heating element burned out again. I couldn't take it anymore and started a scene at the service center, but it turned out that the heating element is a common problem with all Bosch compact machines.
We struggled with this dishwasher for a year, and then I posted an ad and sold it to some kind people for half price. It turned out to be unreliable and of poor quality, even though it's a Bosch. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone!

I've been interested in compact dishwashers for a while, but it never got beyond asking around. But recently, I finally decided to buy a Bosch SKS 40E22RU dishwasher. I love it so much, it's a real piece of work. I was so hesitant before, I should have bought it without thinking twice. It cleans dishes well, better than I could have washed them by hand. It holds a lot, it's amazing how much they can fit in there; it's more than enough for me alone. I don't think there are any downsides to this machine, but we'll see how it performs over time. I'm very pleased, five stars for the manufacturer!

I've been using this dishwasher for five years now, and I don't understand the negative reviews. I love to hang out on forums and discuss new kitchen appliances, but I try to be honest. The Bosch SKS 51E88RU is a very good machine. It's reliable, assembled in Spain, and all the parts are still like new, despite all this time. It's a bit noisy, but that's where the downsides end. It cleans perfectly. I don't accept the negative comments about this dishwasher, and I don't recommend it – it's truly a great appliance!
My husband was careless enough to burn his favorite saucepan. I racked my brains trying to figure out how to clean it, and was surprised to discover that after a standard dishwasher wash, the saucepan was almost spotless, and a second wash removed all traces of the burnt residue.

I bought the Bosch SKS 51E88RU quite a while ago; I can't even remember how many years we've had it. Over that time, it's become a part of the family. I'm so grateful to the scientists who invented this machine, because washing dishes is my least favorite chore in the kitchen. I haven't delved into the technical details. I don't even really understand how it works, and I don't care; the main thing is that it works, washes the dishes, and doesn't break.

I like compact dishwashers; I use a Bosch SKS 51E88RU dishwasher myself. Their only drawback, in my opinion, is the small volume of the washing chamber. But this drawback is objective—the small size, the small camera—there's nothing you can do about it. Otherwise, the device is very decent, and it performs its functions 100%.

I've had the dishwasher for six months. I can point out the following advantages: low price, sufficient capacity, ease of use, and satisfactory dishwashing results. However, there are more disadvantages.
- It breaks down often and repairs are expensive.
We've had problems with the rubber seal three times already. Over time, it deforms, causing the door to close poorly.
- The dispenser opens poorly, which is why the product does not dissolve completely.

- The salt compartment is completely inconvenient; the first time I filled it with salt I cursed myself to bits.
- The compartments for dishes are awkward. It must be some kind of special Spanish dishware, because our bowls and plates don't fit properly in them.
- It's buzzing loudly.

It's a great dishwasher; I've been using it for three years now and haven't had any problems. It uses the detergent sparingly, and I've saved a lot of space in the kitchen by squeezing the washing machine and dishwasher into one corner. I'm very happy that I don't have to wash dishes by hand, which used to be a real chore.

When I was furnishing my new apartment, I decided I'd definitely buy a dishwasher. But then, when I started planning a kitchen renovation, I realized there was no room for a regular dishwasher, so I had to settle for the compact Bosch SKS 62E88RU. I can tell you for sure, it's better to do without a dishwasher than to buy one. It's small, and that's it, and no fancy features can fix that, so I'm not happy with the purchase.
So, compact dishwashers haven't left people indifferent. Some people love them, while others are very dissatisfied with their purchase. In any case, you can't please everyone, and everyone decides for themselves whether they need one or not. Good luck!

I bought a Bosch SKS62E88RU dishwasher three years ago. I haven't regretted it one bit. It washes dishes perfectly, using salt, tablets, and rinse aid from different brands. And my little one has never let me down. Finish dishwasher detergents are good, but a bit pricey, so I use cheaper ones. One small issue has arisen: the rubber seal on the door itself has become stiffer, and the door itself has become slightly deformed at the bottom, creating a small gap. The repairman said this is a problem with all dishwashers, so he adjusted the seal and the gap has become smaller. There are no leaks from the gap. We'll see what happens next. But overall, I'm thrilled to have such a wonderful machine that allows me to save so much time. I wash all my dishes in it, and even 10-15-liter pots fit in it. What else could you need? Therefore, I recommend this model to those who have a small kitchen!
