Bosch SPS40E32RU Dishwasher Reviews
Once again, we decided to gather customer opinions on dishwashers from the German manufacturer Bosch. We'll focus on the SPS40E32RU model. First, we'll explore what kind of machine it is, what features it offers, and then we'll compile all the user reviews.
Machine description
The budget-friendly Bosch SPS40E32RU dishwasher is a freestanding, slimline model. It comes with 9 complete classic place settings. The minimum program selection includes:
- intensive program;
- express program;
- soak;
- economical program.
This dishwasher model has only 3 temperature settings, and a half load is also possible.
Since this is an economy class car, it doesn’t have many additional functions. There is leak protection, salt and rinse aid indicators. However, this machine lacks features such as a sound after washing, child safety lock, and other features. It consumes only 9 liters of water and 0.78 kWh.
Customer opinion

A quiet and compact dishwasher that cleans on any setting and holds plenty of dishes. You can wash not only plates but also pots and pans at once. It's plenty for a family of three. It's also very energy-efficient, even with the racks half full. It requires virtually no maintenance; it's very simple. The dishes are always clean, even sometimes I wash them without detergent, using baking soda and vinegar instead. Buy it, you won't regret it.

I spent a long time convincing my wife, and finally, I gave her a birthday present: a dishwasher. I hooked it up myself; it's so simple, even a child could figure it out. The only thing was, I had to buy a new siphon. We immediately bought salt, detergent, and rinse aid for the dishwasher. We then tried tablets, but didn't like them. So, the dishwasher is nice and big, but the metal is thin, which raises some suspicions. I'd like to point out that in most cases, the quality of the wash depends not on the brand of the dishwasher, but on how the dishes are arranged.

I'm still delighted and amazed by my purchase of a 45 cm wide dishwasher. It's easy to use and roomy. Of course, you have to think about how to arrange the dishes, but it gets better with time. It cleans perfectly, even without detergent—I completely forgot to add it, but everything came out clean. It also dries dishes well. It takes a lot of manual effort to achieve this result. Its quiet operation is another plus, as I only use it at night.

This dishwasher can be used freestanding or under the countertop, provided the top cover is removed. The dishwasher is 0.85 m tall with the cover, so it may not fit under the countertop. It has all the necessary programs, although they are limited. The cleaning effect is much better than manual cleaning, and it's also energy-efficient, preserving your manicure. According to my calculations, daily use costs $0.05 per day for electricity.
The cost of dishwasher detergents is comparable to the cost of sponges and hand washing detergents. I haven't found any drawbacks.

I received a dishwasher as a gift, and today I tested it for the first time, so I'm already sharing my impressions. I couldn't find any reviews about the dishwasher, so I decided to leave a comment myself for the sake of fairness. I washed the dishes on a half-load, and the result was clean. I took the dishes out before the drying cycle was completely finished, and everything was dry. I'm happy with everything so far, and I'll add more comments if I need to.

I didn't think the dishwasher was so quiet. We collect dishes for several days, and during this time, food residue dries like crazy. However, the machine handles everything; I'd have to scrub it by hand with an abrasive sponge. I buy Amway detergent, which doesn't contain phosphates. Salt andrinse aid I don’t add it because the water is already soft. To wash the stove grate or baking trays, you have to pull out the top basket. Overall, the machine is good, but there are some nuances:
- I'd like to see mobile plate holders in the lower basket to better accommodate larger dishes, like a duck pan. This feature is available in more sophisticated machines;
- there is not enough extra rinse;
- and it would also be possible to add a boiling mode for disinfection.
Overall, I'm happy with the quality of the dishwasher, and I hope it lasts a long time. As for it being useless, that's a myth. It's even more useful than a washing machine, in my opinion, since you use it more often.

We couldn't resolve a long argument over who was washing the dishes, and that's how the idea of buying a dishwasher came about. However, there was no room in the kitchen for it. Our happiness knew no bounds when we saw a Bosch machine in the store.
- First of all, it is our favorite German brand that we trust.
- Secondly, it is narrow, which is very suitable.
The technician quickly installed the appliance and explained how to use it. Now even my grandmother can handle it. Although it's narrow, it holds a lot of dishes and washes beautifully. The glasses shine perfectly, and the pans have been given a new lease of life. We can even use it at night because it's practically silent. In the morning, all you have to do is get up, put the clean dishes back in their places, and enjoy the morning. Happy shopping!
