Bosch SPV40E30RU reviewsThe Bosch SPV40E30RU dishwasher is an affordable appliance made in Germany. Looking at its price, you wouldn't even guess it was assembled in Germany, but it is. I hadn't really thought about buying a dishwasher, since my husband does all the dishes. We actually bought the Bosch SPV40E30RU by chance. Last year, we renovated our kitchen and ordered new cabinetry. The designers messed up something during production, and an extra niche was built into the cabinetry, just right for the dishwasher.

I considered having them redo it, as it was supposed to house a cabinet with shelves inside, but then I changed my mind. Since they made space for a dishwasher, let there be a dishwasher. Soon, a Bosch "helper" appeared in our house. Why we chose this particular model.

  • Firstly, it was a built-in dishwasher; no other would have been suitable, and the niche created in the kitchen unit dictated its own conditions.

The niche width is 48 cm, so only a narrow dishwasher model – 45 cm – can fit there.

  • Secondly, among narrow dishwashers, Bosch is one of the most capacious – it can hold 9 place settings.
  • Thirdly, this dishwasher is of a well-known brand, and, moreover, it is assembled in Germany.
  • Fourth, this machine was very inexpensive. With a discount, we got it for under $400.

Our family is idyllic now. My husband doesn't grumble about having to save his wife's expensive manicure or wash the dishes by hand. And our son enjoys organizing the dishes in baskets in various ways. He's even developed something of a hobby. I'm so grateful for the gift of a dishwasher!

Dishwashers are made for lazy people! That's what I used to think, and I was so wrong. The machine washes dishes so thoroughly that washing them by hand is simply impossible. After I got the Bosch SPV40E30RU, even the grimy Soviet-era pots I still have are so shiny they could be displayed in a retro Soviet industry exhibition. The Bosch washes much better than me, and that's a good thing, because I've hated washing dishes since I was a kid. I highly recommend it!

It's hard to find an inexpensive Bosch dishwasher these days, but luckily I managed to do so. It washes well on all programs, although I don’t really understand what the difference is between them. The machine uses very little water, and I buy cheap detergents. Five stars!

We've been using the Bosch SPV40E30RU dishwasher for over a year now and rave about it to everyone we know. It has never let us down. Despite its small capacity, we've tested it to wash a whole mountain of dishes in just two or three loads.

It turns out that 9 sets of dishes is not so little, they still need to be collected.

Bosch appliances, especially those assembled in Germany, have long been recognized worldwide. When you buy one, you have virtually no chance of running into any faulty parts. This is my first dishwasher. It's been working flawlessly for almost two years. At first, I bought expensive ones. Finish dishwasher tabletsThen I switched to cheaper products. But the machine still cleans well; at least, I haven't noticed any difference. Apparently, the expensive tablets and the cheap ones are all from the same box. The Bosch SPV40E30RU is an excellent dishwasher, I highly recommend it!

I changed my mind three times. First, I had a strong desire to buy a dishwasher; I even made plans to go shopping, but then I got distracted by other things and changed my mind. Two weeks later, the desire arose again, but again, something prevented me from fulfilling it. The third time, my dad and I finally made it to the appliance store and bought a Bosch dishwasher. What can I say: it was stupid of me to put it off for so long. Honestly, I should have gotten such a "home helper" a year ago, but I was stupid!

Overall, I think the new dishwasher is good. It only has one drawback: the door can't be locked when fully open. If you accidentally let go, it springs back to its original position at breakneck speed. I even smashed my finger in the door once. These minor flaws are offset by the high quality of the wash, and since the machine performs so well, I'm willing to forgive it for those minor issues.

Negative

Lydia, Nizhnevartovsk

The dishwasher isn't very good. The only two positives are that it's built-in and that it's quiet. It doesn't clean dishes well, especially pots and pans. They're left looking downright dirty. White streaks remain on the glass. I've seen better models. I don't recommend it!

I spent a long time deciding which dishwasher to get. I researched expert advice and consumer opinions, and ultimately bought the worst dishwasher in the store. After a year of use, two warranty repairs, and terrible performance, I still wash my dishes by hand and openly curse the German engineers!
