Candy CDP 4609 Dishwasher Reviews

Candy CDP 4609 reviewsWhen choosing a dishwasher, people start looking for reviews of different models. One way or another, someone will share the truth about their machine, thereby helping others avoid making mistakes. In this article, we've compiled people's opinions on the Candy dishwasher, categorizing them into positive and negative.

So, the Candy dishwasher has become an indispensable assistant for me. Since my budget was limited, we bought this one. How did we ever live without such equipment? I think that soon a dishwasher will become as commonplace as a washing machine.

In fact, it saves even more time than a washing machine, and I happily dedicate the freed-up minutes to my family.

And if you have a small child who requires constant attention, the machine is a real help. It cleans very well, rarely leaving behind small particles. I mainly use the normal and accelerated programs. Among the machine's advantages are its spacious shelves. The top shelf can accommodate fragile dishes, cups, bowls, and plates. And the bottom shelf fits pots and pans. There's a separate compartment for cutlery.

The dishes don't always dry completely, but at least there are no streaks on them. I use salt to soften the water, but not the rinse aid. Overall, if you use it correctly, you'll love it, and I recommend buying it.

For a long time, I got by just fine without a dishwasher. But once we had children, or more precisely, our second child, the dishes became incredibly time-consuming. We chose a dishwasher based on reviews and to match the color of our refrigerator. It wasn't exactly expensive, but I imagine they're cheaper in larger cities.

The metallic color has its drawbacks: every fingerprint or dirt shows up immediately. It's a constant source of rubbing all day, especially after children's hands. As for the machine itself, after four months of use, I have a lot to say about it:

  • Simple and intuitive controls, including just 5 programs. A short 24-minute cycle is a plus.
  • There is no timer, which is quite inconvenient, but you get used to it.
  • Installation is also quick and easy. I added salt immediately upon first use, and I always try to add it, even when using 3-in-1 tablets.
  • Despite the dimensions of the machine, it holds quite a lot of dishes, not as much as needed, but still more than Candy CDCF 6 07 dishwasherMore precisely, large pots and pans fit with difficulty.
  • The machine works quite quietly, quieter than a washing machine.
  • It washes dishes well, better than by hand. No matter how much you wash them, you won't be able to wash them. On the ECO setting, everything works perfectly. Except maybe for dishes made with buckwheat, when the dirt gets really sticky.
  • After the cycle is finished, to ensure the dishes dry thoroughly, I open the door and wait a bit. Otherwise, the dishes in the top rack will be damp, but not dripping wet.

So, I'm happy with the dishwasher. While it's not perfect, I don't see any major flaws. It works perfectly, so I give it five stars.

I've been dreaming about a dishwasher for so long, and finally, I started choosing from the affordable Candy models. I liked the Candy CDP 4609 dishwasher the most. I read a lot of reviews about it and then came to a conclusion: I like this machine; the programs are time-efficient, and I use inexpensive detergents for washing. It even cleans pots and pans, and even old pans get rid of the carbon deposits that have stuck to them for years, leaving them looking like new.

The downside of this machine is that it glitches when the water pressure is low, which is why you have to turn the machine on at night or in the morning.

This dishwasher is simply amazing. I absolutely love how it cleans everything; it's an absolute delight. Everything sparkles at high temperatures, and you could probably even use it to wash your toothbrushes, for disinfection, so to speak.

I don't regret this long-awaited purchase of a dishwasher at all. I'm surprised I can live without it. But let's get to the main point: the instructions don't go into detail about the modes, but the 24-minute cycle is fine for dishes. For greasy and dirty dishes, it's best to use the Normal cycle. Well, if something is really dirty, like pots and pans, you should choose the Eco or Intensive cycle, which I rarely use. For detergent, I choose inexpensive tablets and salt; rinse aid is needed for better drying. But I like it as is, because the dishes are clean, streak-free, and odor-free.

Negative

I was attracted to this dishwasher by its simplicity and low price. More likely the latter. I was chasing the low price and ended up buying a machine that doesn't suit me at all. I've already mentioned its advantages, but listing its disadvantages would require a long list.CDP 4609 Candy dishwasher

  1. It cleans plates, glasses, bowls, and pots fairly well, only having to rewash a large pot once. However, it cleans spoons and forks terribly. It feels like someone just sprayed them with hot water and that's it.
  2. The top spray arm gave out after three weeks. I didn't bother fixing it, since the machine was still under warranty. I called a service technician, who tinkered with something, and the spray arm started working again, but the wash quality didn't improve.
  3. It's not picking up detergent well from the tray. I don't know what's wrong, I guess I need to call a technician again.
  4. During washing, the machine rattles quite loudly, and there is also a fair amount of vibration.
  5. There's no child lock, even though my little one is always trying to get into the machine. And the control panel is in plain sight, as if that weren't enough.
  6. The maximum delay for the washing machine is limited to nine hours, and it's unclear why. Normal machines have a delay of up to 12 hours, and then you can set it as needed.

I didn't like the car right away, but there was nothing to be done, people don't refuse gifts, especially gifts like these, especially when they are given by work colleagues for an anniversary. To be honest, it doesn't wash dishes very well. Burnt-on grease marks remain here and there, and if you stack the dishes incorrectly, it won't wash anything at all. At first, the machine stood in the corner, but then my husband shoved it under the table, removing the top cover first. It's much more convenient this way, of course, but surprisingly, it became even noisier after that. It now rattles like a moped while running.

A friend got me hooked on the idea of buying a dishwasher. I wasn't really keen, but I finally decided to go for it, especially after learning the price of the Candy CDP 4609. If I had to sum up my experience in one word, "disappointment" would be the best one! It's probably just the dishwasher model, and you shouldn't give up on this kind of appliance just because it didn't work the first time, but something keeps making me want to wash dishes by hand. My main complaint is the quality of the wash: the dishes stay dirty, and the rest is probably not worth mentioning.

It's safe to say that this is where the real reviews end. The rest are most likely inflated by sales websites. Consider the opinions of different people and form your own. We hope you'll share them with us. Good luck!
