Kuppersberg GSA 489 Dishwasher Reviews

Kuppersberg GSA 489 reviewsThe Kuppersberg GSA 489 dishwasher, with its German name and relatively low price, is causing some buyers to be wary. This raises a host of questions: what kind of dishwasher is this, how well does it clean, and is it reliable? To find out, we decided to collect reviews in this article.

Satisfied customers' opinions

I was deciding between two brands, Kuppersberg and Beko, and now I don't regret my choice. This dishwasher is quite roomy and quiet. It cleans perfectly; even tea stains on an old mug came off perfectly. It also removes food stuck to plates. Before this, we had an Electrolux dishwasher, but it didn't produce such results. Every time, something would end up unwashed. Overall, no complaints.

The car was assembled in Turkey and comes with a two-year warranty, which is quite good.

This dishwasher is ideal for a small family. It's compact and affordable. It doesn't make any noise when working and washes dishes well, provided you use high-quality detergents. The number of programs is optimal. We like the Fairy capsules and Finish tablets. A minor drawback is that some droplets remain during drying.

The Kuppersberg GSA 489 built-in dishwasher is simply excellent, boasting a ton of advantages. Now I know for sure that I was right to buy this dishwasher; it's a real helper. It washes very cleanly, without leaving streaks. It's silent, thanks to its excellent sound insulation. You can even run it at night. I haven't encountered any issues during my time with it.

We recently started using a dishwasher and are delighted with the clean, streak-free results. Even my grandmother has gotten used to it and turns it on herself. It's almost silent, holds a lot of dishes, and is relatively inexpensive.

We bought a dishwasher for our summer house on sale. We're pleased with the results; it's quiet, cleans, and dries very well. We like the reliable build quality. Now we can fully enjoy our time at the dacha.

My husband chose the Kupperberg dishwasher because I'm completely clueless about them. So I trusted him to choose the perfect gift. This model has the perfect set of programs that we all use. It washes dishes well and dries them well, too. I should note that noise level was a significant factor, as everything is audible in a studio apartment. Overall, the machine is quiet; we even use it at night.

To turn on the machine at night, we use the delayed start feature. The maximum delay is 9.5 hours, which is quite sufficient.

Our dishwasher has been in service for four years now, and it hasn't let us down in terms of cleaning quality. We have to turn it on at least four times a day. The dishes are always dry after use. To get the best results, you need to use good products. For example, I chose Finish, which I import from abroad.

The machine is reliable and high-quality, the downside, in my opinion, is that the programs in it are very long, even the shortest one lasts 60 minutes. It would be nice if the manufacturer offered a 30-minute wash. Economical half load mode, which allows you to use half a tablet. The dishwasher holds a large amount of dishes, including a pot and two pans, as well as plates, cups, spoons, and forks.

This machine operates very quietly, and a beep alerts you when the cycle is complete. You can take the dishes out a few minutes after the cycle is complete. My advice: buy this machine if you're unsure what to buy.

Negative impressions

I consider this dishwasher to be a run-of-the-mill one, making a loud noise like a tractor, and it doesn't dry the dishes well. If you leave it on overnight, everything will be dry by morning. Of course, I shouldn't have given in to the online sales assistant's persuasion. I was originally planning to buy a Bosch. The result: the cleaning quality is so-so.

Although the machine washes clean and has a variety of programs, it broke down seriously after just 2.5 years. The electronics failed, and the water stopped heating. I don't think it lasted long, even with daily use.

Royzen Roman

The only positive aspect of the machine is its quiet operation. I have something to compare it to, so I'm happy with that aspect. But everything else is terrible, most importantly the washing and drying. I now believe that most of the positive reviews I read before buying it were fake and untrue. I was fooled by people's opinions. The result is a machine that doesn't clean well and leaves a white residue, and I won't comment on the chemical smell. Bottom line: a waste of money.

After a year and a half of using this dishwasher, I haven't found any redeeming qualities. It cleans horribly. No matter what detergent I use or how I adjust the water hardness, it doesn't improve the quality. The dirt remains, and streaks appear, so I have to wash it by hand now. I suspect I got a defective machine, but even if that's the case, I won't buy from that brand again.

This machine, with its German name, has nothing to do with Germans, and it's probably assembled in Turkey, although the seller claimed it was from Italy. It's a run-of-the-mill machine, but the price was attractive, and the seller did a good job. Overall, its origin is unclear, hence the quality. Water remains on the control panel after washing, and after the third run, there's even dirt in the form of graphite grease.

Once again I was convinced that it is better to take the proven Bosch or Siemens. I couldn't find any information about this manufacturer either on the packaging or on the Internet. Therefore, I give two points for the build quality.

Before buying a Kuppersberg dishwasher, I used a Bosch machine, which, by the way, served me well. It may have been a no-frills machine, but it washed dishes reliably for 10 years. I thought I'd afford a fancy dishwasher that would last me a lifetime, but it turns out my excitement was premature.

  • It cleans dishes well, but if you use a cheaper detergent, like the one I used in my Bosch, the cleaning performance drops dramatically. That's bad, because you won't be able to save on the detergent.
  • We had some installation issues. We didn't bother with it ourselves, but called an installer, who had a hard time getting everything right.
  • I didn't like the condensation dryer. The bin isn't well ventilated, and moisture evaporates slowly from the dishes. After 5-6 washes, an unpleasant odor developed. It's not far from mold.

Overall, I wasn't impressed with the model, although in its defense, I can say it's quiet and offers a truly extensive selection of programs. I wouldn't recommend this dishwasher to my family or friends. Not out of spite, of course, but for very objective reasons.
