Kuppersberg GSA 489 Dishwasher Reviews

Kuppersberg GSA 489 reviewsLuxury appliances always attract consumers, especially when their price is temporarily reduced. For example, we recently spotted the Kuppersberg GSA 489 dishwasher. Even its appearance distinguishes it from other dishwashers with its distinctive design, despite being advertised as a built-in model. Let's read reviews from consumers who have already tried it; they might provide more useful information.

Positive

Elena, Moscow

We bought the Kuppersberg GSA 489 about two months ago. Its cleaning function for delicate glass is amazing. The glasses sparkle with cleanliness, I've never seen them so clean; they're as clear as water in a cold mountain stream—wonderful! It cleans all other dishes flawlessly, without a single misfire. The controls are very well thought out, and there's no sign of poorly assembled parts. I thought that if the dishwasher was assembled in Turkey, there would definitely be some kind of defect, but no, I was wrong.

  1. The machine is equipped with a leak protection system. I didn't have a chance to test it, but that's a good thing.
  2. The baskets can move both downwards and upwards, allowing you to place large items.

Please note that the plate holders fold away, providing even more extra space.

  1. Despite its width of just 45 cm, this dishwasher holds enough dishes for 10 people. This is quite a large capacity, although smaller than full-size models.
  2. The machine is fully integrated, meaning it can be completely hidden behind a furniture front in a pre-prepared niche.
  3. If absolutely necessary, you can enable delayed start, which allows you to delay the start of the program for up to 9 hours.

I really like the appliances in every way. I think it couldn't be any other way when it comes to Kuppersberg dishwashers.

Andrey, Volgograd

It perfectly cleans any kitchen utensils, works quietly and looks beautiful. If you take care of it, it will always be beautiful and will work well. Five points!

Maria, Novosibirsk

This machine is head and shoulders above any Bosch dishwasher, that's for sure. I know because I spent about five years selling this type of appliance. Firstly, there are fewer complaints about Kuppersberg built-in dishwashers than Bosch ones, and secondly, they are genuinely better made, perform better, and last longer. I myself have a Kuppersberg GSA 489. We have two children: a two-year-old son and a five-year-old daughter. The dishes pile up; without the dishwasher, it would be much more difficult.

Before buying a dishwasher, I didn't know that clothes in the washing machine get washed faster than the dishwasher does. This fact surprised me a bit, but now I'm used to it. It's not bad, it saves money on manicures, since nails usually suffer from hand washing or washing dishes, neither of which I do by hand, and I don't recommend it!

Nadezhda, Omsk

I want to share my joy at purchasing the Kuppersberg GSA 489 dishwasher. I love everything about it. It feels like I designed and assembled it myself; everything is in its place. The baskets are very large and roomy, and the programs are tailored to any type of dishware, even unusual ones. You just need to figure out which program to use when. Excellent appliance!

Vladislav, Samara

We bought a Kuppersberg GSA 489 dishwasher last year at a slight discount. I installed it myself, and everything went perfectly. It works perfectly, the door locks in various positions, and the baskets are adjustable. It's well-built and has a wide range of features. Buy it with confidence!

Julia, UfaKuppersberg GSA 489

The machine impressed me with its ergonomics. The elegant white body matches perfectly with the rest of my kitchen appliances. My dishes are always clean and dry now. My daughter puts everything in the baskets, adds the detergent herself, and starts the machine without my intervention. I'm glad I chose Kuppersberg, especially since the price was affordable.

Negative

Anna, Kostroma

After a wash cycle, an unpleasant, slippery white residue sometimes remains on the dishes. I replaced Somat detergent with Finish, but the residue continues to appear. The residue doesn't smell chemical, but rather food residue. So, you end up waiting three hours for clean dishes, only to end up with plates that have to be washed by hand. This is a terrible model, not worth considering!

Love, Stary Oskol

Before heading to the store to buy a dishwasher, I checked out an expert's opinion on a forum. He spoke very convincingly about the Kuppersberg GSA 489, citing dozens of reasons. So, I bought the machine, and a month later its control module burned out. It might be a coincidence, of course, but I think the Turkish assembly let us down.

Before the dishwasher stopped working, there was a massive power surge. All the lights in the house first dimmed, then brightened considerably.

The most interesting thing is that they refused to give me a free warranty repair, claiming that the breakdown was caused by a power surge, which is not covered by the warranty. The repairman explained that for such delicate equipment as the Kuppersberg, it is absolutely necessary to install voltage stabilizer, but how could I have known about this? Now I'm sitting here, angry at the whole world. I've already paid for the repairs, what can I do, and the repairmen are in no hurry to fix it.

Vladimir, St. Petersburg

I bought the machine online without testing it. It was delivered quickly, and I connected it myself. The sprinklers turned out to be defective; I had to re-punch every hole because they were either filled with plastic or clogged with oil sludge. After some adjustments, the machine worked fine, but after just three months, the electronics started malfunctioning. I didn't expect a machine like Kuppersberg to be such a failure. I don't recommend it!
