Bosch SPV30E40RU Dishwasher Reviews
The German-made Bosch SPV30E40RU built-in dishwasher with its ActiveWater hydraulic water circulation system has proven popular with Russian consumers. The dishwasher is assembled in Germany, which speaks volumes about its high quality. But is it really that high? To avoid relying entirely on a trusted brand, let's ask users for their opinions. They will either confirm or refute this idea.
Technical features of the model
Before we dive into people's reviews of this dishwasher, it's a good idea to briefly review the technical specifications of this model to get a better idea of what people are saying.
So, let's start with the characteristics that deserve the most attention. If you ignore them, you could end up with low-quality equipment.
- Dimensions and installation type. In this case, we're dealing with a narrow dishwasher, 44.8 cm wide, which is well within the standard for narrow dishwashers.
When producing narrow built-in dishwashers, the manufacturer takes into account that the width of such equipment should not exceed 45 cm.
- Capacity, washing and drying classes, noise level and drying type. Because narrow dishwasherIt won't hold a lot of dishes; in this case, the load limit is 9 place settings. The washing and drying performance is "A" class, nothing out of the ordinary, and the noise level is 52 dB, which is within the norm, but one could have expected it to operate quieter. And finally, the drying type is also without surprises; this model has a condensation drying system.
- Manufacturer's warranty, country of manufacture, and program selection. Despite the model's low price (around $350), it's made in Germany. The manufacturer's warranty is modest, just one year, but that's generally sufficient. The program selection is also limited, with only three, so this dishwasher isn't for those who appreciate a wide range of modes.
Beyond the basic features, buyers place great importance on the specifications of a given dishwasher model. Specifically, these include:
- half load;
- the ability to use 3 in 1 products;
- alternating water supply technologies;
- the presence of a self-cleaning filter.
The fact that a budget dishwasher has these features is simply wonderful. But that's not all. There's a series of indicators that alert the user to the presence of salt and rinse aid, and provide information on the progress of the wash cycle, not forgetting to signal its completion. Leakage protection and child protection are also included. The dimensions of the model (W x D x H) are 44.8 x 55 x 81.5 cm. A special plate is included with the dishwasher, which attaches to the back of the countertop to protect it from steam.
Positive opinions

I've owned three dishwashers in my life. I can say for sure that this is the best one. I always had some kind of problem with the others. I've talked to so many repairmen that I could probably repair them myself; at least I know where everything is located and how long and expensive it is to replace them. My new dishwasher hasn't given me any problems in a year.It is not demanding in terms of operating conditions, it works properly, and I don’t need to clean it five times a week. I am completely satisfied with it.

I've always sincerely believed that dishwashers are for lazy people who can't be bothered to do anything about their home. I was born and raised in the countryside, so I know what life is like in a rural home, but here in an apartment, people are too lazy to even wash their own dishes. Now I admit my mistake; I've realized that it's really hard to live without a dishwasher, so I bought myself a reliable and inexpensive Bosch.
Technology is technology, but for it to work, you need to learn how to operate it.
My first impressions weren't great. It was difficult to get the hang of arranging the dishes in the racks, and I was unlucky with the detergent, so I messed up the first three washes, but that was all my fault. Now I've learned how to load the dishes, bought some good German dishwashing tablets, and I've had no trouble. I still wash by hand sometimes if I have very few dishes, but when I've accumulated a decent amount of dirty dishes, I wash them in the dishwasher. It's such a joy to have a robotic kitchen. Kudos to the dishwasher manufacturers!

I never expected to install a full-size dishwasher in my small kitchen, even though I dreamed about it. You can dream forever, but I don't want to wash dishes by hand, so in the end, I opted for a slimline Bosch dishwasher. It's clear from the very first step that it's a true German product. The build quality is excellent, there's no hint of awkwardness, it works like a charm, and I'm very happy with the purchase.
Negative opinions

That's how I stumbled upon a German dishwasher. And the salesman was praising it so much, he was practically strutting around me. Oh well, that's a thing of the past, I was such a fool. I just want to warn you against making rash purchases. I only noticed one positive – the quiet operation; otherwise, I wasn't impressed with the machine.
- It doesn't clean pans and pots well even on the intensive mode with good tablets.
- Leaves a white residue on plates and glasses without rinsing them.
- It quickly gets clogged with food debris, even though I scrape off as much as I can from the dishes before putting them in the baskets.
I don't recommend this car to anyone, even though it's cheap. If you chase the cheap stuff, you'll end up losing.

A month of torment led to me arguing with the salesperson and returning the washing machine. It all started so well. My relatives gave me a tidy sum of money for my birthday, and I decided to splurge on a Bosch washing machine. I only had enough money for this model, but the salesperson assured me it was a good machine and I wouldn't regret it, but it turned out quite the opposite.
There is a very wise saying, "A miser pays twice," so I saved money and bought a cheap dishwasher so that I could wash the dishes by hand.

It seems the Germans have learned to assemble all sorts of "crap" for the Russian market. My brother has an even cheaper Chinese dishwasher, but it works like the best Swiss watch. I shouldn't have placed my hopes on the well-known Bosch brand, and now I'm left to deal with the consequences. This is the second time in three months I've sent it in for warranty repairs—first the heating element, and now the electronics—it's a complete disaster!
To summarize, we note that reviews of this dishwasher vary widely, but overall, positive ones outnumber the negative ones. We've included them equally in this publication to avoid the impression that we're either on the side of the manufacturer or against it. In such matters, we're on the side of truth and strive to stay on this thorny path!
