IKEA dishwasher reviews
IKEA appliances are becoming increasingly popular every year. Just a few years ago, the company produced only a few dishwasher models. Now, their selection has expanded significantly. What's the reason for this? Are IKEA dishwashers really as good as advertisers claim? We'd like to find out, and to do so, we'll read people's reviews.
Rengora
Ekaterina, Moscow
This is a full-size machine, 60 cm wide. It holds a ton of dishes, and everything comes out very clean. The noise insulation is decent; at least, it hasn't bothered me at all. The baskets are fine, even convenient. I usually put larger dishes in the lower basket and small items in the upper one. The manufacturer provides a 5-year warranty on the Rengora. It's been working flawlessly for a year now. I highly recommend it!
Elena, Rostov-on-Don
Although unassuming in appearance, this washing machine does its job perfectly. It's a built-in model, and it's worth noting that it was installed without any hassle. The door panel attaches to the door with just one easy movement and stays in place perfectly. A very respectable model.
- Excellent assembly, all parts fit together and the materials are of high quality.
- The electronics are reliable and do not fail even if there are problems with the power grid.
- A normal wash takes place at 65 degrees, which is quite normal to remove most of the dirt.
- Loading dishes is extremely easy due to the design of the baskets.
The baskets are specially shaped to accommodate as many standard dishes as possible. However, unusual items can be difficult to squeeze in.
- The warranty is 5 years, which I take as a good sign. Bad equipment doesn't get such a long warranty.
- She uses any dishwashing detergent. She only washed it poorly once due to some unknown reason. Econt tablets, so I don't buy them anymore.
I don't have much experience with this dishwasher yet; I've only had it for four months. But it's already clear that it's simply wonderful. I'm absolutely delighted!
Natalia, Tyumen
The car washes well, which is enough to give it three stars, but I don't understand why the manufacturer has implemented a delayed start in three-hour increments. It wouldn't be that hard to choose the exact hour; it would be more convenient. I also have some complaints about the cutlery basket. We usually end up with a huge pile of tablespoons, teaspoons, forks, and knives. This basket doesn't even hold half of them, so I have to put them in the bottom basket with the larger dishes, where they also get washed quite well. Based on the pros and cons, I give the Ikea Rengora a four.
Skinande
Larisa, Yekaterinburg
It's been less than two months since I bought my IKEA dishwasher, and I'm already wondering if I should have made the choice. Judge for yourself. Just yesterday, I cooked some rice porridge for my child in a small saucepan. The porridge didn't burn, and the saucepan didn't have time to dry out; I immediately put it in the dishwasher with the other dishes and ran the regular cycle. The dishwasher spent two and a half hours churning the dishes, and as a result, dried rice particles remained on the saucepan. I was very disappointed.
Now I'm experimenting, changing programs and detergents to figure out the cause of the poor cleaning results. If I figure out the dishwasher is the main culprit, then Skinande will go to the trash.
Alexander, Volgograd
A very good machine for a reasonable price. It's been in use for a year and a half now, and we've never had any major problems. We load it once a day in the evening to wash the accumulated dishes. One, the largest baking sheet, doesn't fit, so we have to wash it by hand, but everything else fits easily. I'm happy with this purchase.
Yuri, St. Petersburg
The dishwasher is large, but its capacity is a disaster. The space inside is poorly organized. There's room for regular plates, but there's practically no room for deep bowls, which are the majority of our household items. So you waste a ton of time sorting things out, and then the program takes almost three hours. It's easier to wash by hand. I don't recommend buying it!
Medelstor
Irina, Novosibirsk
This slim dishwasher works absolutely flawlessly. I really loved how the technicians installed it. It's hidden behind the countertop so it's completely unnoticeable, but the effect it creates is noticeable. The dishes are always absolutely clean, and the machine has never broken down in a year and four months of operation. It's quiet, has good wash cycles, and has a beeping sound when the program is finished. I'm absolutely satisfied with this machine, so I highly recommend it!
Alena, Omsk
Contrary to my expectations, the Medelstor dishwasher from Ikea turned out to be quite good. Despite being loaded with electronics, the machine seems very reliable and practical. It has a light on the floor that turns green when the wash cycle is complete. Excellent technology at a reasonable price.
Yana, Yekaterinburg
My husband and I used a Bosch dishwasher for a long time. We enjoyed it for about nine years, but then it broke. We didn't dare replace it with a Bosch because their machines are now made in Poland instead of Germany, which has significantly reduced the quality. We debated for a long time, and my husband scoured forums, gathered a ton of information, before we decided on a Medelstor dishwasher. It's an exceptionally good machine. It has a wide range of features and programs designed for different types of dirt. Five stars!

Hjalpsam
Oksana, Moscow
We stumbled upon a very affordable, narrow Elpsam dishwasher by chance. My husband was celebrating his anniversary, and my mother-in-law gave us some money for a dishwasher. We were told to get a dishwasher specifically. I was thrilled, and literally the next day we went shopping. We searched for a long time, but somehow we couldn't find anything decent. Then another chance came along: I ran into an old friend who, upon hearing we were looking for a dishwasher, suggested we go to IKEA and check out the Elpsam machines.
That's exactly what we did. The very next day, I was washing dishes in the new machine. At first, there were some minor issues with loading the dishes, but I quickly learned. Now everything goes like clockwork. I'm so glad it all worked out this way. Now my husband is also impressed; he's praising the dishwasher, even though he was categorically against buying one before. That's just the kind of men they are!
Polina, Novosibirsk
I got my first dishwasher back when I was living in a rented apartment. The hot water supply was intermittent, and washing dishes in icy water in the winter was less than enjoyable. Now I have an Elpsam dishwasher in my kitchen. It's not very well known, but it's a very good machine, made in Europe. It comes with a five-year warranty, which is great. If anything happens, you can count on free repairs. It washes dishes perfectly, not a single misfire in six months. I highly recommend it!
Yuri, Moscow
I'm happy with this car, it's good. It's much better than the old Indesit, which was a real pain in the neck. It's worth buying!

Lagan
Roman, Yekaterinburg
It's still not worth buying rare dishwashers. Now I understand that. My Lagan's circulation pump failed. I took it to a repair shop for warranty repairs, but the repair took almost three weeks due to a missing part. While the machine works, it's great, but as soon as it breaks, it becomes a problem.
Evgeniy, Moscow
I didn't like the machine. Firstly, its baskets are extremely inconvenient, and you can barely fit anything into them. Secondly, it doesn't dissolve the 3-in-1 tablets well. Thirdly, the wash quality isn't always satisfactory. I haven't used other Ikea dishwashers, but I can definitely say about this one: it's not worth the money!
Diana, Moscow
A full-size machine with a nice design and easy controls. There are some minor issues with the wash cycle, as it doesn't remove some dirt. Overall, the machine is good and cleans better than by hand. I initially used tablets, but then switched to powder. It's cheaper and the cleaning results are slightly better.
Enastoende
Tamara, Cheboksary
I can't imagine life without a dishwasher. Whenever I think about my allergies to detergents, I don't even want to go near the sink. Now I don't have any negative thoughts because the dishwasher does all the dirty work for me. And it does a good job, too; my dishes are sparkling clean.
Vladimir, Krasnodar
I was pleasantly surprised when I saw such a stylish dishwasher in my favorite store. It's full-size and holds a lot of dishes. I walked around it for about 10 minutes and then bought it. Some might criticize me for being frivolous, as it was a serious purchase, but I decided not to think too long and change my mind. It turned out to be a great purchase. The machine works perfectly, and I haven't noticed any flaws. Five stars!
Marina, St. Petersburg
Last year, I realized a long-held dream – I bought a dishwasher. It's an unusual model, called Enastoende, but the name didn't really grab me, but it doesn't matter what it's called; it's not a yacht. The main thing is that it cleans dishes properly, and this dishwasher does that flawlessly.
- It has six washing programs that need to be used depending on how dirty the dishes are.
- The basket located on top can be adjusted.
By rearranging the basket, you can achieve greater capacity. If you do this skillfully, you can even fit large baking sheets into the basket.
- There is complete protection against leaks.
- There is also a delayed start, which allows you to set a timer to start the machine at night.
- There is even a special program that optimizes the use of the 3-in-1 tablet.
In my opinion, this is a dream, not a machine. I'd be glad if my opinion means anything to you. I'm happy, and I want others to be happy with good technology.
Valgard
Pavel, Samara
The Valgard turned out to be a decent dishwasher, with a huge capacity. It's advertised as being able to wash 15 place settings at a time. I haven't tried loading it with that many dishes, and I doubt I have that many in my house, but it can handle a huge pile of dishes that wouldn't fit in the sink. Washes crystal clear, even thin glass. There are never any visible streaks, and the dishes don't smell, which means it rinses well. I recommend it!
Svetlana, Novosibirsk
This machine isn't for everyone, to put it mildly. It doesn't dissolve the tablet and cleans poorly. The baskets were designed by underdeveloped craftsmen; they're downright awkward. This machine doesn't hold a candle to Bosch. Don't buy it!
Galina, Moscow
I've been using this dishwasher non-stop for about two years now. I haven't found any flaws in that time. Maybe I just have nothing to compare it to, or maybe it's truly perfect. I give it a five!
