AEG l574270SL washing machine reviews

AEG l574270SL reviewsWashing machines assembled in Italy differ significantly in quality from those assembled in Russia or China. Expert reviews eloquently confirm this. The secret lies, firstly, in careful assembly using proven and reliable parts, and secondly, in meticulous quality control. A machine will never reach the store shelf until it passes rigorous testing. Take, for example, the AEG l574270SL washing machine: German parts and Italian assembly create a true technical masterpiece. Is this really true? Let's ask our customers.

Positive

Dmitry, Novosibirsk

I bought an AEG l574270SL a year and a half ago. It was a little cheaper back then, but still a hefty price. I bought it because I've been a long-time fan of the brand. The old AEG used to be in my parents' house. It's a long-lasting appliance, I'm not afraid to say. We even dropped the old AEG on the stairs when we moved, and it rolled down the stairs onto the landing. The only damage was to the appearance; after it was hooked up, it worked perfectly.

The AEG l574270SL is no worse in this regard, I'm sure, but I wouldn't drop it down the stairs just to experiment—it's too expensive. Why did I choose this particular model?

  1. In terms of cost, it fit into the budget I had planned for purchasing a washing machine.
  2. Its drum holds 6.5 kg of laundry, which is an acceptable figure for my family.
  3. It perfectly fulfills its main role – washes, rinses and spins.
  4. Items remain completely intact after washing.

Cheap washing machines often stain clothes with machine oil or tear them. I wouldn't wash my designer shirt in one of those.

  1. There is little noise from it.
  2. The range of programs is extremely well thought out; it couldn’t be better.

My wife complains that I could have bought a machine with a dryer for that money, but there’s no point in that dryer. You can't dry all your laundry in it - you'll ruin it, and buying it just for the sake of having it, well, that's not rational. In general, my wife grumbled, but agreed with my position, we are both happy with the purchase!

The washing machine is very good, the materials are high-quality – that's immediately noticeable. It works quietly, but effectively. Once, as an experiment, I set the spin speed to 1200 rpm, and the machine started to run noticeably louder, but when I closed the bathroom door, it became almost inaudible. Before that, we used LG F12B8WD8 washing machine, so you can close the bathroom door or not, like at an airport. The Italians know their stuff, I give them five stars.

I've been using the AEG l574270SL for almost a year now. I'm very happy with it. The machine performs well, washes even the most delicate items gently, doesn't buzz, rattle, or jump, and, most importantly, doesn't break. Once, a handful of coins got caught in the dust filter, but I dealt with it myself without calling a service center. Cleaning the filter is also very easy. It's a bit pricey, but I don't regret the money spent!

I've already shared my impressions of this washing machine, and now, a year later, I'm convinced it's the best machine out there. At least, I've never had such a good machine. You'll be surprised, but it washes wool and silk clothes brilliantly without damaging them. It's practically magical. It also has a stain removal program, and I can't even count how many beautiful items I've saved with it. If you can afford this machine, get it—you won't regret it!

Rustam, Makhachkala

It's a perfectly decent machine, but terribly expensive. I have no complaints about the machine's performance, and my wife is happy. I've seen her wash rugs in it a couple of times. I didn't know you could even wash rugs in a washing machine; it's a great help around the house. I vote yes!

The AEG l574270SL washing machine is really quiet, I have no complaints. It washed perfectly for about a year and a half. At the end of the second year, a bearing started humming. I was very surprised, because it's an AEG, and it's not exactly cheap—it's assembled in Europe, after all. I had to pay for the repairs myself. Luckily, I have a close friend who specializes in washing machine repair.

Over the weekend, he and I took the machine to the garage, where they disassembled it, cut open the tank (the AEG's tank is non-detachable), replaced the bearings, and screwed the two halves back together. We spent two days trying to save a $900 washing machine. I'm telling you this so people don't have any illusions about "reliable Italian appliances." It doesn't deserve more than a two-star rating.

To prevent the tank from falling apart, we coated its halves with sealant and then bolted them together. It holds water perfectly, and nothing else is needed.

I had no problems with my AEG l574270SL washing machine for a year and a half. Then it started malfunctioning occasionally. This is how it manifested itself:

  • First, the drum will spin several times at the very beginning of the program.
  • At the next stage, it begins to collect water and collects it to the maximum.
  • Then the machine drains the water and then fills it again.
  • After five to seven times of this type of typing and rinsing, the machine began to execute the program as needed.

The machine used to do this about once every three washes, but a month ago it started happening every wash. It wastes a huge amount of water. I'm incredibly upset; I'll have to call a repairman and pay him. I don't recommend this machine to anyone!

Rose, Rostov-on-Don

It only worked for seven months, then it stopped working. It's a good thing it wasn't under warranty, otherwise I would have had to pay for expensive repairs. The mechanics said that the control module needs to be replaced. I'm so angry at the manufacturer. How can AEG afford to make such equipment? It's a complete scam!

Lyudmila, Tomsk

Over the past year, the car has lost its appearance, and it's all because the sunroof cover is painted, not chromed. The Italians skimped on even this small detail, which is why they charge so much. I'd already come to terms with the appearance, but just yesterday I noticed water leaking from under the sunroof cover. It's most noticeable during the rinse cycle. I can't believe my eyes; I don't even know how to express my indignation!
