Reviews of the Beko WKB 51031 PTMA washing machine
Finding a washing machine for under $240 seems nearly impossible these days. After all, prices skyrocketed during the economic downturn. But if you don't panic and carefully review the offerings, you can find dozens of options within that price range. The Beko WKB 51031 PTMA front-loading washing machine is considered a good option, and we've compiled reviews for this post.

I didn't immediately believe that cheap Beko washing machines could be of good quality, but since we finally bought one, tempted by the low price and a mind-blowing 40% discount, we had to put it to the test. I wash everything in it, running it twice a day, and it still works. It's almost been a year since I've been torturing the machine. The last time it surprised me was when it washed heavy curtains.
I have had to push more laundry into the drum than its maximum load before and it washes fine.
At first, I didn't want to load both of them at once, but then laziness got the better of me; I didn't want to add an extra load. With a 5 kg load, both curtains washed, rinsed, and even spun perfectly. It looked like the washing machine should have stalled, but no, everything was fine! A month ago, a slight odor started coming from the drum. I looked online to prevent it from becoming a stench. How to clean a washing machine from odor and dirtI bought a pack of Dr. Beckmann's detergent. I did one empty wash with it, as instructed, and the smell disappeared. The washing machine is fantastic, five stars!

I have three children of different ages. As you can imagine, a lot of dirty laundry accumulates, so I have to run the washing machine more than once a day. The Beko has been working flawlessly for two years now, and I hope it continues to do so for many more years. When choosing a washing machine, I was guided by the following characteristics:
- warranty period;
- spin quality;
- the number and composition of washing programs;
- drum dimensions and its loading capacity;
- looked at how reliable the hatch was, whether it closed and opened well;
- Is there child protection?
This washing machine suits me perfectly. The low price was a bit of a bummer, but I didn't overthink it because I simply didn't have the money for a more expensive machine. I'm glad I got the washing machine right; without it, we'll be stuck washing by hand!

In my opinion, the manufacturer has significantly underpriced this washing machine. It's a very high-quality washing machine. Nothing is loose, all the parts fit perfectly, the door seal fits snugly, and even the door doesn't stick when opening. I was a little nervous before buying it because people on forums have written that this machine is very noisy and bounces around on the floor.
In reality, none of this is the case, perhaps because I paid such close attention to the installation process. I did everything myself: reinforced the floor, leveled it. When installing the washing machine, I unscrewed the feet so that it would stand strictly level, and I placed a special rubber mat under the body. Now you can only hear it when spinning, and even then, only if you turn it up to maximum. Otherwise, it's perfectly still. I recommend it to everyone!

I struggled with my Bosch washing machine for six months until I found a buyer and finally gave up on it. I bought a Beko instead and couldn't be happier. This is a washing machine, I wish there were more like it. It doesn't have any extra features, but it's also inexpensive. It washes thoroughly and well, perhaps unmatched in that department. The spin cycle isn't as good, but it's still fine. It's easy to maintain, doesn't require much maintenance, and I haven't even cleaned the filter in a year. I've forgotten about breakdowns, but I used to bypass all the repair shops with my Bosch.

We have a large-capacity Miele washing machine, and we're quite happy with it. But recently, I happened to find a big sale due to a home appliance store going out of business, and they offered me a Beko for half price. I didn't think twice about it; I bought it, as my wife had been asking for a washing machine for the dacha for a while.
The purchase cost me $135.
I thought I'd never been surprised by anything in life, but this machine truly amazed me. It actually does a better job than our Mila. It picks up all the detergent from the dispenser, cleans shoes beautifully, and there's also a convenient quick wash setting. I think I'll take this machine home and send Mila to the dacha—it'll be better off that way.

We're happy with the machine, but it's a shame the drum doesn't hold much laundry. It washes jackets well, but the spin is weak. In general, I've noticed that the larger the item, the worse the spin. The machine has a large number of useful programs and functions; my wife and I especially liked the pet hair cleaning function. After all, there are two cats in the house, and hair sticks everywhere, including on clothes. Overall, it's a great deal. The washing machine is very good.

Beko is the worst washing machine, and even the Indesit is much better. At least my old Indesit didn't hop around like a saiga in a pasture, even though they installed the Beko in exactly the same spot. Okay, so I gritted my teeth and resigned myself to the noise and vibration after two months, but a new problem has appeared – a terribly loud metallic grinding sound when the drum spins up. I feel like my new washing machine is finished. It's frustrating and disappointing, I'm not happy!

The machine didn't perform well right after I bought it. It wouldn't fill the tank, so I decided to investigate and discovered that the filter at the inlet, before the fill valve, was completely clogged with limescale and some kind of dirt. I should have returned the washing machine to the store after that, as this is very alarming: the machine is new, but the filter looked like it had been in use for two years. That's what a smart person would do, but I cleaned the filter and started washing as if nothing had happened.
I paid for my shortsightedness two years later. The water pump broke. I had to replace it out of pocket because the warranty was over, but luckily I'm a handyman. Then I replaced the filler valve, the locking system, and the heating element. Now it's the engine's turn! It's an unreliable car, now I understand that better than anyone!
It says the Beko heating element has special protection against scale. Don't believe this nonsense. When I took the heating element out, it was covered in a thick layer of scale, it looked terrible.

So I saved money, now all I can think of is curse words. Not only is the machine itself terrible, refusing to wash properly at all, but the salespeople are incompetent. A week later, I went to them and wanted to return it, as I had 14 days to do so. I presented a significant defect—a torn sunroof seal that wouldn't hold water. They told me the damage was my fault and that it wasn't a significant defect, so they wouldn't take the machine back.
I really wanted to punch them in the face, but after some thought, I decided to take our battle to court. I think the judge will figure out who's right and who's wrong.
