Candy VITA G374TM-7 Washing Machine Reviews

Candy VITA G374TM-7 reviewsTop-loading washing machines, especially Candy ones, aren't exactly popular with consumers. However, their numbers have been steadily growing in recent years. This means we need to take a closer look at these machines and find out what owners think of them. One of the most popular in this market segment is the Candy VITA G374TM 7. It's a very promising model in terms of technical specifications, with a fairly large load capacity for a top-loading machine—seven kilograms. Let's find out more about it.

This machine isn't cheap, but it's quite well made. The loading door is on top, which is convenient for me since I wasn't planning on installing it anywhere. It doesn't take up much space, which is a good thing since the bathroom is quite cramped. It wasn't very noisy during the wash cycle, but during the spin cycle, it was making the walls shake. I had to buy a new one. anti-vibration stands, which really helped reduce the noise.

What pleased me most was the large and spacious drum. You can wash jackets, blankets, pillows and duvets in it without any problems. Overall, I washed everything the labels said I could wash, with minimal effort. Of all the top-loading washing machines, Candy is almost the cheapest, and its quality and features are better than many, so I'm happy with it.

I was already thinking I'd have to give up on my dream of somehow fitting a washing machine into the bathroom. My apartment is pretty cramped, so I can't fit a washing machine in the hallway or kitchen, and I really didn't want to lug such a machine into the living room. What if there was a leak or something similar? A washing machine in the living room wasn't an option. That left the bathroom. There was a free corner there, but it was impossible to fit a front-loading machine.

We looked at different models, even compact ones, but nothing fit.

Candy VITA G374TM-7I had to, even though I didn't want to, look at top-loading models. The only one I could afford was the Candy, so I bought it because it fit perfectly. It turns out I was wrong not to want a top-loading model; this machine is fantastic. It washes perfectly, hasn't even had a single malfunction in a year, doesn't ruin laundry, has a seven-kg load capacity, and costs only $420. If only I'd known earlier, I wouldn't have struggled so much with the search.

A very successful model, perhaps the best of all my previous ones. It takes up little space, is quiet, has an automatic parking function, and convenient touch controls. The screen displays all the information I need. The only drawback seems to be that you can't place anything on top of the sunroof. The machine has been working flawlessly for ten months now.

This is an excellent washing machine. I debated for a long time whether to buy it or not. I wanted to read reviews online, but there were very few at the time. I bought it at my own risk, because even the salespeople couldn't say anything definitive about it. Now, after a year and a half of use, I can confidently say: it's a very good machine.

  1. It is quite reliable in operation; in 1.5 years it has never broken down, frozen, or chewed up laundry.
  2. It washes whites and colors very well. I've washed jackets, blended items, cotton, and more, and the results are always excellent. I use Tide and Ariel laundry detergents.
  3. It's very roomy and holds a lot of things. I need the capacity more for washing large items than lots of small laundry, but if you have a large family, this machine will be a lifesaver.
  4. It takes up little space. This machine is tall, yet narrow and shallow. Besides, with a front-loading washer, you always need to leave some space in front so the door can open. A top-loading washer can simply be stuffed into a closet, like I did, and you're good to go.

I have sewer and riser pipes running through my storage room, so there were no problems with the connection.

Negative

After purchasing the machine, I immediately discovered significant drawbacks. First, it's incredibly noisy, and it even tries to bounce around. I naively thought that top-loading washing machines were quieter, but this turned out to be a myth. Secondly, the machine does not take powder from the tray. I'm using the detergent according to the instructions, but the wash still runs without any detergent. After two weeks of use, I've realized the machine is faulty. I'll call a technician; maybe it's a malfunction.

Candy VITA G374TM-7 control panel

The machine is a complete piece of crap. It only ran smoothly once, but after the second wash, the control panel and some electronics burned out. The technicians took it to the service center, and for two months now, there's been "no response, no sign of anything." Now I'm filing a complaint with the service center. I knew beforehand that Candy doesn't make reliable equipment, but I bought it anyway, chasing the low price. I'll try to exchange this machine like any other one, and I'll be more careful in the future.

It's all rubbish. It's been working like a charm for two years. Wash every other day. Much better than the vaunted AGE. It fell apart after three years.

After 11 months of use, both hubs fell apart, even the balls fell out of the bearings. It's good they repaired them under warranty. I don't know how long they last with new ones.

I've never seen a more disgusting washing machine. We bought a Candy top-loading 8 kg machine. The detergent drawers don't wash out, and the hinges holding the lid rust. It also creates snags in clothes during washing! I wholeheartedly do not recommend this machine!
