Many modern users of automatic washing machines deliberately avoid buying washing machines assembled in Russia, China, or Ukraine due to their supposedly low quality. Instead, they pursue European-made appliances, such as the Electrolux EWT1064ERW top-loading washing machine. This machine, frankly, isn't cheap, averaging around $670, and it's assembled in Poland. Is this washing machine really that good? Let's find out with experienced users.

I bought this washing machine as a gift for my wife. I was specifically looking for a top-loading European model; a front-loading model simply wouldn't fit in our bathroom. I installed it myself, strictly according to the rules: I reinforced the floor, installed the utilities, leveled the cabinet, and even...anti-vibration stands I put it under the feet. It didn't work out so well. The machine works fine, the wash is good, nothing to complain about, but the noise is just monstrous. The walls by the bathroom are thin, so you can hear the machine throughout the entire apartment.

There are no installation errors on my part; I and my fellow technicians have already verified this. It looks like the problem is with the washing machine.

I'm very disappointed because I don't like unnecessary noise, especially when I'm sleeping during the day after a night shift, but my wife liked the machine, she says it's roomy, washes and spins well.

The machine attracted me with its low price, appearance, vertical loading, the presence of a normal display, and also a time manager. The car is well-assembled, nothing is loose anywhere, the plastic doesn’t bend, everything looks reliable, and it was also assembled in Europe. The hatch cover is convenient and doesn't stick, and the drum doors are well-designed. The drum capacity is stated as 6 kg, but it feels like it's actually a little less; I figured this out through trial and error.

The washing machine turned out to be unexpectedly noisy. When spinning at 1000, the machine literally takes off—or so it seems, because the washing machine sits rooted to the spot—but the noise is simply horrific. The detergent drawer is fine, I'd even say convenient; when I bought it, I thought it would be worse. The control panel is beautiful and functional, with all the washing progress information displayed on the screen. Overall, it's a decent machine!

A year ago, I bought this washing machine on sale as a gift for my mom. I kept it in the garage for two months, still in its packaging, hoping to surprise her. She was so happy with the gift. We thought she'd have trouble learning the new appliance, but no, she learned in three days. I specifically bought a model with a top hatch so my mom, with her sciatica, wouldn't have to bend over too much. The machine works flawlessly, and the wash quality is excellent!

I had a hard time with my old Candy washing machine. I counted the eight breakdowns in six years of use, and we wasted a ton of money on repairs. That's all in the past now. With the Electrolux EWT1064ERW, I've had no such problems. It's been running like a charm for a year and a half now. It's perfectly balanced; even when you load a lot of laundry into the drum and turn on the high-speed spin cycle, the drum barely wobbles, only vibrating slightly.

Before purchasing this machine, I read reviews, and it turns out people were unhappy with the small drum capacity. Personally, I'd say the capacity is perfect, as you can wash even large items like blankets, duvets, jackets, pillows, and more. I give it a five-star rating!

After three months of using the washing machine, a strange whistling noise started, apparently coming from the motor. It's not too annoying so far, but I think it's a sign of trouble. I won't bother fixing it myself; I'll call a repairman. Otherwise, the machine is great, especially the rinse cycle. Even low-quality washing powder rinses out perfectly.

Another advantage is that the drum doors open smoothly, without jamming.

The Electrolux EWT1064ERW is my favorite washer, which arrived by chance in June 2016. We were delighted with the machine, which fit neatly between the sink and the wall, so we didn't have to remodel the bathroom. My husband didn't spend much time fiddling with the connections either, so within an hour of the washing machine's delivery, I was already loading a test load of old towels into the drum.

The first wash immediately showed that the machine was doing a fantastic job. Old, dirty towels came out perfectly, and some looked like new. It took a while to get used to the unusual load of laundry and detergents, but then everything fell into place. Girls, you have no idea how happy I am with this machine. I think it's 100 times better than any other. I will never again use washing machines with a front hatch, only now I understand how inconvenient it is.

The Electrolux EWT 1064 ERW washing machine is reliable, easy to use, washes well, and looks good, perfect for any decor. I'm not particularly fond of the wash programs; most of them are unnecessarily long. It's a bit noisy, but it's a specific noise and doesn't bother me. I wouldn't normally buy it; it's too expensive, but I got it with a 40% discount, so it worked out alright.

This washing machine with a KAMAZ engine is terrible. My grandfather's grain crusher in the village makes the same noise. I don't know what kind of hands those Poles used to assemble it, but I'll be getting rid of this washing machine soon, and I don't recommend you buy it.

   The car isn't very good. It's beautiful, yes. But for the past five years, my neighbors always knew we were wearing it out. It made noise like a tractor from the start. Until the bearing fell apart. I don't recommend it. The Poles put it together!
