Hansa AWB510lH Washing Machine Reviews

Hansa AWB510lH reviewsThe Hansa AWB510lH washing machine is often found in large hypermarkets selling home appliances. It's a budget-friendly machine, so it's always available, but that doesn't mean we should buy it. A smart consumer won't base their choice solely on price, so we'll be looking at reviews. We hope they'll shed some light on whether we should buy the Hansa AWB510lH or let it continue to gather dust on the store shelf.

Positive

Nina, Yekaterinburg

Overall, I liked the machine, although I'll reserve final judgment for now as I'm still exploring it. For now, I'll share my preliminary findings.

  1. The machine saved me a little useful space, literally a couple of centimeters due to its shortened body, but these centimeters turned out to be very useful, it barely fit into the corner of the bathroom.
  2. The washing machine is quite attractive in appearance; in any case, it doesn’t spoil the bathroom design, although a display would be useful.
  3. It works very quietly, it's even surprising.
  4. It's pretty well protected against leaks; at least, it comes with a standard drip tray with a sensor. If water suddenly spills where it shouldn't, the machine will shut it off.
  5. The controls, although electronic, are quite primitive; anyone can learn them quickly.
  6. The drum is frankly small, only 5 kg.

From experience, I can say that modern machines with a load capacity of less than 6 kg are not functional, largely due to the fact that you cannot wash large items in them.

  1. There's a child lock, but it's pretty tricky. I once accidentally set it, and then I couldn't take it off for a while.

This washing machine also spins well. The laundry is dry after washing, and the spinning process itself is non-aggressive. Even delicate fabrics don't get damaged after this spin cycle, which makes me very happy as a housewife. Well, I'll keep monitoring my new washing machine and sharing my impressions with you.

At first, I had mixed feelings about this washing machine. Now I've gotten used to it and I can even say I've come to love it. It's quite quiet; when you close the bathroom door, it feels like the machine is off. You can't select a separate rinse or drain cycle, which is a bit annoying, but you can't expect much from a budget washing machine. It does a decent job, I wouldn't even try to find fault with that. That's probably its main advantage, along with the low price.

After using the machine for a year and a half, I haven't found any significant flaws. There were a few minor issues, for example, during installation, I was surprised to discover that the kit didn't include a wrench for adjusting the feet. It's quite disappointing that the manufacturer is so meticulous that they even skimped on the wrench. The standard hose is also a bit short, so I had to buy a longer one.

Some time has passed, the installation is forgotten, and the unpleasant impressions from this installation have also faded. Now the machine is my best friend. It performs its function perfectly, with no glitches or malfunctions. So I give it top marks, and it's worth buying!

Maxim, Magnitogorsk

I bought it on the cheap, it's a decent car, the build quality is excellent. I think all the criticism is bullshit; someone wanted to show off, so they're slandering a good car. It washes my clothes like a laundress, no complaints!

Yana, Moscow

It's simple, quiet, and washes much better than my old one, which ended up in the trash a month ago. It takes out the detergent and fabric softener separately. The technicians give it good reviews. I'm very happy!

Negative

Ivan, Khabarovsk

This washing machine has no advantages, although no, it does have one advantage – the cost, but what's the point?

  • Firstly, the machine doesn’t take any powder, no matter how much you pour in, it’s no use, almost all of it remains in the tray.
  • Secondly, the laundry doesn’t wash out, it spins for two hours, and it feels like you just soaked it in a basin with water.
  • Thirdly, the hatch is hard to open and close. Throw the washing machine in the firebox; you don't need one like that.

Oksana, Murmansk

The machine isn't even worth that little money, since it was clearly assembled haphazardly. The bastards at the store even had a promotion, 35% off this machine, and I fell for it. It washes terribly, and there's a strange noise when the drum spins. I'll try returning it to the store, I hope they don't take it.

Why am I being punished like this? This is my second washing machine, and it's even worse than the first. My first one was a Samsung, and I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. It broke down four times. My Hansa has already broken down twice in three months—an absolute record. I read about...Who is the manufacturer of Hansa washing machines? I had doubts about the brand's cleanliness. Now I discourage everyone from buying Hansa appliances, but maybe I was just unlucky.

First, Hansa's powder dispenser started leaking. My husband sealed the crack with sealant, then the pump failed. What's next?

When we first bought the washing machine, it had a strong smell of cheap plastic coming out of the hatch, sometimes so strong that the entire bathroom was filled with this smell. I called the store, and the manager told me it happens, saying the washing machine is new and will air out over time. I've been waiting for three months now, and nothing's changed. What's more, the laundry has started smelling like plastic. So that's how I made my purchase!

I ordered this washing machine online with a 25% discount. I was thrilled at first. It washes well, doesn't use much detergent, and is economical. My joy ended when I started the wash cycle a month ago. Five minutes later, something started puffing inside the machine, a smell of wiring appeared, and the lights went out throughout the house. I sent it in for warranty repairs and can't wait for it to be fixed; they promised it would be next week. I wash by hand!

I bought this washing machine two years ago when I was living in a small apartment. It's no good even for a bachelor's apartment. It washes poorly and breaks down frequently—the worst possible outcome. Even if you fix it yourself, it's expensive because the parts aren't cheap. Calling a repairman is a total disaster. I'd give this machine a one out of five!
