Utilities are simply exorbitant these days. The amount I have to pay for electricity, water, gas, and garbage collection is simply horrific. As a pensioner, I already have it tough in Moscow; life is expensive, and now utilities are going up. A month ago, my washing machine broke. Faced with yet another significant expense, I was very upset. Luckily, my son, my hope and support, gave my mother a gift – a Hotpoint Ariston RST 703 DW.

He chose the washing machine himself; I didn't even have anything to do with it. I came home from the dacha and it was already plugged in.

It works great, even washes bed linen so well that you can’t find fault. It's convenient and easy to use, and most importantly, it helps save on electricity, water, and detergent. I'd already started noticing the difference myself, and then I came across an article online that talked about my machine, among other things, and how economical it is.

A month has passed, and I meticulously calculated how much money I've saved on water, detergent, and electricity thanks to the machine. It came out to $2.09: $0.22 on electricity, $0.65 on water, and a whopping $1.22 on detergent (because I now use half as much). It may not seem like much, but if all the appliances in your home are energy-efficient, you'll have a tidy sum left over at the end of the month, which you can put to good use.

I've had this washing machine for a year. During that time, I've tested it in every way possible, and I have only good things to say about it. If you asked me to list its shortcomings, I'd be hard-pressed to do so. I don't know anything about its weaknesses. I can, however, say a lot about its advantages.

1. A slim body, yet a wide hatch and a capacious 7 kg drum. A surprising combination.
2. A very beautiful design. You can see it for yourself just by looking at this machine.
3. Excellent spin and rinse cycles, and a normal wash cycle. The spin cycle is adjustable, and the rinse cycle can also be made more intense.
4. Significant savings on electricity, water and detergents.
5. Convenient and easy to operate.
6. A digital display that displays a large amount of useful information.
7. It has leakage protection, child protection, and foam level control.

As you can see, the machine isn't overloaded with everything, but it does have enough features and programs I really need. Speaking of programs, I like the quick wash, stain removal, super rinse, and baby clothes programs. They're all very good programs, each with its own unique features. When you set the super rinse, the machine uses quite a lot of water, significantly increasing water consumption, but the results are fantastic. The detergent rinses out perfectly; even allergy sufferers will appreciate it. Five stars!

We needed a washing machine with a narrow frame and a relatively large load capacity. The narrow frame was needed to fit under the kitchen counter, and the large load capacity was needed to wash large items. My husband also insisted on a reliable machine, but it's impossible to check that in a store, and reliable machines are no longer available.

We also wanted the top cover of the machine to be removable, since the height is tight and if the legs are unscrewed too much during the leveling process, the machine will not fit under the countertop.

We got what we wanted very quickly. The installation specialists delivered the Hotpoint Ariston RST 703 DW and got it ready for use. And now, our new "home assistant" is up and running. You can't imagine how pleased I am. It has everything we need, yet it's quite attractive and fits perfectly into our kitchen design. It's quite narrow, has easy-to-use controls, and a decent selection of functions and programs. My favorite feature is the Super Rinse function. Turning it on really improves the washing results. I give it top marks!

You probably won't find a better washing machine for this price, according to people's reviews. You could get a crappy one. Indesit BWSA 61051, as the salesperson at the store suggested, but its design and functionality won't be the same. You'll save a fair amount, though. The Hotpoint Ariston RST 703 DW is very well built, with no loose parts, and the drum spinning at high speeds makes no unnecessary noise. In my opinion, it's worth buying.

My first experience with the Hotpoint Ariston RST 703 DW washing machine wasn't very successful. It was making a lot of noise, rattling, and jumping around on the floor. It also froze constantly, and the display kept flashing errors. The problem was quickly resolved. It turns out my husband forgot to remove the shipping bolts when installing the machine and didn't even level the frame properly. The technician who came to help did everything correctly, and the machine started working perfectly right away.

The drum rotates smoothly, and the wash cycle is excellent, even for almost any item. I recently washed wool items, even though it said they weren't machine washable. The results were excellent; nothing was stretched out, everything was perfectly tucked in. The machine is very gentle on my clothes, for which I'm very grateful.

This was our first washing machine, and we immediately encountered a manufacturing defect. We washed for just one week, and the motor burned out. Everything would have been fine, but now we're forced to sue the service center for unreasonably delaying repairs. Terrible situation, terrible machine!

Four months have already passed, and we are still sitting without a washing machine, waiting for repairs and writing complaints.

I made a huge mistake buying this washing machine. It washes really badly, and that's because the water doesn't drain into the detergent drawer, or at least it doesn't drain well. Almost all the powder I put in the tray stays in place. I tried pouring detergent directly into the drum, and it helped; it washes much better. But it can't continue like this.

The machine is very finicky. It only washes well if you arrange the laundry perfectly inside the drum. It doesn't dissolve all types of detergent, so I have to buy expensive ones. The washing programs are very long, and the electronics keep glitching. In short, the washing machine is poorly designed and unreliable; it barely does its job!
