I was able to buy this machine on sale online a month ago for only $216. It was delivered quickly, but I had to wire it up myself. It's not that complicated, so my husband did it all himself. It looks very elegant, unlike Indesit IWSD 51051My mom bought it last year. I'm not even sure why it looks so expensive, but it's probably the design of the door, control panel, and display. I also like the Hotpoint Ariston WMSF 6038 B CIS better than the Indesit because:

• It has a reliable hatch cover that opens easily and conveniently;
• It has a deep loading hatch with a cuff located at an angle, which prevents small items of laundry from clumping together near the hatch cover or sticking to it;

The cuff is designed so that almost no water accumulates in it. After washing, you don't even need to wipe it down; I just leave the hatch open for two hours, and the elastic dries.

• It has powerful and heavy counterweights, cleverly positioned inside the body, which makes the machine more stable and less noisy.

My mom's Indesit bounces around the bathroom like a saiga, while my Ariston sits stock still, even when I spin it at 1000 rpm. I won't even mention the noise, because mine is significantly quieter. It feels like every detail has been thought through in this machine. The feet are rubberized from the factory, meaning you don't have to buy separate rubber pads. The door handle is large and sturdy; just pull it and the door opens. The outer body elements fit together perfectly, with no unnecessary gaps or protrusions. I haven't looked inside yet, but I imagine it's the same. It washes beautifully, and there's nothing to complain about, so I give it a five!

There's a good program called "Prewash," which I use when I need to wash something really dirty. I could go on and on about my favorite "home helper," but I don't want to bore you. Believe me, it's a decent machine, even if it's inexpensive.

I use half as much powder as the manufacturer recommends, and the result is exactly the same. So why waste the product?

   It also broke and stopped heating. Just a month after the warranty expired. We used the softener filter right after buying it.
