While some consumers are quite satisfied with them, there are also many critics who claim these machines are of very low quality, wash poorly, and break down quickly. This time, we've turned our attention to the Indesit IWSC 61051 washing machine and asked users to rate it.

For the price, it's a great machine and quite reliable. At least, I haven't had any problems in two and a half years. I hardly used it the first year, I was always traveling on business, then got married a year and a half ago, and now we run the machine every other day. The washing machine's main advantages are its drum, which can hold up to 6 kg of laundry, and its 1000 rpm spin. The wash quality is average; I've used machines that did better in the past.

The machine doesn't rinse out the powder very well, so we have to set it to a second rinse cycle, especially when washing baby clothes.

It's an inexpensive washing machine with a decent capacity, which is actually why I bought it. You can adjust the spin speed; I usually set it to 800 RPM, rarely setting it to 1000 RPM. The water heating temperature can also be adjusted, which is also good, because many Indesit machines cannot be adjusted. The washing machine is silent, and you can barely hear it during the spin cycle. There are plenty of programs, so it's easy to choose the right one depending on the fabric type. It's also attractive; I've been using it for ten months now and have had no problems.

When I bought this machine two years ago, I was very surprised by how low the price was and how good the features were. Specifically, it's spacious—it holds 6 kg of laundry, the spin cycle is decent, and there are plenty of programs. We do a lot of laundry. Over three years, I've probably washed 20 tons of laundry, after all, with four kids. And the machine hasn't even frozen once, which surprises me, because my old Electrolux was always breaking down. I honestly didn't think a cheap washing machine would be better quality than an expensive one; I guess I'm just missing something in life. Maybe I just got lucky. I bought this washing machine because of its low price and because it was the right size, or more precisely, depth. I like the controls; they're easy to use and offer a lot of flexibility. The thermostat is also great: if you want to wash in cold water, you simply set it to the "snowflake" setting; if you want the water almost boiling, you set it to 90 degrees. The same goes for the spin cycle: you can set it to no spin, or you can choose a speed up to 1000 rpm. I take good care of the machine, so there's no mold or dirt inside. Five stars for quality!

After two months of use, this machine immediately developed a problem: it was taking a long time to fill with water. When I started investigating the problem, it turned out the inlet valve wasn't opening properly, so I had to replace it. Six months later, the washing machine stopped draining because the pump had failed.

It makes a terrible noise when you set the spin to 1000 rpm, and the furniture around the washing machine starts to “talk in different voices.” The washing quality is average, but there have been incidents; a month ago the machine tore a new duvet cover. I don't even understand how it happened. My wife is yelling at me, making me sell the car. It looks like I'll have to, and it hasn't even been running for a year. So we saved money, protected the family budget, and outsmarted ourselves.

At first, we really liked the machine. It seemed easy to use, washed well, and held a large load. The price was also low. However, after six months, problems started. First, during the spin cycle, we started hearing a clanking sound as iron hit iron. Then the clanking became constant, and recently, a terrible metallic clanking sound has accompanied the drum's rotation. We called a repairman, who told us the bearings had failed, requiring expensive repairs. Now my husband and I are debating what to do; it seems cheaper to replace the machine.
