When you look at the Indesit NWSK 8128 L washing machine, you can't help but think: this is what a next-generation washing machine should look like. Indeed, its technical specifications are impressive: a drum with a capacity of 8 kg, electronic controls, a display, a spin speed of up to 1200 rpm, leak protection, and 16 excellent washing programs. And now for the most important part.

Competitors' machines with similar specifications start at $400, while the Indesit will set you back $240. Attractive? Of course, but there's one caveat: what's the quality of this machine? That's a crucial question, and we'll be looking for answers from consumers who have already experienced this "home assistant."

I could only dream of such a car; I didn’t think I would be able to buy it so cheaply. Its main advantage is its huge drum, which can accommodate two jackets or one huge blanket at once. I won't even mention regular laundry; it's clear you can stuff it in a whole bunch. The wash cycle is almost silent, as are the water intake and rinsing cycles, but when spinning at 1200 rpm, you can hear the machine even with the bathroom door tightly closed. It might scare a small child, but our kids are grown, so there haven't been any issues. I highly recommend it!

It's a tolerable unit, of course, I expected better, but I can't complain. As for the positives, I can point out:

• large drum for 8 kg;
• quiet operation;
• high quality linen care;
• normal powder receptacle;
• self-cleaning capability;
• protection against leaks.

But I'll definitely mention the downsides, too. They're a real fly in the ointment. Firstly, the Indesit draws little water during the wash and rinse cycles. It feels like the laundry is just hanging there without any water.

Particularly noticeable is the small amount of water used during rinsing, which results in powder residue on items.

Secondly, some programs behave strangely. The machine does random things: first it fills with water, then immediately drains it, then fills again and starts washing. It's unclear why it does this. The washing time is clearly being unnecessarily prolonged. I would recommend this washing machine, but the aforementioned issues should be kept in mind.

This brand's washing machine broke all records, running for 30 minutes after being plugged in. Luckily, the installers recommended by the store hadn't left yet. We processed a return right away. Apparently there was something wrong with the electronics, because everything went dark in a second, then the drum stopped spinning, and the water got stuck. I still don't know what happened, so I paid extra for a replacement. LG FH2G6WDS7 washing machine, now I can wash without any worries or troubles.

I'm 100% satisfied with the machine; if they'd built in a dryer, it would have been worth the $330. The build quality is decent, and my husband, who's an expert on this type of machine, approves. I like the "Delicates" program; it feels like a gentle hand wash. The machine looks expensive and has a very interesting design. I like the wide door, which allows you to throw laundry in while you're on the go. I'm very happy with the purchase!

I guess this is normal for Indesits, so I blame myself more for my lack of foresight. The first three months the machine worked perfectly, no complaints, and I was even delighted with its user-friendly controls. Now my opinion has changed completely.

The first warning sign was a heating element failure, which occurred at the end of the machine's third month of operation. We only used it twice a week. The heating element was replaced free of charge, so I forgot about it for a long time. But then, in February of this year, a second failure occurred, much more serious than the first. The warranty had already expired, and the repairs would cost about $70, according to the service center. So, the machine is now sitting in the garage, waiting for better times.

The manufacturer lied about the hatch diameter. They should have stated the lid is 49 cm, but the hatch itself is only 32.5 cm. It's still not bad, but the blatant lies from a reputable manufacturer in the technical documentation are a bit disconcerting. Otherwise, I have no complaints about the machine. I've been using it for eight months and am incredibly happy, especially with the large 8 kg drum.

Also, quite often the hatch cover gets stuck when opening.

I finally replaced my washing machine, fortunately the new one was so cheap. I was surprised by the size of this washing machine; it fit perfectly in the place of my old Candy with a 4 kg drum. This one has an 8 kg load capacity and the same dimensions. I have no complaints about the washing machine; everything is perfect. Sometimes it doesn't pick up the detergent well, but that's a minor issue. I love the odor-removing mode; it can quickly freshen up a few clothes. My feedback is rave!
