LG F10B8ND Washing Machine Reviews

LG F10B8ND reviewsLG washing machines are renowned for their reliability. Users readily choose these Korean-brand machines, especially since their prices are far from prohibitive. A prime example of this is the LG F10B8ND. Simple and reliable, it has a 6 kg drum capacity, allowing you to wash large items without any problems, yet it costs just under $400.

Okay, let's not sing this machine's praises, especially since our primary goal is to find out what consumers who have already used it actually think. Customer reviews will help us create a true assessment of the LG F10B8ND washing machine, so we take collecting such reviews very seriously.

Technical parameters

Overall, this washing machine's technical specifications are fairly standard. It has a maximum drum load of 6 kg, a maximum drum speed of 1000 rpm, and spin modes of 400/800/1000 rpm. Additionally, it features:

  • 13 washing programs;
  • delayed launch up to 19 hours;
  • 6th sense;
  • automatic weighing of laundry;
  • easy ironing;
  • cooling water before discharge.

The maximum noise level during spinning is 74 dB, which is quite normal for a modern washing machine. It's not quiet, but it won't be excessively noisy either.

These are truly standard specifications; some might even call them outdated, as LG washing machines already had these technical characteristics in the mid-2000s. But if you're not looking for innovation, this machine is a solid, high-quality home washing machine that's not something you'd dream about—everyone can afford one.

It's worth remembering that the kit includes a highly reliable direct-drive inverter motor and an imbalance control system, which significantly extends the life of your washing machine. Experts rate LG washing machines highly in general, and this model in particular, but we're more interested in the opinions of ordinary people. Let's take a look.

User opinions

Oh, how long I searched for a machine like this, I tried five different ones. I even made my own rating. This one is closer in quality to the LG, which, by the way, tops my rating. Miele washing machineThe rest isn't worth mentioning. Maybe I just came across the wrong models, I don't know, but I've formed an opinion, and my personality is such that it's unlikely anyone will convince me otherwise.

I chose the LG F10B8ND because it has all the necessary functionality at a low price. The drum doesn't damage laundry, and the wash quality is excellent. There are some complaints about the spin quality, but over time I realized that you need to select the optimal washing mode for the specific fabric, and then everything will be fine.

If you need to show off in front of your friends, buy a Miele PW 6080 for the price of a used foreign car. And if you need a hard worker that will wash clothes quickly and safely for 10-15 years, choose the F10B8ND from the Korean brand LG. As I write this, I catch myself thinking that it sounds like an advertisement. But guys, I can personally endorse every word of this, having tested this machine myself. And if you asked all my numerous relatives, you'd get enough signatures to fill a 12-page notebook.

I did some calculations in my spare time and it turned out that 36 people in my immediate family alone use different LG brand washing machines.

Over the years of using LG washing machines, I've discovered a few of their "problems," which, unfortunately, seem to be inherited from model to model, and for some reason the manufacturer doesn't pay attention to them. First, there's the vibration. Even I understand that I should simply add weight to the machine, which will make it a bit heavier but will provide the necessary additional stability. Second, there's the door. The door latch is a bit flimsy. After a while, I have to push the door open with my foot to start the wash. This is no good!

And thirdly, the door seal isn't properly fitted. This can cause leaks, although this isn't the main problem. Most often, the door remains sealed, but small items slip through the rubber seal into the gap between the tub and the drum. This isn't such a problem with other machines, but I can tell you for sure: if you use an LG machine, get a laundry bag for small items. You can't do without one! Overall, the machine is very good; for me, it's the best. Its shortcomings are insignificant to me; I simply don't notice them.

I didn't like the machine right away, because the electronics started malfunctioning within the first month. The washing machine kept displaying one error code or another, preventing me from starting a wash. I had to call a repairman, but fortunately it was under warranty, and he fixed it for free. The washing quality is average and lousy, so if I had the opportunity, I would order a different machine. The seller is a jerk! Don't fall for their tricks!

Tatiana, Moscow

This is simply an excellent washing machine, a dream come true for any homemaker. It doesn't have any fancy design or technical bells and whistles, but it washes beautifully, rinses well, and the spin cycle is simply divine. Those Koreans are great at making great equipment. I give this model an A+ without a second thought!

So, all things being equal, the vast majority of reviews online about this washing machine are positive. Therefore, taking into account the opinions of experts, we can conclude that this is truly a good machine, and one that you can confidently choose. Good luck!
