Miele WDA 101 reviewsA high-quality, full-size washing machine assembled in Germany for around $850. Is that even possible? Take a look at the Miele WDA 101 washing machine; it offers excellent functionality, high-quality components, and genuine German manufacturing. Let's check out the customer reviews and then buy it.

Men's opinions

Evgeniy, Omsk

I spotted this washing machine a year ago at a large home appliance store. All the salespeople were busy, so I started researching its specifications and, within just 15 minutes, I wanted this "home helper" in my bathroom. Judge for yourself.

  1. The load capacity is a whopping 7 kg. That's not a record at the moment, but I wasn't chasing records. I just realized that in such a large drum you can easily wash a blanket, jacket, comforter, pillows, and any other large washable items. The exception is large rugs and other oversized textiles, which are washed in specialized equipment.
  2. Controlled spin speed up to 1400 rpm. The speed can be adjusted as desired and even changed during the program.
  3. Complete leak protection. This means everything in this machine is protected. Even if a water hammer causes the hose to burst in three places, not a drop of water will leak onto the floor.

If the leak protection on the inlet or drain hose is triggered, it will have to be replaced.

  1. 21 washing modes. Each program is intelligently designed, so there are no unused ones. Personally, I've used each of these programs at least once.
  2. Excellent quality of washing, rinsing and spinning. After using Mile, your clothes don't smell like powder because the machine rinses them thoroughly in a large amount of water. Miele WDA 101 Classic – saves resources wisely without compromising the quality of laundry care.
  3. The tank of this machine is not plastic like all the others, it is made of high-quality German stainless steel, just like in the good old days.

Miele WDA 101I'll also say that this washing machine is very energy efficient. It's rated A+++, which is very good. So, having decided to buy it, I waited for the salesperson, paid $833, and declined delivery because I'd driven to the store in a minivan, and my older brother was my assistant.

That was reckless of me. A typical modern automatic washing machine weighs an average of 60 kg. The Miele WDA 101 weighs 94 kg, a figure I didn't even notice in the specifications. I paid for my carelessness with a sore back, but that's beside the point. The machine's weight is only a disadvantage when carrying it, but during operation, it makes it more stable. Powerful counterweights prevent the machine from vibrating or swaying, and overall, they make the "home helper" much quieter.

Now, after some time, I'm convinced I've bought a truly amazing car. My heart sank when I first saw it. There's just one thing that bothers me: why didn't the manufacturer include a child safety lock for such a cool car? In my opinion, that's a huge oversight. Otherwise, everything is great, five stars!

Alexander, Yekaterinburg

Before going to the store to buy a washing machine, I scoured a bunch of forums, talked to experts, read articles on various websites, and decided to buy a European-made washing machine. I really liked it. AEG AMS7000U, but after reading more about it, I realized I'd better look elsewhere. Ultimately, I got the Miele WDA 101 in my bathroom. In short, I'm incredibly happy. My clothes are perfectly clean after washing in this machine, and I've also noticed that they don't get damaged at all.

I used to have a Samsung washing machine. After a while, the sweaters and shirts I washed regularly in it would curl up, and a little later, they would rip. The Miele is gentle on clothes, and as a result, they last much longer. I used to completely replace all my shirts in my wardrobe about every two years. Now, I have shirts that are four years old and still look like new. Draw your own conclusions. Yes, I paid a pretty penny for the machine, but the money I've saved on clothes over two years is countless. The Miele WDA 101 is definitely worth the money, no matter what anyone says.

An excellent German-made machine. Quality is evident throughout, and I think it will last at least 15 years, but that's not the most important thing. The main thing is that the machine washes great, but it doesn't look very good. In my opinion, it's too bulky and heavy, but that's not a negative, as the extra weight provides stability. The machine is more resistant to the negative effects of centrifugal force. It also has a beautiful display and easy controls. I highly recommend it!

Valery, Novosibirsk

The Miele WDA 101 faithfully fulfills its primary function. It washes efficiently and without any gimmicks, and if the machine washes well, you don't even need detergents with optical brighteners. Personally, when I bought this washing machine, I stopped buying expensive detergent for my washing machine altogether. I buy a cheaper one, and the results are always excellent. The machine has a few drawbacks: the high price, the rather large size, and the weight. These drawbacks don't bother me, so I give it the highest rating.

Yuri, Tomsk

I bought this washing machine 2.5 years ago. I haven't had a single complaint, not even the slightest. It's a wonderful, reliable, and quiet model. I use it about three times a week, sometimes washing shoes and outerwear. I highly recommend it.

When this machine first arrived in our home, I almost scolded my husband for the unreasonably high price, considering it could be purchased for half the price. Moreover, its functionality, at first glance, seemed meager. In fact, this is only an illusion. The factory programs can be customized with user settings, which greatly expands the machine's capabilities. Overall, it will take at least six months to fully understand the Miele WDA 101, but then you'll be truly satisfied.

Larisa, St. Petersburg

I really wanted a Miele washing machine, but they're so expensive, since they're assembled primarily in Germany. About a year ago, I stumbled across a Miele WDA 101 in a store and bought it almost immediately. This machine has no equal in terms of wash quality—at least, none that I know of. It has a large load capacity, easy operation, and genuine German reliability. Five stars!

Miele WDA 101 even looks powerful and reliable.

Elena, Rybinsk

It's a good machine, it's been working for me for many years. Washes a lot and gently, uses little powder. It's assembled in Germany from high-quality parts and built to last. I'm so glad I got it, as it's quite expensive.
