Siemens WS10G240OE Washing Machine Reviews
The Siemens brand produces well-known German appliances, which for many have become the epitome of reliability. Retailers take advantage of this, charging exorbitant prices for household appliances. A prime example is the Siemens WS10G240OE washing machine. It's a run-of-the-mill machine with outdated specifications, and it costs $416. That's what experts think, but what will customers say? Perhaps we'll hear a few words in their defense?

I bought a Siemens WS10G240OE two years ago because my previous washing machine was also a Siemens. I really hoped that this "beauty" would be just as reliable, and it looks like I was right. It has withstood all the abuses of everyday life: poor water quality, power surges, and abuse from my little ones. In two years, there hasn't been a single sign of a malfunction. The machine seems simple, but it has:
- a very good 5 kg drum, which washes any items well;
- electronic control and a beautiful backlit display;
- complete leak protection that really protects;
- 15 washing programs, including a wonderful wool wash program.
I wash all my sweaters in the washing machine and none of them have shrunk yet, but pure wool items are probably best left out of the washing machine.
I also like that the machine is ergonomic, well-designed, and made with high-quality components. If I were you, I'd take a closer look at the Siemens WS10G240OE. It's not cheap, but you're paying for reliability.

This machine is simply amazing. It washes everything perfectly and even saves on detergent. The programs are much more sophisticated than those on Korean washing machines, but I also had to pay a little more for it. No, the Germans still know how to outdo Southeast Asia.

I've been using this "home helper" for three years now, and I have no complaints. Clothes are perfectly clean and stay lint-free for a long time. Other machines ruin clothes quickly, I know that firsthand, but not the Siemens. It's very well protected:
- there is protection against leaks;
- there is protection against interference from children;
- There is also protection against imbalance and overflow.
It seems like a standard feature, but the leak protection on this machine works just fine. Most machines only have protection on the body, and even then there's no guarantee it will work. Anyway, I won't waste time on this and I'm writing so much unnecessary stuff. It's a good machine, period.

A decent automatic washing machine is essential for any household. I managed to buy a Siemens washing machine last year. I brought it from the city myself, installed it myself, and am now using it. We live in a small village, so I'm responsible for my own maintenance if necessary, but so far the washing machine has been working like a charm and hasn't given me any problems.

The Siemens WS10G240OE has a truly amazing outerwear program. I've never seen anything like it. After washing, my white jacket looks like new. My old LG WD-6004C didn't wash even close to this well. Technology is advancing by leaps and bounds, and I'm still lagging behind.

I used it for several years washing machine LG E10B8ND, until it broke due to a severe power surge. It was a very unpleasant incident. Because of it, I lost not only the washing machine but also the refrigerator, and I still regret not installing proper protection on the electrical panel. Now I have a Siemens WS10G240OE, I really like it, and I wouldn't want to lose it too. It's a good machine, by the way, I recommend it!

I told some friends on a forum that my washing machine smells strongly of plastic, especially when I run it at 60 or 90 degrees. There are no expert reviews on my problem, everyone just laughs at me, saying it can't be happening. But a friend who also smelled this awful odor supports me. The last time I checked, I realized that even my clothes smelled faintly of phenols. I'm disappointed; I expected more from a brand-name machine.
Recently, another problem surfaced: the sunroof is now difficult to open and close.

Over three and a half years of use, the machine was sent in for repairs twice. Once they replaced a burnt-out intake valve, and the second time the drain pump failed. I didn't think Siemens would get so brazen and start making crappy equipment. It's probably all due to the Russian assembly. I have no complaints about the washing process, only about reliability.

The Siemens WS10G240OE is seriously overpriced. I estimate you'll be paying about $80 more than you bargained for. It has two major drawbacks: a small drum and a rather poor spin cycle. Modern Siemens machines also feature unnecessary water-saving technology. Now, the rinse cycle uses several liters, which significantly impacts wash performance. A terrible model!

I've been washing with this machine for six months now. Just a month ago, it started making a loud squeak. The noise gets louder when the drum stops after a faster cycle. I had to call a service technician. It turns out the door seal on these machines is poorly adjusted. If the seal moves even slightly, the drum starts to rub against the edge of the rubber seal, causing the squeak. The problem is quickly fixed, but the important thing is that you pay so much for German reliability, and you get nothing!
