I stumbled upon this machine by chance a year ago while touring stores around the city (I'm a sales representative). I stopped into one of the appliance stores and ran into a good friend. Hearing my need for an affordable and good top-loading washing machine, he suggested the Zanussi ZWY 51004 WA. I trusted him immediately, and after a short conversation, I went on with my work, and the very next day I went to register for my new machine. I've had no problems with delivery, installation, or ongoing maintenance. While its specifications are a bit inferior to those of its peers, it's far more reliable and of higher quality.

1. It has a drum that can hold up to 5.5 kg of laundry.
2. It has fully electronic controls.

What I really like about vertical clothes dryers is that you can add more laundry to them without any restrictions.

3. The machine spins fairly large loads well. It optimally spins about 4.5 kg of laundry.
4. It has a built-in child safety device, partial leak protection, as well as imbalance control and foam level control.

That's not all. The machine has a delayed start feature, but I don't use it. Besides, you can wash wool in it. I actually thought wool couldn't be washed in the machine, but apparently I was wrong. The machine may look unremarkable, but it's still wonderful, and after a year of use, I've come to love it!

As soon as I start washing on the Zanussi ZWY 51004 WA, it literally starts to “feverish”. Not only is she shaking like crazy, but she's also making noise like a locomotive. I worked on the railroad for 10 years, and our depot was quieter. The machine is cheap, which is good, but if the manufacturer had thought to put at least a mediocre display on it, I'd be happy. As it is, it's unclear how much longer the machine will wash.

For this price, this model is simply magnificent; you can definitely buy it. It's a shame that even the salespeople don't understand this. At one well-known appliance store, the salesperson downright tried to dissuade me from buying this machine. He said the Ariston was much better, and this washing machine would be a pain in the ass. Ultimately, two years of use have been fine, and the savings are obvious. If you don't expect too much from a washing machine, this is your choice.

The controls are very basic. Even cheap machines could use something more advanced—we live in the 21st century, after all. Also, the washing machine keeps running around the bathroom. It almost knocked over a shelf once, so I've now put a rubber mat underneath it and try to set the spin cycle to 800 RPM. My mom's has been running fine for a year now. I keep this machine in an unheated outbuilding, and I don't use it in the winter. When the outbuilding temperature reaches 10 degrees Celsius, the "big wash" begins. I have a Samsung washing machine at home, and a Zanussi ZWY 51004 WA also helps with it. It's amazing how the Zanussi doesn't mind the cold, yet it washes amazingly well. It's a shame I have so little space in the house; I'd put both washing machines side by side.

I see only one drawback with this machine: there's no screen to show the program progress. Everything else is perfect. Wash, spin, and rinse cycles are excellent. I'm even surprised that such a nice little machine costs so little. It's also apparently sturdy; I've had it for two years now.

Typically, top-loading machines have flimsy lids, but this one has a strong lid that won't come off.

Overall, it's a decent washing machine, but its wash programs are incredibly long, just awful. Some last up to four hours. In that time, you could grind your laundry to dust, let alone clean it. I was very pleased with the price, and the machine does its job perfectly. I tried washing a jacket, but it didn't work; the machine froze during the spin cycle. Washes small and medium-sized items perfectly.

The house has become very noisy, and it's all because I got the Zanussi ZWY 51004 WA. I didn't expect this. I read online that top-loading machines are quieter. Now I realize that's complete nonsense. I'm completely disappointed with it, because I realized it doesn't wash well either. Whites get ruined in the drum (they turn yellow for some reason). I give it 1 out of 5 stars.

This is the simplest machine. That applies to everything from the design to the controls. It takes a long time to wash, but it washes well, no complaints. I've only been using it for two months so far.
