Reviews of Luch washing powder
Luch laundry detergent is well known to our parents, as it was a popular laundry detergent in Soviet times. Currently, the limited liability company "Ekol" has revived the brand, and according to the advertising, Luch is manufactured in accordance with Soviet GOST standards. How good is this detergent? Let's find out by collecting real reviews.
Good ones

I've been taking Luch for about six months now, mixing it with Chaika washing powder I wash clothes in the washing machine with this "post-Soviet mix," and it works very well. The formula of one powder enhances the formula of the other. A friend of mine, who tried it by accident, suggested this method to me. Now I get the same washing results as a good, expensive powder by mixing two cheap ones, and I'm very happy.
The powders must be mixed in the following ratio: 2/3 Luch and 1/3 Chaika.

I realized a long time ago that there's no point in overpaying for overpriced, overhyped laundry detergent. I buy Luch hand washing powder wholesale for $0.35 a pack, and it does a great job. I like hand washing powder a little less, But I only buy one pack of it because I don't do much hand washing. For machine washing, I've been buying Luch in a 2.4 kg soft pack lately. Just for fun, I compared it to Sarma and Tide detergent. It washes just as well, but Tide might be a little better, but it's also considerably more expensive.

I've known and loved Luch brand laundry detergent for a long time. For a while, it wasn't available, or at least I never saw it, so I gradually forgot about it. But then it appeared on the shelves again, and naturally, I bought it and have had no trouble. Luch washes beautifully, even though it's cheap, because it's made using Soviet technology. It's an excellent detergent!
Bad

My grandmother and I went into Fix Price one day, and she spotted some laundry detergent on the counter, which, by the way, cost next to nothing—$0.45, I think. It was called "Luch," which means nothing to me, but she was thrilled, saying she used to wash with the same kind of detergent when she was younger. I examined the package; it was nothing special, just regular hand-washing detergent. It's fine for older washing machines, but you can't use it in a washing machine.
Luch laundry detergent, apparently, was in use in the 70s, because I remember what they used for washing in the 80s, and Luch was not among those powders.
Out of solidarity with my grandmother, I bought myself a pack of this Soviet relic and decided to use it that same day to wash a few small items, socks, sweatpants, and a couple of my husband's dark T-shirts. The results were disappointing. The cheap detergent produced cheap results, and the stains on my clothes remained. I felt like washing with regular soap would have removed the dirt better. I don't need this detergent, not at any price.

Laundry detergent can't be that cheap. This simple truth should have put me off buying Luch laundry detergent, but I bought it anyway and was once again convinced that your first instinct is usually the right one. I set my bedding to a 60-degree cotton cycle, added some of this detergent, and patiently waited for the results. In short, I'd rather have washed without it; what a difference that would have made, but the results were the same. What the hell does the manufacturer put in there, chalk or something? It had absolutely no effect. I'll never buy this detergent again, and I don't recommend it either!

I sell laundry detergent myself, so I've tried a ton of products and I don't like any of them. I didn't have high expectations when I tried Luch, and I was right. Absolutely nothing special:
- washes disgustingly;
- does not rinse well;
- very dusty;
- the consumption is simply enormous.
The only positives are perhaps the low price and pleasant scent, but I would have liked something more. Considering all the shortcomings, I decided the powder isn't worth a homemaker's attention.

Luch is a decent detergent. I started using it back in my student days, and now I have a family, I still wash with it. It doesn't have any super-powerful formula; all the ingredients are the same as they were 40 years ago, and it washes beautifully. What does this mean? We should watch fewer commercials; that's what clutters our brains the most. Get a cheap, decent detergent and wash to your heart's content, and if you need fabric softener or stain remover, add it as needed.
When you wash clothes with expensive detergent, you're essentially loading the machine with a cocktail of stain remover, fabric softener, and who knows what else. And if you just need to freshen up your clothes, you're unnecessarily treating them with unnecessary chemicals and, secondly, wasting your money. Luch is a rather mediocre detergent, of course, but it's perfect for everyday laundry.
Tatiana, Serov
My sister and I don't stick to just one powder; we're always trying something new. In the last year alone, we've tried a dozen powders, both expensive and cheap. I didn't particularly like the Luch laundry detergent, but I can rate it quite highly, since it's the best in its price category. If you use only cheap washing powders, Luch is the best choice, but it is no competitor to expensive powders.
In conclusion, don't think that a cheap laundry detergent can outperform an expensive one. While that does happen, it wasn't our case. Let's just say that Luch is one of the best detergents in the low price range, but overall, its cleaning performance is quite mediocre.

This detergent is disgusting. It hardens in the detergent drawer every time I wash it in my washing machine. Because of this, very little detergent gets into the drum, and the laundry doesn't get clean. Then you have to dig it out!
You don't need to put it in a container, but put it in the drum itself.
I've been using this powder for a long time. It washes colored items well. After washing, it leaves a light, fresh scent without being overpowering.
In my opinion, this powder is one of the best in its price range. It doesn't ruin laundry and cleans flawlessly.
