Great washing machine! We bought it 10 years ago. And it still works perfectly. We've only had it repaired once, and that was a minor issue. I can't remember what broke, but the repairs weren't expensive.

Works like clockwork! If you're unsure or don't know what to buy, I recommend CANDY! IT'S A GREAT THING!!!

The washing machine is not worth the money paid for it!

  • Firstly, it doesn't wash very well. A lot of stains don't come out. My previous machine wasn't as fancy, but it did a better job.
  • There is no washing at 80 degrees, nor at 70. After 90, it immediately goes to 60.
  • The programs often malfunction. When I set the cycle to 40 degrees, it sometimes heats up to 90. This has happened more than once or twice. And this washing has ruined some clothes! Terrible washing!
  • If I set the washing machine to 90 degrees, steam starts to appear. It comes out of the cracks and crevices. When I first noticed it, I was really scared. Steam is coming out of every crack! The whole bathroom is covered in it! And condensation is dripping from the ceiling!!!

Pros: The only advantage of this machine is its large tank.

Cons: Excessive steam when washing at 90 degrees, program glitches. Poor wash quality, no wash at 80 degrees.

I bought a washing machine in the summer of 2006. I bought it at the Albatross appliance store in St. Petersburg. It cost $130. And it worked fine until that day. Basically fine. It definitely earned its money back. Something in the electronics broke. They say replacing the part is expensive, so I want to buy a new Candy now. I haven't decided which one yet. I've been reading reviews and deciding. I decided to leave my own review.

Pros: Long service life. Compact, easy to operate, good washing quality.

Cons:There is noise during spin cycle and it rusts over time.

Candy CTD 10762 Washing Machine

We bought this machine because we had previously used a Candy. And that machine was very good. Overall, we got the impression that the manufacturer has started making inferior machines compared to the ones they used to make. The washing performance has gotten worse. There are no cams in the drum. They used to have better washing quality. I don't notice any difference between 5 and 6 kilogram machines.

The machine we had before had a five-rinse cycle. You could add that option to any program, if you needed it. This one simply doesn't have that option. It had a manual control, though. Now it's electronic. But before, I'd just set the wash cycle and go about my business. Now, I have to run to the machine frequently and add a rinse cycle, because without it, the laundry can smell too much like detergent.

The laundry gets very wrinkled during the spin cycle. It's difficult to iron it out afterwards. There's a strange "Aqua Plus" option, though. It adds more water. I never figured out what it's for. The wash quality is the same with or without it. Ultimately, I'm disappointed with this machine. The old one was much better. The display shows the time remaining in the wash cycle, but doesn't show what stage it's in.

Candy GO4 107 DF washing machine

Hello! I'd like to write about my washing machine! I'll start with the purchase. You might be curious... Some of you have probably encountered scams like interest-free loans and all that jazz. As it turned out upon purchase, it was just another scam! Without going into details, the entire interest (which shouldn't be included in an interest-free loan) is already added to the purchase price. We saw an ad about interest-free loans and decided to buy a washing machine. We went to the store with just enough money—just enough for a down payment.

We were choosing a washing machine based on quality, features, and price. We decided on the Candy GO4 107 DF. It's a good brand. My mother has one, and so do friends. I bought it because I had experience using several machines at home. I didn't like the Zanussi. Although it's quiet and doesn't shake, it could only wash a small amount of laundry at a time. And the wash quality was so-so. The Electrolux in our rented apartment was also disappointing. The first time you throw any more laundry in it, it starts leaking! And it didn't wash any laundry at all! We even tried fixing it ourselves, but it didn't work.

There weren't many Candy cars in the store. We chatted with the salesperson and decided on this particular model. Then we were told there was an extra charge for the warranty! A thousand a year!

This car was assembled in Russia. We decided to play it safe and bought a three-year warranty right away. They even put it on credit for us.

When we went to apply for a loan, we were surprised by the long line. To get the loan, we had to buy health insurance. So, we wanted to buy a car for $130. We got it for $150. And we paid another $70 for the warranty, insurance, and commission. It turns out that an interest-free loan doesn't include interest, but it does include a commission. So, you're overpaying, no matter what! Whether you call the overpayment interest, commission, or a ripoff is irrelevant. The main thing is to rip us off! So, we ended up paying a whopping $220!

And finally, about the Candy machine itself. I'm quite happy with it. There are no complications or hassles with the programs. Everything is simple and clear. The instructions are also easy to understand, without any fancy tricks. It washes a lot of laundry at once and does a good job. We washed a blanket, a duvet, rugs, and sneakers, and it cleaned everything perfectly. It also washes clothes perfectly and spins well. When I wash, I don't even separate the laundry by color. At a temperature below 40 degrees, it doesn't bleed, which means my clothes won't be stained either. And even with its one drawback, I love it. That drawback is that it likes to jump and bounce during the spin cycle. But compared to other machines I've used, it's better to have it bounce than to have it leak or wash poorly!

So far, none of the neighbors have complained, so everything's fine. And what I also like about it is that we move often. And once it even stayed in the garage for six months. And then there were frosts, slush, and rain! I thought it wouldn't work like it used to. But despite that and the regular moves, it continues to wash just as well!

But the worst part is, we're still paying the loan for it. And my friends already bought the same car for only $130!!!! And even with a warranty! It was cash, not a loan, though. And we're still paying $220 for it!!!!

The car itself is good. I'd give it a five with a slight minus.

Pros: It holds up well after being moved, can sit in the garage for about six months, washes well, and can even handle large and heavy items like blankets, throws, etc. It hasn't let me down yet!

Cons: The hoses are a bit short, and they bounce when you press them. It doesn't really bother me, though.

Candy CTH 1076 Washing Machine

Candy CTH 1076 Washing MachineEvgeniya:

I don't have exactly this washing machine, but a 107. This machine has worked perfectly for four years! We haven't had any problems! My husband worked in a home appliance repair shop, and they recommended this particular machine. It was assembled in Spain. It's a top-loading machine. They say these machines are more reliable. It has many programs, modes, and options. It's very easy to use. I often used the extra rinse. If I started a wash but forgot to add something, I could pause it and add it. It could wash up to 5 kg of laundry at a time. The drum is large. It washed perfectly even in cold water!

But after four years, problems started to appear. The control panel would stop lighting up. It only lasted for a short time, though, only during the spin cycle. But the spin cycle wouldn't finish, as it would start over and over again. I'd cheat, changing the program or starting a separate spin cycle. At first, this worked. But then these tricks stopped solving the problem. It washed normally, but as soon as it reached the rinse cycle, problems would occur.

A couple of months ago, it started shutting down more frequently. These glitches continued in different modes and at different times. And as it turns out, there's not a single Candy service center in our city. There are some mechanics who try to fix it, but they either don't have parts or everything takes a really long time. We called them, and they came, took some diagrams, and took it to their place. They said there were no faults. They made some changes, but the problem wasn't solved. Finally, they said the motor must be faulty. And a new one would cost $90! And you'd have to wait several months for it. And even then, there's no guarantee it will solve the problem. And if you buy a motor and install it, you'll still have to pay for it, even if the glitches continue!

We decided not to fix it. We're currently looking for a new machine. Hand washing is very difficult. We have a small child in the family. Now we're looking not only for a good washing machine, but also one whose manufacturer has service centers in our city. And it turns out there aren't many of those...

Pros: good car, I really liked it!

Cons: no one can fix it!

You won't believe it! It's been in service for 18 years. We've had to repair it twice ourselves.

I believe you! She worked for us for 18 years too! They don't make those anymore, only for five years max…

I've had a Candy washing machine for 20 years! It allows you to add water and detergent, and it washes beautifully. I use it to its full potential. That's just the way it is. I'm reading reviews because I'm starting to think I might have to buy a new one soon.

The Candy smart I bought in 2017 broke after the warranty expired (the bearing started making noise). The plastic tank is non-removable and cannot be repaired! It's disposable!

We bought a Candy in 2015 after our Ariston, which had served us faithfully for 13 years, broke down and the repairman said it needed replacing. And for the past five years, I've been swearing at whoever built that monstrosity. I have a two-phase day/night meter. And for years, I've been setting my wash cycle after 11 PM. That's how it was with the Ariston. I'd put in the laundry, add detergent, set the timer, and go watch TV. The machine would start automatically and shut off when the cycle was complete. Candy was assembled in Russia, so it doesn't have this feature. I start the wash cycle myself, but that's not the worst drawback. It turns out you can't leave this machine overnight, like the Ariston.
When I first decided to throw out the laundry, as usual in the morning, it turned out it hadn't spun. I set the spin cycle separately and sat there waiting. But it didn't. The machine stubbornly stopped without spinning. It didn't display an error message. I started reading the instructions. And it turns out they have this annoying feature. The machine can stop the cycle without spinning if the laundry in the drum hasn't been sorted. I'd really like to seat the smart guy who invented this feature next to my machine at night. So he could sort the wet laundry in the drum himself, just like I always do with my own hands. So the spin cycle would have already happened and I could go to bed. Because I have to go to work in the morning. The mechanic told me this feature was designed to protect the machine. But I thought that when I bought a machine for 22,000, I could count on it making my life easier, not more difficult. I think that after its intended purpose, it will soon break down. And I'll happily throw this monster in the trash. And I will never buy a car made in Russia again! India is better.
