LG F10B8lD0 Washing Machine Reviews
As household incomes plummeted during the economic downturn, people began to shift their focus from expensive, electronically loaded washing machines to more basic, yet reliable ones that will perform reliably for years to come. Appliance manufacturers regularly respond to these expectations, and the LG F10B8lD0 washing machine is another example. What do those who have already purchased and tried it think of this machine? Let's take a look at their reviews.
Positive opinions
Anna, Krasnodar
It'll soon be a year since we bought this washing machine. It's a true family worker and my kind helper, practically a member of the family. Every day, it valiantly cleans the mountains of dirty laundry that our little twins accumulate. I'm so glad I have it. For a couple of months before buying the machine, I washed by hand, and that time seemed like pure hell. I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy.
The washing quality is high, it does not damage the laundry and it spins well.

We had a tough time after the fire. We rebuilt the house, renovated the interior, bought furniture, and bought appliances. We didn't have much money left, but we wanted a decent washing machine that would work and wouldn't break down in 2-3 years. I immediately chose the LGF10B8lD0, firstly because it was affordable, and secondly because it had a direct drive and a 10-year motor warranty. Overall, I've come to respect this Korean brand's appliances and have been using them for a year and a half now.
Everything would be fine, but the UBLs on these machines are very weak. My wife closed the door too tightly a couple of times, and we had to replace the lock. Otherwise, I have no complaints about the washing machine; it really is very reliable!

This washing machine has been nothing but trouble, and the worst thing happened two months ago when it fell out of our car while we were moving from one apartment to another. On the one hand, it was funny to watch it fly off at 80 km/h and bounce around the road, fortunately there were no cars behind it. But on the other hand, I mentally said goodbye to it; it's hard not to be completely broken after such a fall.
Surprisingly, the machine suffered only external damage. The body had chips, cracks, and abrasions, but neither the hatch nor the control panel, nor the internal mechanisms, suffered any serious damage. We finally got the machine hooked up, and it works perfectly, though it does look a bit shabby. However, I'm determined not to throw it away now, because this appliance has a history, and a lot of it, and I hope it lasts as long as possible.
Evgeniya, Murmansk
The machine is good, attractive in appearance, and fairly quiet, although there is a slight knocking sound during the spin cycle. I haven't encountered any obvious issues during my eight months of use. I highly recommend it!
Irina, Omsk
When I bought the washing machine, my friend looked at me like I was stupid, saying it had a small load capacity and couldn't wash anything big. But I don't really care. I can wash my jacket without a problem, and for the larger items that only get washed once a year, there's dry cleaning. Why should I bother with blankets, throws, rugs, and carpets myself when there are professionals for that? No matter what anyone says, it's a good machine for the money—not a great one, of course, but good.
For single people or a family of 2, this car is a good choice.

I liked the fact that this machine, despite its low price, is quite technologically advanced. It has all the basic functions a modern housewife might need, even mobile diagnostics. I really like the washing programs. There are many of them, and they're all well-designed, with no mess. This means every cent spent on this machine was worth it. Five stars for the machine!
Negative opinions
Pavel, Moscow
I have never had a washing machine work so terribly. This "monster" fills and drains water in jerks, so that the pipes shake. One time, when draining water into the sewer, this leak caused a leak. The drain pipe and drain hose weren't securely sealed (the plumber installed it), flooding the bathroom floor, and some of the soapy water leaked into the neighbors' bathroom. Now I have to bribe the neighbors to keep them from suing me. The machine is simply awful!
Margarita, Ryazan
It is absolutely impossible to wash small items in the washing machine. laundry bagsThe problem is, small items often end up in the drum, making it very difficult to get them out. The last time we called a technician, he pulled out two different children's socks and a handkerchief. He praised us for calling him in time; otherwise, the items would have gotten stuck in the drain and caused a flood. He recommended we buy a bag, so I did. Now we don't have any problems, but I'm upset with the manufacturer of this washing machine!

We'd only been using the washing machine for two months when, out of nowhere, it froze during a wash cycle. The machine didn't display any information; it just froze. I waited about an hour, but there was no response. I had to reboot the machine. After the reboot, the problem only got worse. Now, when I turn the machine on, all the lights come on, and it stays that way; turning it on and off doesn't help.
It turns out that inexpensive LG washing machines have low-quality electronic components.
The service technician said the control module needed to be reprogrammed, and now we're waiting. This is the second week without a washing machine. I hate LG in general and this washing machine in particular!
Maria, Novosibirsk
It's so loud. Even the neighbors can hear me spinning, so it's hard not to swear. The salesman assured me that this washing machine was much quieter than similar models from other manufacturers, but in reality it turned out to be an airplane, not a washing machine! I heard that modern cars have imbalance control.
If you overload the drum with laundry, the machine should stop and display an error message. My machine doesn't seem to have this feature, because if I stuff it with too much dirty laundry, it starts rocking back and forth, but it still spins. Could this be a manufacturing defect? I'll call the service center.
Ilya, Moscow
Yes, all LG washing machines under $800 are garbage. Don't trust a manufacturer that spends a ton of money on advertising. My cousin got into trouble; she bought an LGF10B8lD0 machine, and now she's thinking about selling it to the neighbors or throwing it straight into the landfill. People, be careful, "there's no such thing as a free lunch," which in our case might be a better way of saying, "there's no such thing as a cheap lunch."
