Reviews from satisfied owners

At first glance, this washing machine might seem small, especially considering that people are recently snapping up models with 8, 10, and even 12 kg drum capacities. The salesperson at the appliance store persistently offered me the 8 kg model, but I declined in favor of the LG F12B8ND1, which is both cheaper and simpler. And during my use (I've been using it for eight months), I haven't noticed any shortage of drum space. I wash everything, even outerwear, blankets and throws. I even wash rugs properly.

I'll comment on the washing quality separately. At first, I had issues with both the rinsing and washing cycles. I thought there was something wrong with the machine, but it turns out I just needed to learn the washing modes and select the right one for the type of laundry. After a month, I got the hang of it, and the washing cycle became almost perfect. I can confidently recommend this machine to everyone!

The machine is great, it washes perfectly. Since it arrived, both my wife and I have fewer chores. I really like the quick wash feature. Not many machines have this program, and often you just need to refresh your laundry, not leave it in the drum for 1.5 or 2 hours in hot water. Great job, the Koreans have figured out how to make proper washing machines!

This machine's fastest wash cycle is 30 minutes. In reality, it washes clothes in 33-36 minutes.

A year ago, we needed a washing machine, so we went and bought one. We didn't bother at all with the model, brand, pros, cons, and all that crap. I think that's the way to buy—it's less of a hassle, and you can end up with a bad one no matter what. We carefully chose our previous machine, reading reviews. About Bosch washing machines, but the German didn’t even serve us for two years, he turned out to be some kind of “unfinished” German.

The LG has been serving us well so far, and I'm afraid I'll jinx it. It's a bit louder than the Bosch, but it's reliable; we haven't even had a single malfunction or freeze—it's a great machine!

We got this machine at a big discount, and I even thought the salespeople were deliberately pushing defective machines on us, but my fears turned out to be unfounded. The washing machine turned out to be quite good.

  • A convenient hatch that allows you to easily load a pile of laundry without it getting stuck anywhere; you just grab it and throw it in.
  • The machine doesn't rock even during the spin cycle and makes almost no noise.
  • Everything is labeled on the control panel, so even if you want to confuse the program, you won’t.
  • The powder tray is easy to remove, I always take it out and wash it after 3-4 washes.

Besides, my husband claims this car has a cool, highly reliable motor. I don't understand any of this, but I tend to trust my husband. I was lucky to get this car, and I wish you the same!

I haven't had the machine for very long, but I can already say a few things, mostly from past experience. My first washing machine was also an LG. My old one lasted about six years, and a power surge nearly destroyed it, causing a fire. Now I'm happily using the LG F12B8ND1 and can confidently say that machines in this series are quite reliable and last a long time. My neighbor (she has an Indesit) called a repairman twice this year because the belt kept slipping. They told me that LG machines don't have belts, which I'm incredibly happy about!

Negative opinions

My main complaint is the spin cycle. The drum seems to be spinning fast, which should remove most of the water, but even after a second spin, the clothes are still wet. I can't figure out why this is happening. I called a technician and ran the spin cycle in front of him, after adding a few wet towels to the drum. The "felt-tip technician" just shrugged his shoulders and left, not forgetting to take the callout fee. I'm really upset and thinking about buying a new machine, but I have to return this one to the store somehow!

When spinning, I set the drum rotation speed to maximum, but the laundry remains wet.

This machine has a problem that is simply unacceptable: it doesn’t drain water well. It washes well, no major complaints, but then you open the door, take out the laundry and there's dampness everywhere. Some of the water remains on the rubber around the hatch, you can wipe it off with a cloth, but what should you do with the water that’s at the bottom of the tank?

I always leave the door open to let the water evaporate, but then I went on a business trip for two weeks, and my husband did the laundry, so he left the door closed. The machine started smelling, and the inside of the drum was covered in mold, so now I need to clean it. In that sense, the technology is ill-conceived, and I think I shouldn't have chosen it.

The washing machine rattles and bounces, and we don't know what to do. I don't use the spin cycle above 800 RPM because it's impossible. One time, the machine jumped so much that it ripped out the hoses and flooded the entire floor. My husband consulted with specialists, but they didn't offer any real solutions. They said level it, put in some anti-vibration pads, and everything would be fine. But we did all that initially, and the machine still "jumps." I don't recommend this model!

In conclusion, we can note that many buyers are in favor of this machine, and we found few opponents, which is saying something. Happy shopping!
