LG F12B8WDS7 Washing Machine Reviews
Budget-friendly washing machines are in high demand during the economic downturn. And those that combine affordability and reliability are even more valuable. This isn't always the case, but some consumers share similar shopping experiences. Let's see what people are saying about the LG F12B8WDS7.
Machine specifications
Let's look at the technical specifications of this washing machine to get a better idea of what we're talking about. The LG F12B8WDS7 is a freestanding front-loading washer with a removable top cover for under-counter installation. The machine is narrow in size and holds no more than 6.5 kg of laundry.
Electronic control and the presence of a display make it easier to select the desired program, of which there are 13 in this model. During spinning, the drum accelerates to 1200 rpm. The spin speed can be adjusted or disabled completely.
Protection against water leakage is only partial.
The machine has additional functions and features:
- protection of the panel from pressing buttons by children;
- delay the launch until 19:00;
- mobile diagnostics (Smart Diagnosis);
- drum self-cleaning.

I suddenly and urgently needed a new washing machine, as the old one broke after 20 years. I didn't have much money, so I only had enough for a budget model. The capacity and washing modes were perfectly fine. I especially liked the steam function; I hadn't even known what that was before. According to the manufacturer, it kills germs. The drum cleaning function was a unique feature. It fit perfectly, and the capacity is quite large. Conclusion: a good machine.

I'd like to share my impressions of my LG F12B8WDS7 washing machine. We didn't spend much time deciding, but on the salesperson's recommendation, we settled on this model and haven't regretted it one bit. It has all the necessary programs, even a steam function. While this feature does wash laundry brilliantly, it doubles the washing time, so we don't use it often. The drum is large; we even tried it on a double-size blanket. We're very pleased with the machine's performance, especially since it's very quiet.

Hello to all site visitors! My dream has come true: I now have a new LG washing machine. This one is much better than my old one. It has a spacious drum, so you can wash everything in one wash. It spins quietly and has a child lock. Overall, I'm very happy with it and highly recommend it.
Dreaming
Before making the purchase, I read a ton of customer reviews on various websites. Bad reviews accounted for no more than 5% of the total. Most people write that they're happy with their purchase. But I'm disappointed with this machine, and here's why:
- The machine is incredibly noisy, like a plane taking off. It's in my kitchen, and it's noisy during the wash cycle, but the spin cycle is absolutely terrifying.
- Since the machine is fuel-efficient, it takes in very little water. It feels like there's no water at all, and your clothes are just slightly damp.
- Because of the six drum movements, a so-called new technology, the laundry tears and threads remain on the logs. I don't understand the purpose of this super-feature.
- I put in just a little bit of powder, but even it doesn’t rinse out well.
- The washing cycles, or rather the stages, are strange. The laundry takes longer to rinse than to wash, and the difference is about twice as long.
- When washing at 60 degrees, the machine smells like rubber, but I don’t even want to imagine what it will be like at 90 degrees.
In short, I don’t advise anyone to buy such equipment.
Morozea
The most important criterion when choosing a washing machine was price-quality. The LG F12B8ND washing machine proved to be the best value. My previous machine, the same brand, lasted for nine years, washing every day. I didn't bother with cleaning or descaling, and I didn't buy any Calgon filters. So, I bought the LG and I'm happy with it. It has all the necessary features, and the drum capacity is even better.
I don't like the long signal at the end of the program, but this is only a small minus.
The intelligent washing system saves time and water, which I think is important. The machine is very quiet and washes beautifully. I usually leave it overnight; it doesn't disturb anyone, not even my annoying neighbor. With the maximum spin, the laundry is practically dry and dries quickly. I often just spin the laundry; I press the spin button immediately and that's it. I like the display that shows the remaining wash time. It's a miracle machine. I recommend it!

I was deciding between an LG and a Bosch washing machine, but the latter only holds 5 kg. So I chose the former. It's quiet and water-efficient. It has all the modes I use. I like the "wrinkle-free" and "drum clean" functions. Overall, it has a lot of advantages. The most important thing is that it washes and spins well, and the clothes are practically dry. I discovered a problem: water gets trapped in the rubber seal and needs to be wiped out. However, many washing machines have this problem. If this doesn't bother you, then you can buy it with confidence.

After six months of use, I haven't noticed any major downsides. I found the delayed start feature useful, allowing the machine to finish washing everything by morning, leaving me just hanging out the laundry. There are no complicated controls; everything is pretty straightforward. It's also quiet; my old washing machine was much louder.

The whole family is happy with the washing machine. It's beautiful, doesn't bounce around the room, and doesn't vibrate. It's quiet, even quieter than the old unit. The drum has a good capacity, allowing you to easily wash blankets, pillows, and duvets. I think it's superior to similarly equipped washing machines from other brands. The price is very reasonable.
