LG FH0C3lD Washing Machine Reviews

LG FH0C3lD reviewsLG FH0C3lD fully automatic washing machines are unlikely to surprise anyone these days. They aren't loaded with cutting-edge gadgets, nor do they offer an impressive array of programs or features; they're simply workhorses, and very reliable ones at that, designed for years of use. If you're interested in such a machine, you need a reliable one. You can learn more about it by examining its technical specifications and reading reviews from people who have already formed an opinion about it.

Machine specifications

This washing machine is technically considered freestanding, meaning it should be placed entirely freestanding. In reality, it's perfectly possible to install it, for example, under a countertop, since the top lid is removable. Loading is done through a hatch located in the front of the machine. The maximum drum load is relatively small, just 5 kg, but for a family of three, this is often sufficient.

Sometimes you need to wash large items like blankets or outerwear. A 5 kg drum is not suitable for this.

The maximum spin speed is also not impressive, but not too low either – up to 1000 rpm. This is sufficient even for spinning cotton bed linen. The machine's dimensions are 60 x 44 x 85 cm W x D x H, and it weighs 62 kg. It costs approximately $330. Additional features include:

  • energy efficiency and low water consumption;
  • intelligent electronic control;
  • the presence of bubble wash;
  • child protection;
  • partial leak protection and imbalance control;
  • foam control;
  • an abundance of programs, including modes that allow you to wash wool;
  • Smart Diagnosis function.

People's opinionsFH0C3lD LG washing machine

I bought the machine a year and a half ago and installed it myself. I was pleased that everything I needed was included, even a wrench for removing the shipping bolts. It's great when the manufacturer takes care of everything upfront. The detailed and clear instructions made it easy to install, start up the machine for the first time, and use it properly from then on.

After a year and a half, I can confidently say that the machine is very reliable. In all this time, there hasn't been a single breakdown, not even a minor one. It runs quietly. With the bathroom door closed, you can barely hear it except when it starts spinning. It doesn't rattle, doesn't rock much, and doesn't bounce around the bathroom. I installed it exactly level, and put special supports under the feet. Anti-vibration pads for washing machinesIn my opinion, the car is very good, and also inexpensive!

The washing machine is very basic; I certainly wouldn't buy one for myself, but my grandmother bought it because it was cheap. It washes well, but that's where its advantages end. The drum is very small, it’s impossible to fit a large item in there. I don't even consider washing machines with a load capacity of less than 7 kg. I have a 7 kg machine myself, but I'd like even more, and 5 kg is so last century. I give this washing machine a 3 out of 5.

The washing machine seems okay, the wash quality is decent, and it's well-built. It's clear from the outside that it's an older model; these days, machines have fancy big displays, lots of different functions and buttons, and so on. This one is simple, almost rustic, you could say; it just washes, and that's it. I'm not a technology junkie, so I like this machine; it's definitely not for those who prefer modern technology!

I'm dissatisfied with this machine because it doesn't rinse well. And how can it rinse clothes if it only uses a tiny amount of water? Saving money, dammit. In their quest for water savings, the engineers have cut essential features. How can you do without a rinse, dear engineers? Don't bother with this model, even though it's cheap!

Vitaly, Sevastopol

I used it for three months and couldn't stand it any longer, so I bought a Bosch machine. I can't say anything bad about LG, but some of their products just don't hold up to scrutiny, particularly this washing machine. It's a total bummer, but I can live with that, but the fact that it doesn't wash or rinse properly is just unbearable! It seems like cheap LG machines aren't worth it; you'll save a few tens of dollars, and then you'll be stuck with it for a month.

The machine is very noisy; the drum makes a loud knocking noise when spinning.

Natalia, Novosibirsk

In six months, the machine hasn't malfunctioned once. It washes flawlessly. I try not to cram too much laundry into it; if I have a pile of dirty clothes, I wash them in batches, sorting them by fabric type and color. It's easy to use, and it uses very little detergent. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase!

In conclusion, we'd like to point out that customer reviews of this washing machine are overwhelmingly positive. Yes, this machine is inexpensive, so it won't have any modern bells and whistles. But it's also true that many people don't need those; it just washes and that's it!
