Zanussi Washing Machine Reviews
Zanussi FE 925 N Washing Machine
Hope:
I bought this washing machine in the fall of 2004. That means it's been with me for 10 years now! It's never broken. I'm so happy I decided to buy it sooner rather than any other washing machine!
My washing machine has different programs. And you can also customize them. You can increase the speed, set any temperature, and so on. You can also run just a specific program, not the entire wash cycle.
Pros: It washes all types of clothes, linens, shoes, and jackets perfectly. It's been working flawlessly for 10 years now!!! What a great machine!
Cons: When I bought it, the price was a bit steep. But now, at that price, you can get cheap machines. The interface has changed color; it's become slightly yellowish. The door has changed color, too. But it's not that big of a deal, since the machine works so well and never breaks down!

Michael:
I moved out of my parents' house and immediately needed to buy a lot of things. I didn't have my own appliances. And hand washing isn't my thing. So, my first priority was buying a washing machine. Money was tight, so I was looking for an affordable one. Then, one of the appliance stores happened to be having a big discount on Zanussi. So, I grabbed it right away. I didn't expect such a cheap machine to wash my clothes for more than three years!
I will describe the qualities of the machine:
- It washes quite well, but not with every detergent. So I had to choose the right powder by trial and error.
- If you set the spin cycle to the highest speed, your clothes will come out almost dry.
It contains:
- Extra rinse.
- Delayed start of washing.
- Different washing modes for different types of fabrics.
- And also washing without heating water, quick, hand, and regular washing.
- An additional feature that reduces wrinkles. However, the spin cycle is a bit weak.
It's a budget machine, so I wouldn't call it the best of the bunch. The design is basic. There aren't any particularly cool features. It's relatively economical. It's not very big. The programs are generally quite sufficient. The build quality isn't the best. It leaves laundry more or less clean and washed. In terms of washing performance, I'd give it a C+. But considering I got it for so little, that's okay. And for the money, it works well. I wouldn't recommend it to my relatives. Otherwise, it's fine.
Pros: It's easy to operate, doesn't bounce, the washing is a C+, and the spin cycle is normal.
Cons: no blocking is provided.

Ilona:
I bought this washing machine in a hurry, so I didn't really research it. I just saw it at a good price and bought it. I've been using it for three years now. And I can't say I love everything about it. It has its good points and its bad points. On the positive side: it's easy to use. On the negative side: it doesn't always wash well. If you overload the drum, the rinse cycle isn't great. The detergent leaves light marks on the laundry. And the parts aren't all that great. They break sometimes. So, you decide for yourself.
Pros:not an expensive price.
Cons: The bearings wore out over time. Replacing them costs almost as much as I used to pay for a new washing machine!!!

Vladimir:
It's comparable in size to standard top-loading machines. However, it's slightly larger in load capacity, holding 5.5 kg of laundry. The wash quality is good. It has quite a few different programs and options. It has a standard set of programs for a variety of fabrics. It also has a variety of washing modes. I usually only use the quick wash, but I also add an extra rinse cycle. It takes about an hour. Compared to my previous washing machine, it's a bit long. Sometimes I wash with the easy ironing option. This program means I spend less time ironing.
What I'm not entirely happy with is the lack of useful temperature options like 70 and 50 degrees. I have to descale the machine with a special descaling agent at 90 degrees. And that's a bit of a risk. It's also a shame there's no low-speed spin option. For example, at 300 or 200. At 500, the laundry wears out.
We installed the machine according to the recommendations. But it still makes a lot of noise when spinning. Sometimes it even whistles. It used to be really annoying, but now we've gotten used to it. According to the consultant, the machine was assembled in Poland. However, no matter how hard I searched, I couldn't find any confirmation of this in the documentation. There's nothing about it there at all.
All models have their drawbacks. This washing machine washes quite well, and if you ignore the noise during the spin cycle, there are no particular drawbacks.
Pros: You can read more about them above.
Cons: The price is high. And even now, it's still quite expensive. Loud noises when spinning. No 50 and 70 degree temperature settings.

Catherine:
This machine is terrible! It's been washing for three years, and every year something breaks! The ribs in the drum are broken. Some detergent remains in the dispenser even after washing. You can't use liquid detergent because the pump sucks it out before washing. The rinse cycle is poor. And if the item is really dirty, the machine can't get it out at all! I've tried two, three, and four washes! Still nothing changes. I have to wash it myself by hand.
There are many different options, but it's unclear what they do. And since this model doesn't have a display, it's not even clear what they do. Unexplained malfunctions are common, and they occur from the very first day of using the washing machine.
The service center is very reluctant to take on warranty repairs. They're increasingly trying to rip me off. The washing machine was installed properly. They even used a spirit level. But it still bounces, vibrates, and skids across the floor. And the spin cycle is so loud! The design doesn't include a drain pump filter. That's why the pump breaks down every eighteen months!!!
Pros: no need to wash by hand (in most cases).
Cons: It breaks down, doesn't wash well, makes noise, and doesn't rinse well. It's a really bad washing machine! I'll have to buy a new one.

Anatoly:
I've been using this washing machine for over two years and so far I'm completely satisfied. Washing is very simple. Just select the fabric type and start the wash. I also often turn on the optional ironing feature. Just turn it on and forget about it. It washes so quietly. And if the bathroom door is closed, it's completely silent! I absolutely love this washing machine!
Pros:
- Considering that the machine is cheap, such quiet operation is simply excellent!!!
- Economical. Electricity and water consumption are quite modest.
- The controls are very simple. There are minimal options, everything is simple and clear. Even a child could handle it.
- The machine is a bit narrow. Probably a few centimeters smaller than standard washing machines. This is important for those with a modest-sized bathroom.
These are the qualities that made me buy this model. And I'm very happy with it!
Cons: The only thing missing for convenience is longer hoses. Some of you may need to buy longer ones. However, they're inexpensive and available at all plumbing supply stores. So it's not a big drawback.

I bought my Nyushka 18 years ago, when it was one of the most expensive machines available in our home appliance stores. I've had no problems with it since then, the only issue was the start button breaking. It was Italian-made.
It's a decent machine, but after five years I encountered problems that couldn't be repaired. A bearing failed. The drum needed to be sawed down. They offered to repair it, but the price was quoted at 3,500 hryvnias. It's easier to buy a new one. I won't buy from this company.
