Frau Schmidt dishwasher tablet reviews

Frau Schmidt tablets reviewsWhich dishwasher detergent should I buy? This is a question that every dishwasher owner asks themselves. Of course, it's not easy to answer, as there are so many criteria for choosing one. In this article, we've decided to present reviews of the tablet-based detergent from the renowned German brand Frau Schmidt. Who better than consumers to know everything about it?

Positive

I tried a bunch of different dishwasher tablets and other cleaning products. Some were terrible at removing grease, while others left a residue on plates and glasses. Finally, while searching for a good product, I received a Frau Schmidt tablet as a gift. I wasn't expecting positive results, but I was surprised by how clean the dishes were. The tablet did its job perfectly. The dishes squeaked, and the glasses sparkled just like in the ad.

The manufacturer of the product also promises protection against scale and deposits, but I won’t lie, whether this is true or not, I’ll write later. I won't be adding salt for now. Another thing I liked was that it eliminates odors in the car, and after using the tablets, there's no smell at all. I recommend buying it.

Finally, my husband decided to use a machine instead of a woman as a dishwasher. 🙂 However, with her arrival, the question arose: what detergent should we use? After numerous trials and experiments with various detergents from different brands, we settled on Frau Schmidt tablets. We were attracted by the economical packaging of 60 tablets, which is enough for about 1.5 to 2 months.

As it says on the packaging, you don't need to add salt or rinse aid, which is what we do.

The results are beyond compare compared to other detergents. I'd like to point out the product's affordability and reasonable price. The only drawback is the non-dissolving packaging that each tablet is sealed in, requiring unpacking. But that's a minor issue.

As a dishwasher owner, I've tried various "all-inclusive" tablets. I recently purchased Frau Schmidt dishwasher tablets at a great price at Auchan. I tested the new tablet in a fully loaded dishwasher, including dirty plates, a frying pan, empty coffee and tea mugs, and a saucepan—basically, the whole shebang. I selected the long cycle at 70 degrees Celsius. The results were excellent, with no deposits or drips. No traces of dirt.

I tried Frau Schmidt tablets, which contain both rinse aid and salt. They're made in Germany. I like the quality of their products. The tablets dissolve easily and don't leave a smell. The instructions say to clean the dishes before adding them, but I ignore this rule. I just stack everything, put the tablet in the compartment, and start the wash.

The dishes come out clean. They squeak when you run your finger over them, and there are no streaks on the glassware. But there's one catch: if you don't take the dishes out immediately and leave them overnight, dried water drops will remain on them. Also, coffee mugs are only washed at 70 degrees Celsius.

As my extensive experience with dishwashers has shown, it's not worth skimping on dishwashing tablets or powders. For example, the inexpensive Somat tablets are simply awful. But after seeing a couple of pre-packaged Frau Schmidt tablets at Auchan, I decided to give them a try, paying about $0.18. I immediately noticed the "all-in-one" label, which pleased me; I don't obsess over ingredients.

Most importantly, the results exceeded expectations, as the dishes were cleaned without leaving streaks. There was no chemical smell or mustiness, unlike with other tablets. The bottom line: this product is no worse than the expensive Finish, and I'll be using it again.

We have a Bosch dishwasher, and I use tablets for it. I bought these because of the low price, which turned out to be a direct reflection of the product's quality. The tablets only handle light stains that can be easily washed off by hand in warm water. Plus, this product removes grease. They don't tackle stuck-on dumplings or carbon deposits.

In short, don't waste your money on this product. It doesn't clean anything. After washing, streaks remain, and tea and coffee cups are not washed. It's very poor at removing grease from pans and baking sheets. Although it's inexpensive, it's still a waste of money.

I tried every known brand of dishwasher detergent. When I saw some inexpensive Frau Schmidt dishwasher tablets, I took a chance. The package contained 30 tablets, plus a free lemon-shaped air freshener. The lemon scent was off-putting, so I decided not to use it. So, I loaded the baskets with medium-soiled dishes and set the water temperature to 70 degrees Celsius.

When it was finished, I opened the door and was shocked. The dishes looked as if I'd forgotten to add a tablet or turn the machine on. There was grease on the mugs, a beetroot stain on the cutting board, food residue on the spoons and forks, and streaks on the glasses. What were these tablets supposed to do, just wash dusty dishes from the cupboard? The only positive was the lack of odor.

Like many others, I bought Frau Schmidt tablets at Auchan to try them out for just $1.70 for 30 tablets. I was drawn to the label—no salt required. However, the first wash was a disappointment. The dishes weren't clean, ketchup remained on the plates, the buckwheat was caked on, and the tea stains didn't even lighten. No shine whatsoever. I ran the machine again, but with a different detergent.

The verdict is: I don’t recommend it to anyone, as washing is comparable to rinsing without any product at all.

I'll never buy these tablets again. I bought them online, but I couldn't find the ingredients on the website. I thought phosphates were banned in Germany and wouldn't be in the tablets. But no, they do contain phosphates, and quite a bit. Frau Schmidt cleaned the dishes well, but it left a white residue—in other words, chemicals. Basically,Finish copes with this task better.
