The well-known Somat dishwasher tablets are quite popular, primarily due to their price. The price is attractive, it's immediately obvious, but what about the quality? Consumers who have been using these tablets for a long time can attest to this.

I used these products for about a year, and then decided to switch to something else. The thing is, these products have become quite expensive recently, and I wanted to use a product that would be as good as the Finish tablets but cheaper. I searched for about two weeks before I tried Somat All in 1 tablets.

1. The product does not leave the slightest trace on the dishes, just like Finish.
2. The dishwashing performance hasn't diminished. This is proven by almost a year of my personal testing.

I even used Somat tablets to remove a five-millimeter layer of burnt fat from a duck pan, so I have no doubt about their effectiveness.

3. The capsules dissolve perfectly, leaving nothing left in the tray.
4. The tablets are functional. They dissolve dirt, soften water, and protect your dishwasher from limescale.
5. They say they're chlorine-free. I think they are, because my husband is allergic to bleach, but he sniffs these tablets just fine.

This is a rare case where I was able to actually save money and not miss out on anything. These pills may not be the most hyped, but they're pretty good.

Perhaps the only drawback of Somat tablets is the lack of a soluble film. You have to unfold the tablet before loading it. But in my opinion, this is a minor inconvenience, as this product cuts the cost of washing dishes in half. I've repeatedly found discrediting information online about my favorite Somat product. Let that remain on the conscience of those who write nasty things about these tablets, even though they sometimes haven't tried them themselves. I've tried them and know full well that they're worthy tablets and can be purchased with confidence.

It turns out the film on the tablets doesn't dissolve in water. The tablets themselves dissolve fine if you remove them from their packaging beforehand, but the cleaning quality is unacceptable. Finish detergent washes away tea and coffee stains from mugs, but Somat leaves the stains behind. It also doesn't wash off dried food from plates well, especially leftover porridge. I do not recommend it!

A Somat tablet cleans well if you use it whole. If you cut the capsule in half, you won't be able to clean anything. Finish capsules contain a higher concentration of detergent, so even half a capsule cleans perfectly. If you do the math, you'll find that Finish tablets are a better value, even though they're more expensive.
