European washing machine manufacturers strive to standardize the parts and components for their equipment. However, in most cases, the spare parts list still depends on the machine series, year of manufacture, and model. What about bearings for the Atlant 50C102 washing machine? Is it possible to easily purchase a repair kit if needed, or should I stock up on it in advance?
Identifying bearings
If the bearings are worn out, the washing machine's operation will be impaired. It's essential to repair your "home helper" as soon as possible to prevent further damage. But what replacement parts should you buy? What should you consider when purchasing? On modern Atlantes 50C102 is equipped with SKF 6203 ZZ and SKF 6204 ZZ bearings, the seal dimensions are standard – 25x47x8/11.5.
Machines manufactured before 2010 are equipped with completely different bearings—204 and 205. Moreover, washing machine repair specialists have also encountered units in certain machine lines from 2011-2012 that used similar components.
When repairing washing machines manufactured between 2010 and 2012, you should not purchase bearings in advance.
It's best to disassemble the car, remove the worn parts, and only then, after checking the part's markings, buy new ones. Otherwise, you could end up buying a completely inappropriate repair kit. Sometimes, a 2012 Atlant has a 204 or 205 bearing on the drum, although this is very unexpected.
Selecting a seal is much easier. The sealing ring diameter is standardized. The Belarusian manufacturer uses a universal-sized gasket: 25x47x8/11.5. Therefore, you can confidently purchase a universal seal for the Atlant 50C102 washing machine.
Part replacement procedure
The machine's design allows for top-down removal, eliminating the need to remove the front panel. To freely remove the drum, you must remove the lid, upper counterweight, dispenser, control panel, level sensor, inlet valve, rear panel, drive belt, remove the heating element and motor, disconnect the drain hose, and loosen the shock absorbers.
Next, the extracted unit is placed on a flat surface and disassembled. The Atlant machine has a detachable tank, so there is no need to saw it. Bearing replacement occurs according to the following algorithm:
unscrew the bolts holding the front counterweight, remove the block;
loosen and remove the inner clamp of the cuff, tuck it in so as not to stain the elastic during disassembly;
unscrew the screws that hold the two parts of the tank together, remove the top one and put it aside;
turn the bottom half over;
Disconnect the pulley by unscrewing the center bolt. If the bolt cannot be loosened, spray it with WD-40;
remove the drum by lightly tapping the sleeve;
Using a hammer and chisel, knock out both bearings;
clean the seat from dirt;
Install the small bearing into the groove. Tap its outer race to ensure it seats properly;
install a larger bearing in the same manner;
Place the oil seal on top, having previously treated it with a special lubricant.
Once the bearings and seal are installed, all that remains is to assemble the unit. It's recommended to seal the edges of the tank halves with a moisture-resistant sealant before bolting them together. Next, reassemble all the removed parts into the housing in the reverse order.
We took this washing machine apart, and the smaller bearing turned out to be a France 206B Explorer, i.e., 6201-2rsh. Could you explain why? The washing machine was purchased in 2009. Another technician replaced the bearings before us. Was it his mistake or something?

Where bearings 204 and 205 are, oil seal 30*52*10/11.5.
