Whirlpool Dishwasher Reviews

Whirlpool dishwasher reviewsWhirlpool dishwashers are available in all price ranges. Some are very affordable, while others are incredibly expensive. How do you choose the best model for yourself? It's difficult to answer this question right away, so let's start with this article, where we've compiled the most honest consumer reviews of dishwashers.

Whirlpool ADG145

Natalia Perlipesova

An inexpensive model, within our family budget. When my husband and I bought it, we didn't really think about any features; we were attracted by the price and the sale. Then I spent a long time getting used to it, approaching the technology like an Arabian horse. I placed the plates in the baskets exactly as instructed and slightly less to ensure I didn't exceed the maximum load, which resulted in me having to rewash the plates. Then I folded it differently, and after the sixth attempt, I managed to get the plates washed well, but then there was the saga with the frying pan.

Whirlpool ADG145I thought everyone was adapting to dishwashers, and I wasn't particularly worried until we went to a family party. They have an Indesit dishwasher, and even if you put the dishes in it haphazardly, it cleans better than my Whirlpool. I was incredibly upset and now I'm telling all my friends to be sure not to end up with the same machine.

Tamara Sergeeva

I'd been dreaming of a dishwasher for ages, and finally my son gave me a Whirlpool ADG145, and I couldn't be happier. The thing is, I have a terrible allergy to detergents. Even if I wash dishes with elbow-length rubber gloves, I still break out in a rash and feel sick. Now my allergies are a thing of the past, because the dishwasher does the washing for me.

I doubt I could have washed the plates and glasses as well by hand. Even if I tried really hard, I couldn't have done it. No streaks, no smudges, the dishes shine as if they were made of precious materials. I don't really like that programs take too long to run. Sometimes after a meal there are three or four plates left over, and I want to wash them right away, but I remember there'll be a shortage and the program takes a long time, so I have to pile them up until the evening so I can wash them all at once. I hate leaving dirty plates, but otherwise, everything's fine, I'm very happy with the machine.

Please note! The quality of your dishwashing results often depends on the detergent you choose, so be careful when choosing one.

Whirlpool ADP1077WH

Ivan Davlatov

I'm a seasoned dishwasher user, having owned five in total. I can't say the Whirlpool ADP1077WH is the best of the five, but it's certainly a solid second place.

Whirlpool ADP1077WHMy top pick is a Miele dishwasher, which burned out two years ago due to a power surge. I knew nothing about this machine before buying it, choosing it based on customer reviews on a website, and now that I've used it, I'm writing my own review, and I have a lot to say.

  • Good non-built-in dishwasher.
  • The machine washes dishes perfectly, even plates and containers with heavily dried-on dirt.
  • It washes forks very well, leaving nothing between the tines.
  • I tried to clean the dirt off the chandelier, took it apart, put it in the dishwasher and lo and behold, the chandelier started to sparkle.
  • The machine accepts 3-in-1 products well.

As a minus, I can note a very loud signal at the end of the washing program. It feels like the manufacturers intended this dishwasher to be used by a deaf old man. Because of this flaw, I'm giving it a 4.

Whirlpool ADP7570IX

Whirlpool ADP7570IXSemyon Cherdakov

I can't imagine what this "bourgeois" appliance needs. I bought a Whirlpool ADP7570IX six months ago, but I can't figure out why my plates and glasses are covered in white spots and streaks. The dishes clean well from food residue, but I can't seem to figure out the nature of these whitish streaks. I contacted the service center, and the specialists recommended using specific detergent tablets (Finish). I did so, but it's no use; the white streaks are still there. I plan to send the machine in for repairs while it's still under warranty. I don't recommend this model to anyone.

In conclusion, consumer reviews indicate that the quality of Whirlpool dishwashers isn't always top-notch. It's a matter of luck: if you get a good machine, it will last for many years without any issues, but if you get a defective one, you'll have a ton of problems. This is generally true for any other dishwasher model, so read the reviews and make your decision.
