Who makes Centek washing machines?
Centek automatic washing machines have established a strong position in the home appliance market. Many buyers are unfamiliar with this brand. Should they be considered, and how reliable are they?
Let's find out who makes Centek washing machines. In what country are they assembled? What do users think of this brand's machines?
Where are Centek cars assembled?
In 2010, the washing machine manufacturing company Centek entered the market. This is a Russian brand, headquartered in the Krasnodar region. The founders are the limited liability companies Larina and Yug-Byttekhnika.
Centek automatic machines are assembled in Chinese factories.
The Russian holding company designs the automatic machines and develops the software. Manufacturing is contracted out to Chinese factories. The equipment bears the Centek brand.
The Centek brand's product range also includes microwave ovens, electric stoves, small appliances, and split-system air conditioners. The brand's washing machines offer an optimal price-quality ratio. This allows the holding company to compete in the market by offering customers affordable and multifunctional washing machines.
Centek washing machines are sold in major chain stores such as Eldorado, DNS, Magnit, and others. Other major sales channels include marketplaces such as Wildberries, MegaMarket, and Ozon. The brand has been supplying its equipment to the Russian market for almost 15 years.
Are there service centers?
Even the highest-quality equipment breaks down over time. Therefore, the issue of after-sales service for washing machines is very pressing. Buyers are interested in whether the brand has service centers where they can turn for diagnostics and repairs.
Of course, Centek automatic machines are covered by both warranty and post-warranty service. The holding has authorized service centers in major cities. You can always find the address of the nearest one on the organization's official website.
The factory warranty for Centek washing machines is usually 3 years.
During this time, users can expect free diagnostics and repairs. After the warranty period, users can return to Centek service centers, but for a fee. The cost of services and parts will be lower than at independent repair shops.
To find the address of your nearest repair center:
- go to the company's website;
- click "Find service";
- Please indicate your locality or region.
The system will then display the addresses and phone numbers of the nearest repair shops. You can request a washing machine diagnostic and repair through the official Centek website. A manager will call you back to inform you and clarify any details.
Accessible technical support is a significant advantage of Centek washing machines. Authorized centers are located throughout Russia. Spare parts are also supplied directly from the manufacturer, making them competitively priced.

A washing machine with touch controls and a drying function was a dream come true. I chose the Centek Ct-1954, made in Russia and assembled in China. It has a very modern design and a black body.
Water consumption per cycle is only 60 liters. It holds up to 8 kg of laundry when washing and up to 5 kg when drying. This is plenty for a family of four. The washing machine is very quiet; I can't even hear it spinning.
I've been using this machine for two months now. I've had absolutely no problems with its operation. It has a huge variety of washing modes and additional options. You can spin any fabric in it; I've washed wool, satin, and synthetics. It dries beautifully—a long, warm down jacket dries completely in two hours.
I believe that overpaying just for the brand name is pointless. Similar washing machines from more well-known brands cost two to three times more. In fact, Russian-made Centek machines offer the best value for money. They are well-built, so I now recommend this manufacturer to everyone I know.

A washing machine is an indispensable assistant for every woman. Today, in the 21st century, everything is much simpler; there's no need to go to the river to rinse clothes. Modern women only need one thing: choose a good model that suits their needs.
When the old washing machine we inherited from the previous owners broke down, my husband and I went to the store. Honestly, we were spoiled for choice. Thanks to the sales assistant who helped us choose. We settled on the Centek Ct-1954 and haven't regretted it for a second.
The first thing that captured my heart was the machine's design. The washing machine is finished in black, which blends perfectly with my interior. Its depth is 43 cm, yet the drum has a maximum capacity of 8 kg of laundry.
The machine has a convenient handle that opens easily with a single push. It has a large drawer for detergent and fabric softener. The drawer slides out smoothly, like clockwork. The wash program is selected with a rotary dial. It's nice that all the information on the dashboard is in Russian.
The drum is illuminated. It all looks very nice. Children and pets will love watching the washing process. The interface is simple, and you can figure out the controls yourself. However, the included manual explains all the details in detail.
The Centek Ct-1954 washing machine operates very quietly – you can’t hear it even when spinning at maximum speed.
The machine has a ton of different modes. It even has a drying option. This feature has become indispensable; I can't imagine living without it. I use the "Down Jacket" program for washing winter clothes, and the filling hasn't pilled up once.
When we purchased the machine, the standard factory warranty was three years. We purchased the VIP package with free four years of service (it cost us $40). If the machine breaks down, a technician will come right to your home and repair it for free.
The machine's price at the time of purchase was $440. I think this is a fair price for a washing machine with this much functionality. I highly recommend this model; it has never let me down in all the time I've been using it.

Among the advantages of the Centek Ct-1951 model, I would highlight the price, feature set, wash quality, and ease of installation. I purchased the machine on Ozon. I would like to discuss the disadvantages in more detail.
The first thing that alerted me was that the machine gets very hot during drying. Hot laundry smells of plastic. Once the clothes are dry, they no longer smell of anything. The fabric softener scent doesn't linger.
Second, water remains in the detergent dispenser after washing. You have to constantly remove the drawer and empty it. The drawer itself is very flimsy, and pouring laundry detergent from a large bottle is awkward.
Hair and fur are removed from clothes, but all the debris remains on the drum walls and cuff. Therefore, after each wash, you need to take a rag and wipe down the elements. There is no lint filter, as in some dryers.
After two months of use, a knocking noise appeared during the wash and spin cycles. I didn't want to bother with repairs, so I decided to wait. After another month, a loud humming sound joined the noise. I'm still observing and sincerely hope the washing machine will last at least five years without repairs. So far, I haven't regretted the purchase, but I don't know how it will perform in the future.
